Title: What should be the impact of Bitcoin in Nigeria? << 1 2..... 7 8 All >>

The influence of Bitcoin in Nigeria is not much noticed, because of the informal structure of the government system. But the country's anti-Bitcoin movement is one of the most widely publicized dailies in the country.

But I think Nigeria as a populous country can make long-term bitcoin investments with the liquidity of the economy structure and a legal process that will help power their economic infrastructure. I am new so want to know more.
Attracting the attention of others! Please let me know.

I don't think if that is true because the Nigerian government has earlier on figured the impact of Bitcoin in the country and that is why they began acting anti towards all just to shade some structures of stakeholders by interfering on the centralized policies with the exchanges.

Bitcoin has already begotten dominance in the country Nigeria with its potentials as it is being attractive to create Financial opportunities for individuals adopting it for source of incomes which has already been achieved a reality that is why in Nigeria today, once one is being displayed publicly of affiliating with Bitcoin, you have then influenced the public including the government because they believe Bitcoin users are potential to get rich.

Moreso, the Bitcoin adoptors is also not limited to influence the Nigerian government that is why there has been about the inconvenience crypto policies by the government due to fear/conciousness that the potentials of Bitcoin might defy the valueless Naira.

Surprisingly, if you must hype the African continent on how Bitcoin has made a strong hold dominance and Influential in the various part of it, I bring to your awareness that Nigeria is number 1 country in Africa and marked rank 6th of World crypto users.
With all these, the potential benefits of Bitcoin adoption in Nigeria has pinned valuable influences within the country that is beyond your thoughts.

I know the main point of discussion is centered on Bitcoin but that aside, let's take Cryptocurrency in general as a reference, do you know that Nigeria dominates when it comes to Cryptocurrency users in Africa? Do you also know that Nigerians are one of the most adopters of the Telegram blockchain due to the ongoing airdrops lately in that space? You could imagine the number of people that are currently patronizing Bitcoin for different use cases especially when they discover that it is the best Cryptocurrency for investment. The thing is that we don't have a working government who would take advantage of the benefit of Bitcoin to help improve our economy but rather would come up with different strategies to frustrate Bitcoin users based on their selfish interests. Despite the different plot by the government their are many people secretly using Bitcoin and the numbers are increasing without much awareness being created cause people are beginning to see how beneficial it is and I believe that if the government were not acting anti as said by EluguHcman, it's use case would had gone viral and many businesses and institutions would openly promoted it use case in the country.

Individually we go fit see and feel the influence of bitcoin on Nigerians and this is true if we follow the recent index wey put Nigeria in number 2 spot  among the top 10 countries with highest users/adopters of cryptocurrency which bitcoin na one of them. See this post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5509351.msg64536513#msg64536513).

Waitin I understand about why you they assume say the influence of bitcoin no dey that noticed or proclaimed for the country nah because of say the government are yet to put body for bitcoin to use am or give am their support. But that no supposed be the variable to take decide whether bitcoin dey highly noticed for Nigeria or not. Nowadays you hardly not hear people especially youths discussing about digital currency and don't mention bitcoin, something that wasn't so known some few years back.

By now Nigerian supposed have gone far by every cryptocurrency aspect but all this while the youths country have lay down due to the how the government was trying to take an actions to take a way Bitcoin out of the country, and if we can observe the Nigerian they seem like they’re the one leading the Bitcoins movement because even the telegram now the Nigerian users are the most popular to the airdrops .

If you de view di adoption of Bitcoin based on our government level you go notice say dem policies no de crypto friendly. Dem never give Bitcoin di necessary support wey im need for transaction matters inside di country. Our government through CBN still restrict our banks to de facilitate cryptocurrency transactions matters, anoda one na di naira p2p transactions wey dem make some top exchanges to disable. Dis things come make many Nigerians wey never de knowledgeable about crypto matter to de think say na scam.

On personal levels cryptocurrency adoption don increase well well for di country, many Nigerians especially di youths de into di businesses. You no fit to mention crypto adoption and usage for di world make you no mention Nigerians. Nigerian people no de carry last for anything wey be money matter and cryptocurrency don provide different avenues for people to de earn money. Weda na for investment, trading or for exchanges Nigerian people de involved and dem de make money inside, either as major or passive income. My happiness be say even though say Nigerian government no de crypto friendly dem no ban am for di country.

Op Nigeria is the number one bitcoin using country in Africa and it was number two in the world in 2021. We know that the government is not friendly with the crypto community in the country but the matter what we still dey try. Accepting bitcoin to increase the economy growth in s not for this government agenda but another government and the only president that can accept or adopt bitcoin in this country is a young man and not a old man like the present one or even Atiku is not good to become president in Nigeria. Other countries and individuals are busy investing in bitcoin for a long time but our own na to even destroy it.
