Title: In the pursuit of money, do we find happiness?
Post by: Grepast777 on September 21, 2024, 01:11:56 PM
Where to start the story? Perhaps I'll start from the very beginning, in 2019 I got acquainted with the world of cryptocurrencies, then these were thematic telegram channels, I immediately went to buy and lost about $ 250 after listening to other people's investment advice, but I did not despair and thought to dive into this topic. At the same time, I was studying in college, it was already 2021, I learned for myself what scalping is, futures and in general about the market, I consider myself more of a cryptocurrency speculator, where in the spring of 2021, when DOGE was pumped again, I decided to grab my piece and went long on Binance with futures leverage of about 20, but as quickly as I saw the profit, it was the same and I saw how it went to correction and I was liquidated, at that time the amount was about $ 3000, for me it was the first big blow, I was finishing my studies and I had to write a thesis, but I had neither the strength nor the desire, I thought that my life was over, that was all my money. After being in this state for about a month, I lost 10 kg, I lost my sleep pattern, but I gathered my strength and still wrote a thesis and successfully defended it. Then I had to choose what to do in life, what attracted me to the field of trading and crypto in general, that you do not depend on anyone, you do not have deadlines, you have no boss. I decided to try again, simultaneously studied DAPP, but I was always missing something, by nature I can't lose, I can't come to terms with defeat, which led to the fact that months of successful trading were flushed down the toilet one day when everything went wrong. In the end, I lost about $ 7,000, then went to the army and when I returned I decided to start over, as a result I lost another ~ $ 2,000, later I got a small credit debt. Now I am not doing anything, trying to collect my thoughts, understand what I want, sometimes I read the news of the crypto world, why did I say this, maybe it will be useful for someone, so as not to make the same mistakes, although I am of the opinion that people fully understand something only from their personal experience, in any case, I hope this information will be useful to someone. A smart person learns from his own mistakes, a wise person learns from others, and a fool never learns. I will be glad to receive feedback from you here or in private messages, as well as all sorts of job offers, you can in telegram @yamatokenshi1

Someone said:  "money can't buy the happiness, but can buy the liberty, and only being free you can be happy". Well, I said it, but I be a cool guy.

Money can buy so many things, poverty not.

What usually leads us to this pursuit is the essential need for freedom. The fear of losing it all and, then, their freedom is what can lead us to non-healthy path: the greed.

Well I do think there is alot of things we can buy. And this is that we have so much money more then other people. But there is people with alot of money and they are still not happy and are lonely. Maybe money can buy us happiness for a short time. Not in long terms.

My my own opinion is that this is a subjective question that can be properly understood by your own definition of happiness. Peoples definition of happiness differs, if yours lies in the acquisition of material things which money can by then you can clearly state that money can buy happiness as long as you still have the means to purchase the materials that make you happy. But if your definition of happiness lies in the less tangible aspects of life then even with the money and its pursuits we can loose happiness because our definition of happiness might not be bought by money.

In the pursuit of money, do we find happiness?

Often YES! Often its the people who get the money they pursue who lose the joy of obtaining it.

Money doesn't guarantee happiness. I think focusing only on money to be your source of happiness is the wrong mindset to have. That said, having money can bring your security and comfort which often makes it easier for one to seek true happiness.
