You know that this idea is not new. There are lots of blockchain based lottery gambling website were made but all of them cease to exist now. While it's true that this type of lottery is transparent, cannot be cheated, etc. i remember some user made a site like this and do a review campaign for people to test it while it get the attention of many in the early stage but it got lost and people find less interested on it later on. Idk but its always the case

How much mining power for 1 lottery ticket? And how much would that ticket cost me if I wanted to try the service?

Considering the mining difficulty of Bitcoin at the moment, I don't think such an idea would be for the general public because you can't expect everyone to spend a lot of money on such a thing only to try their luck, and spending a small amount would probably not give anyone enough mining power to be able to mine a block with it. So it's an easy loss of money for them.

Please explain this further before you ask for surveys or suggestions, etc.

I participated on your survey since you can submit as being anonymous, I can't recall the year, but we had something like this before that is something and somewhat similar.

Since this also deals with mining, you should also ask traders and miners to widen your target audience, Since you will eventually launch your project here in Bitcointalk, I advise you that you upgrade your account to Copper so you can post images to easily communicate how your concept work for the benefit of people who finds your concept new in their ears.

I dunno, this whole mining service thing sounds kinda iffy to me.  I mean yeah, sure the idea is interesting and all.  But didnt some other companies try stuff like this already and totally flop? With how insanely hard it is for regular folks to mine coins these days, I have my doubts.  Like will you even have enough computing muscle behind the scenes to realistically score any block rewards for your users? The odds seem mad slim. 

And in your survey, putting your potential returns next to lottery payout percentages? Come on now.  Playing the numbers with Powerball or Eurojackpot is already betting on the worlds jankiest long shot and  sooo are you promising CryptoLotto kit and caboodle is gonna do better than that? Call me a skeptic but I gotta see it to believe it.

Anyway, maybe Im being too harsh here.  The idea really could be decent and lord knows we need more normies dipping toes into crypto.  But man, lotta uphill battles ahead for sure.  Best of luck to you and all that...

So where are you now, Are you in a planning stage or do you have a model for this concept, Do you have a domain and already installed the script and configured it.

There's no existing platform that has this concept; maybe in the past there was one, but I guess so many depends on how you present your concept, I'm looking forward to seeing your platform, You need a lot of effort and funding for marketing on this new concept, but I'm sure you will have loyal subscribers if you can keep it up.

I have a website up and running, however as I am very much a fan of anonymity, I am coding most things without a framework on the frontend (to avoid analytics/tracking) and try to avoid too much cloud-provider involvement. This takes time, and I want it to look at least decent before I share it here.
The backend is the easy part as its going to be hosted locally, bare-metal. No information besides the BTC Address its mining to.


This is part of the reason I am thinking about having an Bitcoin Address for funding for the project. The issue is, you don't get money for ideas, and I am well aware of that. I need to prove it works. I will take out a loan soon to get the physical equipment, and provide a small-scale version of the service. If people like it, I will expand upon the project with the profits and or eventual donations. If it flops, we move on.

You have a good mind set and dedication on your project, that's how a developer should work, Regardless of the outcome, I hope you succeed if not you will learn from this and will evcentuall come out with a platform that is both popular and profitable.

I'm not discouraging you, but you do have a new and unpopular concept in gambling, but all gambling has taken the risks on the competition, so I hope you can keep up and always be motivated.
