      How it works?

From the moment the thread is published until Nov 1st - ie Halloween is the final day of submission , you will have the opportunity to post photos of your Bitcoin pumpkin (read the rules below). After that date, a voting thread will be launched where we will work together to determine the winners (the voting will also last about two weeks).

• Post at least 2 photos: [1] Photo of a pumpkin [2] Photo of a pumpkin + username and date ➥ Note
• The pumpkin must be a bitcoin pumpkin (Bitcointalk style is allowed).
• Only real pumpkins qualify / Only one pumpkin per user ➥ Note.

A few life hacks ... A hand mixer will make it much easier to get the insides of the pumpkin. Cutting a main hole in the bottom of the pumpkin will make it easier to light the candle inside (you won't regret sprinkling the inside of the pumpkin with cinnamon). Btw, It is better to use a red marker for the outline.

(Just realized I made a pumpkin corn penis 🤷‍♂️ )

Proceeds of the peeled .01 as well as others will go towards my charity auction this year. Three main things since so much has hit home w me this year in an unfortunate way.  First some funds will go to disaster relief in Tampa Bay (where I spent 6/7 years living). I lived down the street from Tropicana where the Rays play and where the BTC Bowl was held  https://i.ibb.co/BNt5TtY/IMG-3200.jpg (https://ibb.co/jRTP3Tj)  I didn’t go , I think I just found out about btc 🥹..really want a tix stub for the game !! Anyways anyone who knows me well knows I’m an animal advocate activist..so the relief will be for dogs and cats mainly whom are displaced (the 3 kitties 🐈‍⬛ below are the ones I cared for when I lived there and the other two are ferals I care for now. Cats ALSO go quite well with the Halloween themed event here!

Breast cancer and schizophrenia are two illnesses that are very close to home for me and my family and will use the other proceeds for those research causes.

Edit x 100 or so lol- Another way to win- anyone who collects at least 10 pumpkins in their local area and make food out of them, that’s delivered to a local food pantry for the poor/homeless will get a physical btc of some kind. Might be an all copper coin like my first coin was, up to Casascius DIY aluminum coins and any huge food deliveries I’ll do something really special for them. @theymos made a great point last time and said he hated seeing all the wasted pumpkin food..well. Let’s not waste any if we can !!! (I will need proof of this, of course. DM on how to provide it)

I can't remember how many years ago I last ate a pumpkin... Moreover, I have never tried to make something out of it in terms of cutting.
Naturally, I will participate, it will be interesting and at least this idea will give me the opportunity to have an fun time with someone close to me.

After seeing your quote I am smiling to myself :D ;D, and I am writing with a smile on my face :D. I really should have enhanced the beauty through some process here. My biggest problem is that I am not very good at manual work and I have very little patience for these tasks :-\. I am not good at small difficult tasks. Participating in this competition and teaching handiwork was my value objective.

Pumpkin Carving Contest is being held for the second time in Forum where I am the first participant in this contest.  

To be a participant in this contest I needed a pumpkin which I purchased from the market and after gathering all the materials required for sweet pumpkin carving I participated in this contest by carving sweet pumpkin myself.  
I didn't throw away the pumpkin after making bitcoin pumpkins but kept it to eat because it's so delicious and nutritious.

But I ordered butternut pumpkin from an online shop, so I write this comment here to ask if the butternut pumpkin is allowed on this contest? Or is it only the suger pumpkin and other curved pumpkins that every participants can use?

I have a question here, can people who are new to the forum participate here. Nothing is said here about this matter. You will clear this point.
Because some new people have joined our local board for a while, can they participate if they want?

So far so good with the entries, and lots of Amazing works too. Trying to get the right pumpkin for my carvings but for some reasons it seems there is a little bit shortage of pumpkin over here in my region and  maybe it's due to the massive demand of pumpkin by Bitcoiners over here 😁😁

I think anyone can participate on this Bitcoin pumpkin carving contest @B2Z has already posted his final work and your rank is bigger than his/her's. However, as long as it is not included on the rules that from member rank below is not allowed to participate, it means that everyone can join the contest.

Congratulations and thank you for organising such a long awaited event ChiBitCTy (and icopress!).

It is great to know that proceeds will go to good causes, which definitely gives double merit to the initiative.

Was thinking of a pumpkin carving that was different from the others and had never been made.

Just an FYI your carving does not have to include anything about bc.game. While I’m extremely thankful of their sponsorship, and love to gamble myself and have heard great things about them, they have no say in voting or results. Why, you don’t have any chance of winning! JK Jk what’s up my bother! This was asked a few times last contest, it didn’t happen, so I doubt it. I’d love to see it if he ever decides to. I think it would be cool as it’s been extremely well received, a great event for btalk & I’ll be running this every year until I meet my maker (trying to beat my buddy @jetcash as the oldest forum member ever ..some day  :D ).  I’ve not heard or seen the big boss around yet, though. So wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Hello, How are you all, I participated in this contest for the first time, I didn't find any good pumpkin in the market for the past 5 days, today luckily I found this pumpkin, it took me about 4 hours to carve the pumpkin. It was not at all easy for me, because I had never do them before any time. Anyway, I was able to do this much without any experience, don't know how you guys will like it.

Throwback 2022 Pumpkin 🎃 Carving work and I see this design has comeback in 2024 ::)

Yeah first time was fraught w lots of learning curves that’s for sure lol. Btw i believe i owe you an Inbox reply (prob others too so my apologies ) & honestly its a bad time for me now to be running this and a charity auction for FL..but the world doesn’t stop and wait for anyone right, I’ll be in touch soon!

The tools used are still the same with a carving knife and pencil to create the image scenario.
Added lights to make it look lit...

Awesome handcrafted, but your presentation could be improved a bit. You can remove the "height=xxx" tag so the original image size ratio can be maintained.
If you want to make all image sizes equal, you should crop the original image instead of adjusting the width and height in the forum.

Since I got a reserved post on the first page, I have to make it better than the previous one. Besides, I promised you anyway.

Honestly I almost did it with joker, but I didn't have an idea that I could correlate this character with bitcoin. So I stuck with Venom.

Wiki references say that the 90s Spiderman vs Venom series started to be published monthly starting in Feb, 1993 to Jan, 1998). So issues before 1993 would be rare collectible's items since they weren't published regularly.

Using CNC machines is quite incredible, replacing human hands with more precise and neat results.
But I only used my hands for the wood carving and on the pumpkin contest carving this time.

I wanted to participate in this happiness even though the results were not very expected because maybe my artistic spirit was lacking even though the initial expectation was more than this.
The concept is that I want to say that fiat is now no better than bitcoin but the craftsmanship is not as good as I expected but I will not make this an obstacle to participate.

I think there is something you are missing up here and i will like to correct you that op is actually right on what he is saying, now look the above place i have just highlighted with bold. He said only 3 users shares $1500 worth in BTC and not a total of 8 persons.

Thanks for organizing this event, it is my second participation in the "Happy Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest".

My theme had to do intrinsically with the shape of my pumpkin, at first I thought of using it for a kind of pumpkin with a witch's hat, but the process led me to:
the pumpkin projects the idea of ​​bitcoin, it lights up... consequently  that candle light turns into the bitcoin logo, hence, if the pumpkin could think... it would think of bitcoin.

This was the first time for me taking part in the Pumpkin Carving Contest. After looking at "pumpkin ideas" from OP, it was clear to me, that i wanna do that for my contribution.
The hardest part then was finding an appropriate bitcoin theme (brainstorming ~1h) and create some art out of it (lineart creation ~3h). Transfering the idea to the pumpkin was then time intesive (~5h), but break time for my brain. Finally there has to be done some "inner" carving for light transmission and of course a little bit of decoration (~1h).

This is the first time I am taking part in Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest 🎃. I must say, I had some fun and distraction :D

Due to the reason that not all of my initial vision was represented as I thought it would be, I feel it will be better if I provide some explanation:
1. The face, namely - the eyes - are Bitcoin Symbol. I hope it is quite obvious.
2. In the right hand my pumping is holding a pick, because he is a miner and Bitcoin he already mined is in his left hand.
3. My pumpkin`s smile is the rising arrow - the only direction we shall see in Bitcoin price movement at this moment.
4. The Black Cat is my alternative personality.
5. On the back of the pumpkin is not the world "Book". It is "Boo" and "k" symbol. It was supposed to symbolise that Bitcoin will be 100k very soon, but also be connected to Halloween. 

PS. I carved the pumpkin today, but obviously, I was a little bit lost in time, thinking, that today is only 21.10.2024

This is my first time to carve pumpkin, I thought it will be easy and I can carve with the results that I was thinking, but actually it's hard lol.

Actually I tried to carve skull face and then I left on refrigerator, unfortunately I have no mood to continue it, my pumpkin ended up wilted. Then I choose to bought new pumpkin and carve with different concept.
