from decembar 2023 i start gambling and invest in crypto. my life was good back then. i lost all my savings and took debt from many people. now its time to return people money. but im totally zero. i dont know what to do? Cant sleep for last 3 month. Thought to give up my life. but im not that much brave. i need to take care of my family. for many people this 10000 dollar maybe nothing. but for me now its a big burden. i lose my scholarship. first time i failed in my semester exam. now i need to pay to my university also. im fully fucked up.....

There is no shortcut on this first you need to focus and forget all the bad things happen back then, talk to the people that you have in-debt, and explain you're situation if you will hide and don't talk to them they will get mad at you for sure its better to admit and promise to pay them but it will take time, start things slowly you will eventually overcome that situation, good-luck hope you recover

It's too early to give up and be aware that if you take that life off I guess you'd keep more burden of broken emotions to your family and the debts would still be demanded which they must comply.
Now you've realized your faults take steps to retrieve your personality.
Just go and find yourself some payable jobs and be courageous that you'd always bounce back to debt free and stay off your addiction

People that commit suicide are not brave. They are cowards and they think that they have no purpose again in life but which might totally not be true. If you truly care about your family, you will not be coward. Just move on and see what life will become of you but be positive. If their is life, there is hope.

1. gambling
2. no money
3. lost scolarship
4. failed semester exams

You have 4 problems...

I am certain that you have 4,000 reasons to be happy with your life and another 4,000 reasons not to give up.

Let's see the actions now:
1. The gambling isssue must be communicated with someone if you can't stop it. Perhaps a therapist would be a good start. It literally requires less than 1hr of your time to search for a therapist.
2. Money can be found if you start working. Depending on where you live this can be hard, but searching for a job is a must (in my opinion).
3. The scholarship thing will be handled, if you start with action (2).
4. Many people don't even finish with their studies, so I am sure it can be handled by studying harder.

I make things look easy but I acknowledge that for many people they aren't easy. If you are really struggling with seeing the positive sides / aspects of your life, there are many people that can help (action (1)).

the money i lend from people they are my university friend. now their visa will finish. they need to pay in this month. so i dont have any option to give them back within 10 days this big amount of money

At least you don't owe that money to dangerous people who could retaliate seriously. In part, if your friends lent you some money they couldn't afford to spend, I think that they are also responsible for his imprudence. If you can't give them the money back in 10 days because it is indeed a very large amount, then I'm afraid that they'll have to look for a loan themselves, although it is quite paradoxical having to take out a loan because they don't pay back the one they owe you ::)

Focusing on you, mdshimom80, I think you have a serious problem not only of debt, but of irresponsibility and if you do not solve it you will have more serious problems in the future.

Sorry for your loss but this topic doesn't belong to this board, I suggest you to move it to suitable board like gambling discussion. No one will help you in your debt, I suggest you to learn a skill online and start doing various jobs to gain some money and then slowly start paying your debt.

Im really sorry to hear youre having such a rough time lately.  That sucks big time.  Hhave you thought about opening up to any family or friends at all? Maybe try just talking to someone you trust - whether its a buddy, a parent, or even a therapist if thats an option - about all these feelings youve been struggling with solo.  Getting some of that heavy stuff off your chest could seriously help lighten the load a bit.  And you never know, they might have some good advice or support to offer too.  Just dont forget that you ain't alone in this fight! There are always folks and resources out there ready to help if you need it.

Of course, I want to support you morally and give you good advice, but the problem is that you are behaving irresponsibly towards your family. And this irresponsibility is caused by ludomania, which must be treated first.
