Title: Re: Bitcoin Hash Rate Post by: nachius on March 31, 2014, 08:02:54 PM That's a very vague question and the answer changes every 10ish days!
To help answer the question properly what are you goals? How much do you have to invest/lose? How much is electricity where you will be mining? Online calculators (like genesis block mining calc) will be a place to start to give you an idea of your return over a period for a certain hashrate and cost, but there is a lot more to it than just saying 1THs is enough. Enough for how much for how long and what can you justify spending on that 1Ths? You could go script mining. $1500 gets a CONSITENT $250 ish equiv. to btc monthly. Since there are so many coins, you can also swap algo's if you choose. Unless actually mine sha256, I'd go with 3 s'1s personally, and eventually trade up to a s2. |
