I’m excited to introduce $Kira powered by Infera.

To put it simple – while Infera is the infrastructural project, Kira is the actual AI product built on that infrastructure.

What is Infera:
Infera is building a decentralized network for LLM inference allowing developers API access to dozens of open source and custom fine tuned models.

In an era where AI is increasingly central to our digital lives, concerns have risen around the concentration of decision-making power within a few hands for the industry. An example of this is OpenAI and it’s closed decision making for their AI products.

Infera Network is dedicated to revolutionizing the field of artificial intelligence by promoting the decentralization of AI inference for LLMs. Our mission is to democratize access to cutting-edge AI technologies through the provision of cost-effective, open-source modes that are improved on via community and individual contributions to the Infera ecosystem.

Beginning with Large Language Models (LLMs), Infera Network is committed to constructing a more inclusive, equitable, and community-driven AI landscape. This will be achieved by nurturing and harnessing advanced technologies developed in-house, ensuring that our efforts pave the way for a future where AI not only serves but also empowers Infera Network’s global communities.

What is $Kira:
Kira is set to become the first AI agent to operate entirely on Infera’s decentralized AI network. It’s a real-world example of how advanced AI models can be hosted and run using our infrastructure.

• Model Upgrade Path: Kira currently runs on Llama 8B via Infera’s API. Soon, we’ll upgrade to the fine-tuned 70B model and 405B, all powered by a network of consumer devices, showcasing Infera’s ability to support high-parameter, complex models.
• On-Chain Transaction Capabilities: Soon, Kira will be able to perform on-chain transactions as an Agent. And with Infera network, the transactions will always be verifiable on the blockchain.
• Adaptive Learning: Kira grows smarter with each online interaction, adapting to feedback and evolving alongside the network.
• Scalability and Participation: Kira is also about expanding Infera’s network. As more people interact run nodes, the network becomes stronger and more efficient. Kira showcases that anyone can contribute to running an AI agent, helping us build a more open and collaborative.
• Kira is more than just a single AI agent - it’s the starting point for a network that can host and support many AI agents. This is a key step in showing how decentralized networks like Infera can scale to meet real-world challenges.
