- You're a business owner, interested in partnerships. It's possible you can meet new people, investors, and discuss your project and ideas. I know nothing about cryptography conferences, but I would agree with this one. If you're willing, as a beginner, to get something valuable... maybe it's not the best place. Why? Take any conference and its agenda. Take a look at what they consist of: grand opening, VIP concerts, afterparty... It's not really about getting valuable information. OR MAYBE, if you just want to spend time in a nice hotel, place, meet new people, or going for a vacation... Title: Re: Are crypto conferences useful? In the end, if there is something particular you would like to see or meet someone—go. It's only your decision. And I do think for most of them you can watch it online for free.
So I will just do this if I really do want to hear someone talk. I do not think it is worth all the trouble to buy the ticket for something we can watch online for nothing.
