Title: Suggestions on weekly health tips in the local board.
Post by: Egii Nna on January 01, 2025, 08:15:12 PM
Happy New Year to you all!

The new year always comes with new plans and new innovations, and I came up with a new project for our humble local board.

Based on my knowledge, I have never come across such a project in this local board or even in this forum, but I don’t know if there was something like that before or not. But I would like to launch a project that will be given weekly health tips in the local board because, as we all are always ready to get knowledge and also get profit in our investment, we still need to know about our health. And I am very sure this project that I am trying to bring to the local board will not only add value to our health but also to our local board because I don’t think such a project has happened in any local board yet.

So I want to use this opportunity to get suggestions from other members in the forum so that I can fix a date when I will start giving the weekly health tips. Furthermore, this is a continuous project, because I can’t say when it will end..

Just as they say "health is wealth" we can not always be talking about money without talking about health, one must be healthy enough to bring about the long term investment we all long for. However it's paramount to have an area of concentration in making this project a success and thus such includes having stats on some health that affects all ages and what health issues you is likely to be important to us here especially from our locality. this is my candid suggestions and have a good time planing the wellness of our local board.

This a welcome idea especially with the current economic conditions of the Nigerian citizens, we need health tips especially as regards healthy foods and alternatives that can catch down our expenses and still give us good healthy nutritional value, so for sure health thread like this is essential, at least this will help us a lot to gain some knowledge that can save us a lot both health wise and financial burdens that comes from available sicknesses. Again a quick one, are you a health practitioner like a Doctor or nurse, I want to know your background so that we can know how to approach the health tips you are supplying daily.

Asking for a date of when you will begin giving health tips is not necessary. Why not start with this thread and with the above OP immediately? Also, all necessary information should be contained in the OP while the thread can later be a long and continuous thread. I still see this thread as not necessary.

I am a licensed health educator with proof that I studied and gained a license. And my main goal is to see people being healthy and not falling sick or even going to the hospital as a sick patients. our main goal as an health educator is to break the chain of diseases in the community, by identifying their problems and working with them to create a solution to their problems within the community.

Here is the prove.
Nice one, this is all that is needed, don't get offended that I asked about your profession because now that we know you are a health educator, it means we are getting professional health tips for free, good job and I can't wait to read your first tips and what it will be all about, just to suggest that you give special attention to food nutrition and supplements.

I think it’s an awesome idea to have regular health tips here. I’ve picked up some of my best habits from random forum posts like this, even small things like staying hydrated properly or how often to check blood pressure have made a difference for me. It’d be even better if the tips are practical and easy to follow, especially things related to food and everyday habits rather than just medical advice.

Lately, I’ve also been checking out tools and apps that help with personalized health advice. I’m using one now called Menalam (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/menalam/id6741103231) that builds supplement plans based on your data. You might get cool ideas for your project from features like that.

Totally agree! Sometimes the simplest health tips make the biggest difference

I totally agree that practical health tips make the biggest difference in daily life. Simple habits like drinking enough water or adding short stretches during work breaks can shift your energy more than complicated routines. Recently I’ve been curious about how digital tools can support these small lifestyle tweaks, and I stumbled upon this madmuscles review (https://madmuscles-review.com/) . What I liked was that it showed real user feedback instead of just marketing claims, which made it easier to figure out if an app could actually help with consistency. For me, seeing how others stay motivated gave me ideas I wouldn’t have thought of on my own.
