Title: Sportsbet.io casino removed my winnings
Post by: east_western4 on January 04, 2025, 07:06:33 AM
Hi. My username "east_western4". On December 20, I registered at Sportsbet.io casino. I bet on sports, periodically making new deposits. But as soon when my balance was 1744.89 usdt- i requested the first withdrawal, they asked for photos and asked if I knew any accounts.
I have never registered on this site before. I sent everything that was asked of me. But after 2 days I received a letter saying that my winnings were canceled and I was allowed withdraw only my deposit.
They confiscated $611.33 and approved only 1133.56 usdt.
They no longer respond to emails. Also yesterday on this forum I wrote a personal message to the support service of the Sportsbet.io- they are silent everywhere. I want to warn people against this site, they do not withdraw funds, but as long as you make deposits you are always welcome. If the support service only responds publicly, then let them write here and help me please.
I did not violate the rules of this site, I do not have other accounts, I bet on sports honestly.

Maybe your account was flagged as part of some multiple accounts. The things you want to first cross-check with are, if;
1. You have someone in your family who also opened a sportsbet account and uses the same internet connection.
2. You shared your device with someone else who created and logged into a sportsbet account.
3. You used a VPN service to register and log into your sportsbet account.

These are parts of their ToS
3.4 If you attempt to open more than one Member Account, we reserve the right to block, suspend or close your Member Account, as well as freeze any funds credited to your account.

8.6 Rewards can only be received once per person/account, family, household, address, e-mail address, IP addresses and environments where computers are shared (university, school, public library, workplace, etc.). The Company reserves the right to close your account and confiscate any existing funds if evidence of abuse/fraud is found.

just to be clear, your initial deposit was the 1133.56 usdt and your winnings were the $611.33?

as JeromeTash mentioned your account was probably flagged for having multiple accounts, if you have done the things JeromeTash mentioned it's probably why your account was flagged.

anyway, you mentioned that you messaged them yesterday, it is possible that they disabled the "Allow newbies to send you PMs." and that's why they haven't said anything to you yet. I'll mention @holydarkness, since he might be able to get them to respond here since he might have direct contact with their support.

You should share screenshots of the whole conversation you had with their support agents and not just one segment where they tell you that your account will be closed. Share everything where they probably explain the reason that they are closing your account. They have an ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.0) on Bitcointalk and their forum representative sportsbet.io (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=832366) replies in scam accusation threads when there is a need for it. If you think they weren't fair to you, please ask them to comment publicly.

I want to say that there is no need to write in their ANN and risk creating double-thread as I'll notify their rep, but... that boat already sailed.

Anyway, OP, what happened with those screenshots? Can we perhaps get a "better" version of their email reply to you? One that's not... uh, I'm not sure it's snipped with extreme precision or you copied that email and pasted it to a notepad and then screenshoted that notes or what.

The person who posted right above you, in case you missed the obvious, is one of Sportsbet's staff and he's trying to get to the bottom of it. Just to be sure, have you checked your inbox and see what he wrote to you?

Steve wrote he is looking into it. So when he says that you can believe it. Also, it's only been 30 hours since his reply here. Just wait until he replies here, there is no need to post in 4 hour intervals (it's also against forum rules).
I know waiting can be annoying but stressing about it won't speed up things, trust me. It doesn't change anything and it's also not good for your head. I have been in a similar situation with a different site, so I know what I am talking about.

You have got to practice a bit of patience and wait for a response from the customer support, since their representatives here have already promised to look into the issue. Giving them a daily or hourly reminders won't help and could also be nagging at times, thus they may ignore your other messages.

Sportsbet.io has a reputation to protect that they have built over the years, and I don't think they would try to scam you if you are innocent.

People! I think it’s full scam! Don’t use this site or you lost your money. I still don’t have answer from support.

I'm confused, do you not see the sportsbet.io's forum representative responding on this thread and saying that he would look into the issue you are experiencing? they might be doing some investigation and it's probably the reason why they are still not updating you regarding it. pretty sure they'd give you an answer once they are done with what they are doing.

Hi east_western4,

Ive spent some time with the relevant departments and they have informed me of the situation.

I have asked seveal questions and the answer they have supplied back leave me in a situation where I am able to reverse their decision.

The team are very confident of their information they have and they consider the case closed, and have informed you of this via email.
When a case is closed, it is normal that CS of any industry doesn't usually keep in email contact with a user about the closed matter. This is normal protocol and the reason why you may seem this to be ignoring you, but its not igorning you at all.

In total, the did confiscated $611.33 that they beleive was earned furing the Ts and Cs breach, however, they also let you withdraw the remaining amount of 1133.56 usdt.

Apologies for the delay on my response here.

regards,

Steve.

Sportsbet has high reputation and for only $611.33 it's very unlikely they will lie. So I will trust Sportsbet's decision but I think believe is not the right word to use. Decision needs to make based on 100% evidence.

If the OP posts his bets we will be able to determine if there was a reason to multi-account. Those that multi-account do so to circumvent limits or abuse bonuses. If the OP is betting all small markets and props, he may have more than one account. If he’s betting major markets at vanilla odds, there’s no reason to multi-account.

As far as I understand you must have violated their terms which may indicate you to close the account permanently. If they were a scammer and tried to scam your money then you would not be able to withdraw the amount that you have deposited and the sum is the two/third of the total amount on you account.
