First releases will have a spelling error on the reverse side. The die will be corrected on Monday and the remaining 90% Kennedy pieces won't have that error. These will be released at the end of next month.

we will laser the "A" off on Monday and proceed with minting with it spelled correctly. The average collector won't even notice it, but there will indeed be 2 die varieties.

Talks are being done to destroy all errors and start over with fresh pieces. I want to keep errors because they make collecting more entertaining with 2 die varieties. I will update when a decision as been made. Let me hear opinions.  I'm pushing to release everything.

I've got to say well done here! I made a post in the collectibles section asking for makers to make a Trump coin to commemorate the inaguration and you have surely delived my freind! I am suprised that more folks aren't hopping on board here.Also, keep the errors for sure. Errors are fun and highly collectible. post some examples of them while you're at it!  I can't wait to get mine in  8). These coins will age very well and I think way down the line they will be saught out by serious Trump fans, especially after the unfortunate day happens that Trump goes to be with our Lord and Savior! I love the verse incorporation on these and believe these are some of the only physical bitcoins in the world to cointain bible verses!

Thanks for the love! I think he is the first pro-crypto president, so just makes sense to encapsulate the topics of today in metal. We are going to keep the errors and just make more strikes with the corrected dies. These will be treasured silver and gold physical bitcoins for sure. The verses are to drop little truth seeds and to remind people who the real enemy is. I should have some decent photos soon! I'm a little behind.

I was wondering about the condition of the coins used for the overstrikes. Are the coins in mint/uncirculated condition? Maybe some are partially tarnished or—if circulated—have marks, black spots, etc.? Could you please elaborate?

Also, I was wondering how clear the overstrike will look on the coin. Does this depend on the original design of the coin used? For example, I saw those two photos that you posted (from the same angle), and on the first photo, the overstrike looks sharp, whereas on the second, it does not look so clear/sharp

Also, a short video illustrating the effect—looking straight at the coin and also from the left/right angle—would probably help a lot to comprehend.

Concerning the total mintage (if I understand this correctly), The “Kennedy” is unlimited (for 2025), and the others (Silver overstrikes, Seated Liberty, Barbers, Walkers, Franklin) are limited to a specific mintage number each?

The coins used are all over the place. I had some flawless mint state pieces used, all the way to circulated pieces from the 1800's on some. I didn't use a piece if it was too beat up and weighed less than 12.5 grams. No 40% Kennedy's were struck because the coins became hard and brittle after rimming. All coins had to be rimmed from 30.6mm down to 30mm to fit inside the reeded collar. Only 1 was struck on a 40% silver coin minted for Panama.

If you are wanting the clearest strike you should go with modern 999 silver. Its the softest metal and has little to no tarnishing. The darker/toned the previous coin the more you will see the depiction from the previous coins. If the coin is clean and white, the design will almost disappear with the Kingdom builder design over taking it. It just depends on what you want. Also, 999 silver presses better than 90% silver due to hardness and pressure of the strike used. All scuffs and scratches are pressed out flat and smooth. Metal flows to the place of least resistance. The difference from the pictures you posted are the purity of the metal and the age/ tarnish from the previous coin.

The coins are ran through a media to get rid of any oil or dirt from circulation that may have accumulated on the coin, so it won't clog up the die. I'm not sure if i can make you a video right now, but if you have a piece that easily shows the previous design and the Kingdom Builder design, You can usually see one better at different angles and lighting. The original coin is always pressed flat but can over shadow the Trump design based on how dark/toned the coin was before. Only dirt was removed, not tarnish.

They will all be pretty rare. Only 65 Kennedys were struck with the error dies as BF. Only 6 Kennedys were struck with the error dies as FF. Also I have most my coins dies made to say 202_ for the date. If only, 40 Kennedy's are sold during 2025, Then only 40 coins will be stamped 202 5. The mintage will be sealed. Then in 2026 i'll keep selling the Error strikes until gone. Then after the 70 are sold, I will have more struck using corrected dies and will finally retire/cancel the dies after 2029 to make dies for the decade of 2030's

Only 1 Seated liberty was struck with the error dies (Stolen), Only 3 Barbers were struck (2 stolen)
The Walkers are rare......Only 6 Walking liberties were struck and built as FF and only 32 built as BF using the error die. I will probably try to match the number minted with the corrected dies. Those numbers could be even lower if they don't all sell during 2025. I will have 2026 version too. I hope that makes sense for everyone. I try to date the pieces during the year they are used or sold.
Similar stats for Ben Franklin. Only 6 were built with the FF holos using the error dies and only 34 were built using BF holos with the error die.
999 Silver has only 10 pieces built as FF and 91 pieces struck as BF.


Edit: Only 65 90% Kennedy's were struck for buyer funded pieces, not 70. 5 were found to be 40% and were destroyed as the strike was very poor.

If I understand this correctly, "Only 70 Kennedys were struck with the error dies as BF"; hence, all the other Kennedys from now on through 2025 will be struck only with the corrected dies, correct?

Furthermore, I was wondering why you will keep using the error dies in 2026. I can clearly understand your decision to keep the already-produced error coins (it was an honest mistake, till the moment you discovered the error), but I was wondering why you will keep intentionally producing more error coins for the whole 2026 (or till 70 are sold)

Instead of "laser the "A" off" from the existing error die (ie fix the current die), you will create a new die with the correct spelling? I assume that the current error die cannot be fixed by laser and you have to produce a new one?

Yes, only a total of 71 Kennedy's were struck using the error die. No more will be made because the die no longer exist as seen from the pictures. The only reason a 2026 Kennedy error would exist is if these 71 don't sell within the year (2025). If any are still available by......say Feb 2026 I hand strike the date with a "6" instead of a "5". No more will be created though. This is actually good because it will make mintage numbers lower per year if they don't all sell out in 2025.

Someone sent 5x 1/2 oz gold pieces to make some new test strikes with the corrected die, but I ran into a new manufacturing issue, so new dies might need to be created after all. I'll keep the thread updated as a solution is found. I try to reduce cost if I can. If I can save the die by lasering it off I will. If it doesn't look good, a new die will be made. I should have everything figured out with the corrected dies by the end of next week and pictures will be posted as soon as I can provide them.

Remember, I do gold test strikes for all dies, so if you have a gold coin that is 15mm-17mm or 23mm-25mm in size, I can use those as overstrikes. I can also refine broken jewelry and other gold pieces into 999 gold. I would turn them into rare physical bitcoins die strikes after that or engrave them. I have many different styles and sizes to choose from.  I cap the mintages of test strikes. None have a mintage of over 10.
