There’s nothing remarkable about it, maybe most interesting topic is I don’t know any web development and have “written” it with Cline AI coding assistant by just prompting it, which has impressed me very much.

That's a nice site, I really like the concepto about pizzas, the "How many pizzas"  is fun. But the problem there is what price you are talking for 1 pizza, because It has some different prizes on different countries, for me 1 Pizza cost arround $5 dollars, but right now i'm on parís and yesterday paid 11€ for a Margatira. So, what's your pizza rate?

And as web developer I can say you make a great job, the responsive could be better, but isn't bad at all, great job.

I definitely thought about the pizza price problem. I think the country should not be a dimension here, in the end we are talking about THE pizzas that @laszlo received, that is, US prices, and Papa John's pizzas (don't remember exactly which ones but it's documented somewhere in the thread).

Since there's no public API providing historical pizza prices (that I'm aware of) I see two approaches:

1. Look for actual price of these exact two pizzas across the years, can be a little tricky to source that information, if someone has it I'm happy to take it.
2. Thake the exact USD amount that Jeremy Sturdivant paid for the pizzas and adjust that to inflation across the years. That's also not 100% accurate because assumes pizzas track 100% the Retail Price Index, which might not be the case.

I like the site appearance. I am surprised that AI can make such a beautiful site. Could AI also take care of the SEO?
How about if you create one or two pages, like home, pricing and aboutUs. This will engage activity in the site. For now, I didn't know what to do in the site rather than admire it.

I'm not surprised about that; most of the templates created nowadays are done by AI.   To us, it's pleasurable to the eye, but to the AI, it's just another pattern that gets it to it's goal.

Now the SEO question is interesting, not because of the example (Sitejet AI generates all my SEO), but to see how many things the AI can do.

Example:
Ask the AI to find a list of pizza websites that post prices.   See what you can get it to do with that data.
Ask the AI to create a membership system.  From there ask it what can be customized for each person (like their local pizza price)
See if the AI can handle currency conversion.

This would be a cool bitcoin project.  :)

This is exactly what I meant, if the Op integrates one or more of the above suggestions in the website, the project will have a good use case and it will make people visit frequently. Who knows if it could be very useful on the bitcoin pizza day.

I appreciate your work on making this, but there is one big thing missing from the website and that is actually photos of the famous Bitcoin pizzas and Laszlo Hanyecz ;)
It's cool that you posted a link to original forum topic created by Laszlo, but I would add a bit information and graphics.

I was wondering if the website is broken since it keeps showing "Calculating.." after minutes of waiting. Turns out my script blocker blocks the Coingecko API script/tracker that you use to show the current price. Maybe you can add an alternative price source for this? I believe some people will not bother to change their ads blocker or something similar if they can't view your website properly.

Would it be possible to add more functionality to the interactive chart? e.g. The ability to zoom in and out or highlight a certain period on the chart to also see the monthly maximums on those periods.
^{- In addition, it'd be nice to have a toggle button that reveals the number of past BitcoinPizza-related events on the chart.}

It isn't easy to code it'll take time but if interactive site's use AI to bring your examples to life it'll be cool. It's something ppl won't use on regular basis so maintaining it's going to be a hobby.

Thanks all for the great input. I've added a few improvements here and there. I've reworked the look and feel. You can now see the value of the 10k bitcoin in other typical bitcoiner meme-goods like lambos, etc.

I also added some "hidden" logic that will display a happy anniversary banner and some confetti every 22nd of May, so I don't have to update it every year.

I'll work in adding alternative price source so it doesn't get blocked to some people.
