I'm sure Portlanders have noticed many of the food carts around town using Square for credit/debit transactions. The article says square pays them with USD after receiving the Bitcoin transaction; I can't really see any reason why the food carts would refuse Bitcoin payment. this is like someone saying they can use bitcoins on ebay (because they are the same company) then people getting confused that any bricks and mortar store with a paypal logo also accept it.. i am wondering when people will start reading properly and not exaggerate the news Title: Re: Portland Bitcoiners: Try Paying Food Carts with Bitcoins!
