Title: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Post by: Joy- maker on February 26, 2025, 12:45:09 PM Normally me I don't like trading bitcoin, yeah I know there are some benefits and profit making when a trader make correct decisions and react to the price Volatility while trading.
But come to think of it why we someone who have seen bitcoin proving itself to be a store of value with potential returns, we still choose to be trading bitcoin rather than accumulating bitcoin and hold for a long period of time. Bitcoin trading is something at everyone is suppose to avoid, forget about the phrase that's says bitcoin trading is high risk, high rewards, trading bitcoin can damage you emotionally and financially. As am currently speaking now the person who introduced me in to bitcoin is a trader, that have been damaged emotionally and financially all because he was trading bitcoin, now all the money he made from the trading has gone back to the market, and now his a deptor all in the name of trying to make quick money from bitcoin trading. I Have never seeing anyone who said, I made huge amount of money from trading bitcoin, the testimonies I always see or hear is see the amount of money I made from my bitcoin investment. Post this on bitcoin discussion next time. You can move this thread to trading discussion.
Trading generally is risky. Be it bitcoin, crypto, forex, stocks, commodity and others. They are all very risky. It makes traders think of leverage and can lead to loss of money. Although, there are some people but are not many that trade like professionals that make money from it. Holding is better if you enter the market at the right time. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Post by: bittraffic on February 26, 2025, 01:15:56 PM Not everyone can trade that's for sure. So if its not for you, the option is to just stop. Your friend just don't know hen to stop and if has this characteristics, he better learn something in trading every time he loses because that's what needs. There is time to stop and there's time to go on. Learning not to commit same mistakes in trading will be good for him. If he didn't learn something out of loss then that is a good sign to stop. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Post by: kingvirtus09 on February 26, 2025, 01:34:20 PM Not all bitcoin communities in this field are doing trading activity in btc pairs., now if you are a beginner, do not trade bitcoin in futures or derivative trading
because for sure you will be liquidated quickly. Now, apart from what you said, I think it is not right for you to say to avoid trading bitcoin because if it were me, I would prefer to trade bitcoin in spot and futures. But if it were altcoins, I would prefer to trade only in spot and not in futures. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Trading Bitcoin is my biggest mistake ever.I lost my bitcoin by trading and your trading loss will be bigger and happen faster if you use margin or futures. The advice is very common, don't trade and you won't lose your bitcoin. Purchase bitcoin, and hold it, you firstly won't lose your bitcoin, and secondly will get good profit. Another practice with bitcoin is trading it with altcoins, and this bitcoin vs altcoins trading will cause you bigger loss. Another advice is avoid it as much as you can too. This type of scenario about trader is no way new to me because almost 99% of traders burning their money as trading may give you some hope about making money but it will keep on giving you hopes but never multiplying your money. For every trader, protecting their capital itself a big task which means negative growth of your money is the only result, almost every trader is facing.Although, there are some people but are not many that trade like professionals that make money from it. It is a myth in my experience. Yeah, even professional traders may lose all their capital against the volatility of the markets. Out of your experience, you may gain some profits but there will be no guarantee for not losing all your profits in your very next trade. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? You have to trade the spot market so you can keep learning if you really want to trade. You can trade different Bitcoin pairs depending on your exposure in the market. There are many people in the market who choose to trade Bitcoin instead of HODLing, and end up losing money and suffering. In this business, it's important to remember that you have a handbrake—you can stop at any moment, and thus lose less than you might have otherwise. I don't envy your friend and hope everything works out for him. But to be able to trade, sometimes it's not enough to have all the knowledge; the emotional aspect, like "knowing when to stop," is also important. And of course, it's crucial to remember not to go all-in and trade only with money you're not afraid to lose Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Take it or leave it there will always be successful trader in Bitcoin. If you tried Bitcoin trading and you are not successful that is your business to mind. You cant tell people what they should do with their Bitcoin. Before going into trading they already know the risk involved. And who told you many people still dont lose while holding Bitcoin. Just so know that there is no perfect way to go about our Bitcoin, we just need to apply what we learn properly in every strategy will choose.

The advantage can be fast but so is the loss if it is in trade, look at the large traders of their institutions do not do trade every day, there are some of those who trade for a long time to ensure momentum and exit quickly when they get profits, if they do not understand trade better just invest in Bitcoin, it is much better. It's very questionable and doubtful when you start as a trader because of many things. Lack of enough knowledge about the market, fundamental and technical analysis technique, and experience, so you are uncertain about what you can do, whether you can trade well and profitable in this market. It's challenging to decide trading or not, but after a while you will realize that trading is not for everyone and truly difficult, and more big fact most traders fail.Quote invesitng in bitcoin does make a lot of sense in the long run. you're spared of the tiring process of watching the market will retaining good returns, but as I mentioned earlier, it depends on your capital, you bought 1 BTC your waiting will be worth it, you bought $100 of BTC you're just wasting your time for $20 bucks gain. There are people who have made a career out of trading Bitcoin, so trading is not generally bad. We should understand that trading is a skill and a skill is learnt and mastered over time. Most people believe trading is simply just buying at a lower price and selling at a higher price to make a profit, but it's more complicated than that. Trading is a risky business and you'll definitely lose some money, but if you study and keep gathering experience you might be good at it and make more profit than losses. To be fair, I do not like "trading it" neither that commonly, I like investing into it and hold it, but sometimes I trade it as well, it makes me some good money and I do it because of the money to begin with, we do not trade or invest into bitcoin because it's fun, we do it because it's making us money.
If you do not make money with it, then you should learn to be better and make money that way, it would make a lot more sense and it would give you a good return. I am pretty sure that we are going to end up with a good income if I know what I am doing and that is why I am not worried about it and I do whatever I want. Because you haven’t heard about people making huge money from bitcoin investment, that doesn’t mean that people don’t. People have made a lot of money through trading of bitcoin and that where all gotten through risks that an investor cannot take. The effect of it haven been emotionally and financially draining is what you have to pass through before making it as a trader. The fact is that not many people trading are profitable, the vast majority of them are not profitable and give up in the end. Bitcoin investment is less risky and that has made people face less risk, less emotion as to being a bitcoin trader that is more exhausting and harder to achieve success from it. The fascinating part of trading is that, once you’ve made it as a profitable trader, you’ve made it already in life and not even a bitcoin investor can brag much on you about their holding. It is risky and not advisable to start as a newbie if you’re not ready emotionally and financially for it. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Long term holders or investments are indeed more profitable in bitcoin, compared to trading, and not everyone understands this or agrees with the fact, because basically many traders do not trade with Bitcoin - fiat pairs only, they also trade Bitcoin vs altcoin pairs which if lucky enough can provide quite large profits, and that is the target, for those who like things that are calmer and for the long term, buying Bitcoin and continuing to collect it is the best choice. Why should everyone avoid trading bitcoin all because they don't want to be disturbed emotionally, no one plus forcing anybody into trading, you're using your own personal hard earned money to trade at your own risk, if you know about bitcoin, then trade it, if you can't trade, invest in it, same applies to any other coin we are considering, we need to have an idea about anything we are going for before starting to minimize the risk. Don't be so capsulated by wrong impressions concerning trading bitcoin, I will tell you this frankly that bitcoin trading is the best ever to enjoy doing, because you're rest assured of getting to the close result of what you have speculated for , unlike other altcoins that you don't know their bearings, the more you trade the higher their risk, they only promise high returns, but we would have forgotten about the high risk involved also, try and trade anything without the knowledge of doing it, you will definitely fail, same applies to those that think bitcoin trading it not profitable, it's either they are inexperienced or they are running after making quick money from trading altcoins. We may have often heard those words because most investors are just bold enough to tell the truth and have a way of encouraging people to invest as well. But generally, using Bitcoin, either for trading or investing, gives us a profit. And the question is, which way is more profitable? It will depend on the one who does it. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Post by: Zigabel on March 05, 2025, 04:15:55 PM I will pay attention to the point where you mentioned that he was trading to make quick money, making quick money shouldn't be the reason you ever go into trading, if you are so desperate or see trading as an alleviation scheme for a lean wallet, then you may suffer things such as the financial and emotional damage you have mentioned, don't trading with such mindset as that alone in its self is a failed mindset already.
If you wannt to go into Bitcoin trading, you should consider it as a business one in which you are in for the long term, that way you are going to have the emotional tolerance for the long run, because as a business you use a different approach away from the mindset you will use when you are trading to get some money to offset a debt or trying to get rich quick within a very short period of time. Trading bitcoin is not what you should be thinking of venturing into as a newbie, they should focus more on investing in bitcoin rather than just looking to make quick money from Bitcoin which in the real sense, bitcoin investment is not of such. Trading is another skill one can have in the crypto world than can make you money but although much risky than just holding on to bitcoin and watching your portfolio grows. It's because don't understand when to buy and when to take profit that makes them play safe by not trading it. No, he wasn't damaged "emotionally" or financially like you said because he traded Bitcoin. He was negatively affected because he lacked the proper set skills for trading. If there were no traders, I wonder how you would get to transact from BTC to a trading pair or your local Fiat, if need be. Afterall, what is the essence of P2P system if it ain't to solve trading needs. The issue with trading BTC is that the returns may be lower than altcoins with higher risk and as it is more used as a hedge against inflation and that's one reason it's pegged to the dollar. The best way to make the best profit from BTC is not to trade it as a newbie trader or even per time or short term. It is to hold it. Accumulate as much BTC as you can for a long period because the price is sure going to get higher and then you can diversify when necessary to trade altcoins quickly when they pump. This is why I take breaks from it, I try to keep it as realistic as possible and if I start to feel like a terrible situation, then I try to avoid it and give a break.
Sometimes, after the break, I feel as if it's a good thing and I can't really seem to have some bigger issues, it just doesn't really feel like it's not a big deal, but at the end of the day it's not really that complicated to feel like you want a break and not complicated to feel like you missed it after the break. To be fair, I do not like "trading it" neither that commonly, I like investing into it and hold it, but sometimes I trade it as well, it makes me some good money and I do it because of the money to begin with, we do not trade or invest into bitcoin because it's fun, we do it because it's making us money. my advice is that when you have not understand the basics of trading, I don't think it's quite right to venture into trading when you don't know risk management, and you also don't know when to enter market and when to leave the market, so therefore, many people has lost their funds in trading due to lack of understanding the advantages of trading and disadvantages of tradingIf you do not make money with it, then you should learn to be better and make money that way, it would make a lot more sense and it would give you a good return. I am pretty sure that we are going to end up with a good income if I know what I am doing and that is why I am not worried about it and I do whatever I want. So my advice is in accordance of what you said, if you have not acquire the full skills of trading, it's better for the person who has not understand the nature of trading to crypto investment, so trading is very skilful, because you most know the positive effects and positive effects of it before you venture into it. I mean if Bitcoin is used as a traded coin, then that is momentary in the sense of the benefits gained based on the amount traded. For example, I trade Bitcoin at the purchase price of $90,000 and will sell in the price of $ 100,000, then I will get a profit of $10,000 if the duration of the increase for 3 months. Means that in 3 months I only got that amount. If I make Bitcoin as an investment of a minimum duration of 4 years, then I have the opportunity to get a greater profit if for 4 years I routinely buy with the ability of the money I have. The beauty of Bitcoin trading, and really any tradable asset, is that it is not a singular event. You could, after that successful $10,000 trade, immediately reinvest. You could use that profit, plus maybe some more, to buy again when the price dips. You could do this multiple times within those four years you mentioned. This is, in fact, how professional traders make money. Each successful trade, even if smaller, adds up. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Post by: SmartGold01 on March 09, 2025, 11:12:45 PM Bitcoin trading is something at everyone is suppose to avoid, forget about the phrase that's says bitcoin trading is high risk, high rewards, trading bitcoin can damage you emotionally and financially. As am currently speaking now the person who introduced me in to bitcoin is a trader, that have been damaged emotionally and financially all because he was trading bitcoin, now all the money he made from the trading has gone back to the market, and now his a deptor all in the name of trying to make quick money from bitcoin trading. No, it was not about using Bitcoin for trading, nor was he to blame for it. The reason why he loses and turns into a debtor is because of his ineffective trading strategy. A lot of traders use the same coin (bitcoin), and many of them make some profit. Therefore, it was not the coins we used, but it is a trader's approach, and they could lose if they don't make it right. There are a lot of people who tried trading, but many of them failed. Unfortunately, that person is one among those traders who fail.Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Post by: Oluwa-btc on March 30, 2025, 06:06:16 PM Trading is definitely risky, not everyone can make profit from trading, but professional traders can make good profit from trading, but professional traders also face losses. So you may face losses if you trade as a newbie. If interested in trading, start with small amount. Now it is more profitable to hold long term than to trade in Bitcoin. Now that you have got an idea about Bitcoin from a trader, maybe he gave you an idea about trading. Now trading is not for everyone, but investing is for everyone. So my suggestion for you is, you buy bitcoin and hold long term, if you hold long term, you don't lose money. Trading and investing have different approaches and goals but they're two popular ways to gainr financial stability and make real money.Overtime, trading Bitcoin is highly recommended and lucrative but due to significant losses that have emerged, certain changes have also lead to the Bitcoin trading accessible allowing traders to partake in the global market changes. Trading Bitcoin can be profitable and can also be disturbing for those good traders out there that don't know how to stay focused and been taken away by the greed of making huge profits from the market without and research or analysis. While traders can boast their trades but it is the obvious that not all of them have better days compared to investing. Choose what you will be settled for the rest of your lives, invest and after earning a lot, play with trading and learn it. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Post by: Ziskinberg on March 31, 2025, 10:31:29 AM No trader would claim that he made massive profits out from bitcoin that’s because they don’t do it for public bragging, but they trade secretly and make successful trades. But let’s be realistic, not all traders are bound to succeed and make massive income, some are just good at start and eventually losing their enthusiasm with trading simply because they can’t bear the losses that trading brings. And I don’t see any wrong with that. Traders can just settle into hodling their bitcoin, yet they still made profits equivalent from trading, or even bigger.

Simple and easy to understand - imo. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Those people who claim they made massive profits out from Bitcoin trading should be questioned because those who really succeed from trading will not tell their success story to public and keep that story for themselves and their closest people.Yes, we know that not many traders are succeed from trading but loss their money from trading. Those people who lost in trading finally gave up from trading and left it because they thought that they could not trade better and make a profit. And those who claim their success story from trading will give offers to their follower to join with them to achieve success too. This make new people join because they think that they can succeed too. Those who claim their success make money from their program and not from trading. Those traders are likely looking into the market through futures mostly for Bitcoin and if they do spot, they'd choose to keep BTC and will go for altcoins. Title: Re: What do we think about trading bitcoin? Post by: Zanab247 on March 31, 2025, 04:03:50 PM BTC trading is not favouring you doesn't mean is not good to trade BTC, you can see the majority of traders chosen BTC out of other cryptocurrencies to trade, because it has a high risk and a high rewards to those that chose BTC trading. There are some strategies you will involve in BTC trading, you will not complain with the profit that will come out from the trading because you know you are using small amount of money to trade BTC.
Sometimes, the amount of money you are using to buy coins may be the reason why you are not making big profits from your trading, because there is no way you will use small amount of money to buy coins and trade at the moment to expect big profits from the market. |
