Title: Re: Buy a domain with crypto Post by: Tele_SOS on March 04, 2025, 08:04:14 PM I’ve been using fastdomainbot on Telegram for two years now. They don’t require any ID or personal details, and they accept crypto payments. It’s been reliable, never had any problems.

Looking for a service that accepts crypto payments and doesn’t require too much personal info. Any recommendations? Namecheap.com, Yohost.org, Porkbun.com. All these have been accepting crypto for quite a while now, though Yohost is mostly a hosting provider that happens to also offer domains. Yohost also accepts payments via Lightning Network, if that's of interest. Namecheap probably has the largest selection and some of the best prices of these. Some personal info is required by all of them, but that's something ICANN generally requires from domain owners. They don't require anything like personal documents though, I think none of the registrars and domain resellers do. There are many services that accept the purchase of a domain in bitcoin, all you can do is to know how you can locate one, some examples have already been given to you, now left to you to explore on them, check to see if they are active, still accepting bitcoin payment and can offer you the same required service you wanted, don't also forget to check on their online reviews to know more better before using them. I have a link as well to give, this comprises of other places you can spend Bitcoin, it may also be useful. where to spend bitcoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5467964.msg62902489#msg62902489 Title: Re: Buy a domain with crypto Post by: MusaMohamed on March 05, 2025, 11:59:40 AM Where can I buy a domain with Bitcoin? (https://kycnot.me/?t=service) Private Web Server Hosting & Domain Provider. (https://www.privacytools.io/private-hosting) You will have more options if you don't care about KYC, but your request is like non KYC services, and I believe with above recommendations you will have enough good options. Title: Re: Buy a domain with crypto Post by: CryptSafe on March 05, 2025, 01:53:59 PM I found a website where a list of 10 crypto domain name providers here (https://droomdroom.com/top-10-crypto-domain-name-providers/#:~:text=Handshake%20makes%20use%20of%20a,to%20traditional%20domain%20registration%20methods.). Maybe you could check it out for yourself and see the one that best suits your interest.
You can also make use of this section of the platform which is the service board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0) for your request and also get more responses from members and from there you could have many more options and feel free to choose from them the one that best sits your criteria or interests. Looking for a service that accepts crypto payments and doesn’t require too much personal info. Any recommendations? Yes there are many services you can use to buy domains with crypto without asking any personal information.Njal.la is one of the better options based in Sweden, and they are accepting payments in bitcoin, monero and other coins. Second available option is Flokinet.is, they are based in Iceland and they exist since 2012 and they have good reputation. I am sure there are a bunch of other services that can be found on the net, but I recommend to always read terms before purchasing anything. I have been using Namecheap for crypto payments. You can get domain hosting for anything you want from Namecheap through Bitcoin payment. It's one of the top domain hosting providers also and trusted as well. Still now I hadn't faced any issues with them. You don't need to verify KYC or something else. You can use their guard to protect your privacy; it's free from Namecheap if you buy a domain from them. You don't need to reveal any of your real identity.

I am fine with that also and this is acceptable compromise, but they are probably charging a bit higher fees for this reason, compared to mainstream domain services. They are also offering VPN services but I never tried it, and I think Mullvad VPN is much better for this purpose. But I'm locked in now, so it's €30 per year. Title: Re: Buy a domain with crypto Post by: robelneo on March 08, 2025, 04:44:19 PM Where can I buy a domain with Bitcoin? Looking for a service that accepts crypto payments and doesn’t require too much personal info. Any recommendations? Even though there is personal info to fill up, I still recommend Namecheap; they will not ask you to provide your personal details; you have the choice to do so. When it comes to features, Namecheap has all the tools and apps that you need to successfully launch a website. You can buy Bitcoin through Bitpay and other cryptocurrencies as well. I maintain that when it comes to domain registration, its important that you have the correct information submitted so, in case of a breach, you can always reclaim your account with your first submitted info. And besides ICANN, the domain-regulating authority required all domain owners to supply their correct information. But I'm locked in now, so it's €30 per year. That sounds like a rip-off. What TLD is this? If it's something like .io or .design then it makes sense, but for a .com domain then it's daylight robbery. I had always thought that njalla buy their domains from Tucows, another registrar. They once applied to become a tier-1 registrar who can issue domains (whatever that is), but ICANN rejected their application because their founder (Peter Sunde) used to be associated with the Pirate Bay. Yes, if they ask for the personal info of the domain owner, then it is an obligation. With most registrars, it is possible to enter false information, but in the case of a check, this can be considered a criminal offense.Title: Re: Buy a domain with crypto Post by: PX-Z on March 10, 2025, 04:57:17 PM You can buy Bitcoin through Bitpay and other cryptocurrencies as well. I may be off topic, but for the benefit of those who do not have an account on Namecheap and had no idea how to buy a domain, you need to fund your account first. Honestly, any domain registrar can be vulnerable to this; the difference is that some have stricter policies against fraud. They have their own implementation of crypto payments, which is a bit "basic" and looks a bit dodgy, but it so far it has always worked for me. I have also been using Namesilo for many years. Due to the registration of some .eu domains, I had to provide my data or the data of the client in whose name I registered them. Later, some users confirmed that they managed to register the domain through Namesilo without providing any personal data. I think bitmover can confirm that too. If I remember correctly, he also registered his domain without KYC there. However, since January of this year, Namesilo has also significantly raised the prices of renewal domains, so considering that I have a large number of domains on them, I am slowly moving them to a cheaper registry. The price difference is almost -50% Title: Re: Buy a domain with crypto Post by: coin-investor on March 20, 2025, 04:54:09 PM However, since January of this year, Namesilo has also significantly raised the prices of renewal domains, so considering that I have a large number of domains on them, I am slowly moving them to a cheaper registry. The price difference is almost -50% I think they are following the lead of Namecheap; they offer up to 70% on domains, and then when you renew it, they increase the price to 200% or even more; this is the catch, so you will prefer to buy on their platform. Good strategy indeed. I got a TLD domain last year for $3 in their sales and renews it yearly for $15. I have to look for a renewal code to lower the price, but its not really the price but the kind of support Namecheap is giving to their clients; they have one of the best support in the industry. Yeah, I know, let's encrypt, but its validity is only 90 days; you have to renew it after 90 days, and you need domain validation, which is a hassle to do, compared to a paid one, which offers a one-year validity. And letsencrypt does not offer 24/7 support, so if there's an issue, you need to fix it yourself. Between the pros and cons of using a free one and a paid one, I prefer a paid one.
