Looks like we’re seeing some positive signs in the crypto market! Even though February was uncertain and filled with red candles but it seems people are still eager to get started with crypto.  

Cryptodeep just shared some data on the most downloaded exchange apps, and the numbers are pretty interesting:

Top 3 most downloaded crypto apps:  
📌 Binance – 4.83M downloads  
📌 OKX – 2.47M downloads  
📌 Bitget – 1.57M downloads  

Not too surprising, right? These platforms are growing fast. Did your favorite exchange make the list?

Hmmm binance use to be my favourite CEX back then not until the country government had troubles with them which both couldn't come to a compromise and right now the binance app is restricted for use after the authority made them delisted Naira P2P trading. They use to have one of the best services for a CEX. OkX too was met with similar fate as binance but they were both nice platforms as at then.

Bitget making the third position came as a surprise to me but then I think their position was as a result of their association with some of these telegram tap to earn tokens which required bitget as one of the exchange platform participants can use to receive their rewards. The  list seems fair enough.

I remember that time it happened. It went from being my favourite to me just not having any feeling about them. During their hay days, they were the go-to platform for any beginner that wants to get into crypto. The first exchange they will download. After the incidence, they became less popular. Even OKX did the same thing with Binance. Bitget is there but bybit has become my favourite. If this ranking is to be done by countries, Bybit will be the top downloaded exchange in my country.

Why this on speculation board? You can move it to exchanges or any other board related to the discussion.

MEXC is among which is not yet a KYC exchange. I will prefer it over other exchanges because they are all KYC exchanges.

Binance is the first. Not a surprise but I think there should be a better competition than Binance to always be at the top. It is not very good than other exchanges mentioned.

What's not surprising is that Binance is still the leading exchange. That's more or less expected. What's surprising is that your exchange made it to the top 3.

But, well, that's only insofar as CryptoRank is concerned. That's always the reference you BG shills are using. So, no surprise there either. If you start taking other sources into consideration, your exchange won't likely make it to the top 3.

We cannot verify the accuracy of these statistics, but they certainly do not indicate that BG's growth is healthy if they continue with such spam.

This parameter means almost nothing. Do these statistics include that all these downloads are by new users, or is there a significant percentage of those who have already used it, and for some reason, such as changing devices, download the application again?

I remember Binance NGN P2P..I was a merchant and made some good money there..sad it's gone, but tbh the closest one I've seen is Bitget( Good rate and minimal delay). It shouldn't be a surprise if you look at accessibility and some functions.. cos I believe they're more accessible and available to a lot of crypto users worldwide hence their popularity.

The data source is from sensor tower you can Google them or here. https://x.com/Crypto_Dep/status/1901948311055065296. It's an open discussion so I don't see the reason why you're focused on one. If you don't use the exchange doesn't mean their growth isn't healthy mate..

No, I don't really use big centralized exchanges and I certainly wouldn't use them using smartphone app.
Number of downloaded apps can be deceiving and that doesn't mean that all who downloaded are automatically creating accounts.
And all those listed exchange apps have similar order like on Coingecko website, so no big surprise here.

As far as I'm aware, Sensor Tower data comes from their monitoring apps and people who submit data to them, which they call panelists. I'm not sure how the tracking is done that allows them to convert the data to real-time downloads, but it's clear that all of them are estimates. This site is quite popular in the gacha gaming community for being wildly inaccurate because people use their data and make up some imaginary numbers to multiply the revenue of games across some timeframe. I don't think it's reliable.

It looks like all of your team's efforts are reflected in that stat, so I congratulate you. While I want to think that it's not a good sign of the market being positive that's just one factor to add that I cannot deny. People might look at the number of prices and not with these registrations but with every bull run, we're having more users so this is a good sign. AFAIK, bybit is the 2nd to the most known and most downloaded so that hack on them really impacted them a lot and people are avoiding them.
