Title: Investment or Trade
Post by: Gost ms on March 22, 2025, 05:29:48 PM
Are you willing to invest or are you willing to trade

Let's start with trading first. Getting rich in a short time by trading is not a scam. For example, you can get rich in a very short time by trading if you have sufficient knowledge and experience. There are many risks in trading. Just as you can get rich in a short time by trading, you can also become a beggar. In trading, you need experience and sufficient knowledge. Many people can gain that amount of experience and knowledge in 1 year, while many are not able to gain experience and knowledge in 4 to 5 years.

You do not need much knowledge and experience to invest. For example, if you have basic knowledge about Bitcoin and basic knowledge about the investment process, you can invest. The risk in investing is much lower than trading. Patience is needed to invest. Those who do not have patience get out of investing within a few days. When investing, you need to keep a long-term goal, such as keeping an investment period of 2 to 3 circles.

In this case, as a newbie, which one would you prefer, trading or investing?

as a newbie who is new to cryptocurrency it is always advisable to approach the crypto space by investing, not just by investing in any coin, but by investing in bitcoin, because bitcoin is secured base on it discentralized nature and it is a store of value with potential returns, bitcoin can give you massive profits if you hold it for a long period of time 4 to 10 years.

But Trading in the crypto space as a newbie will cause you more damage and loose than profits, because trading requires more knowledge and experience for you to be good on it.

As a newbie  who is new to cryptocurrency start by investing on bitcoin for that is the best way to approach cryptocurrency as a newbie I myself also did it as a newbie and am still doing it.

Investment and that should be in bitcoin not shit coin that you suddenly wake up to see your wallet dropped to annoying level. One thing with investing in shit project is that you don't have guarantee of recovery but with Bitcoin you can be certain that if you hodl till next bull, your capital you will regain and probably make some profit.

Trading is risky. You can keep losing in 10 years.

I will go for investment rather than trading because investment is something that doesn't require much of your time and not not forgetting that it doesn't need much of knowledge to start because when it comes to trading it involves you having a broad knowledge base of technical analysis and the market movement, All that you need to to do is to make sure that you follow up on your investment and know when the price is ripe for the investment to bring back return on investment.

Trading has really cost people alot of money due to the fact that they where not well equipped to trading and so they lose their money but I can't say so of investment because investment doesn't really necessarily need much of your knowledge plus investments is safer to handle than trading because in investment all you need is to watch out for the market forces that controls your investment and if the indicators is right it will trigger a rise in price which you will sell and make gain

You may be overly gullible about trading and your statement seems a bit confused. You said in one sentence that it is possible to get rich quickly from trading and in another sentence that you need skills and experience to get rich from trading. So how is it possible to become a skilled and experienced trader quickly? I accept that you are a talented and quick learner, but experience does not come with talent. Even to become an experienced and skilled trader, you must have the ability to lose money and be prepared to lose money during the learning process. Even after becoming an experienced trader, trading is not a get rich quick scheme. Money will come from trading and you will lose, at some point you will make a lot of money and you will also lose. After all, after calculating, you may see that what you have earned from trading is nothing special. Trading is very risky and is not a get rich quick scheme.

I agree with you in terms of investment. In long-term investment, your money is at less risk than trading and the chances of profiting from investment in the long term are very high. So I would definitely prefer investing and encourage others to get into investing rather than trading.

In this case your choice pick will be  influenced by somethings,  you will not just jump into trading because it promises quick funds than investment, the depending on what you hope to achieve,  both involvement can get you rich depending on how you handle them.

If you are going to choose trading,  you should be aware of the risk involved and the advantages too, never see to it that you want to think that you will only make profits,  you will make losses too and may even stand the risk of loosing all of your money so if you want to rather be safer, investment is always the best choice especially as a newbie,  even in investment, there's long term and also short term investments, so it doesn't necessarily have to be the long term in oder for you to make profits and that is why I always advice investment for newbies but if you must go into trading instead,  make sure to braces up with so much knowledge and you are definitely going profits too.

This is not a matter of chosen the best option for a newbie. All newbies should avoid trading as it is very risky and can easily make them lose interest in bitcoin when they don’t get what they expect within a period of time they’ve made up their mind to see the success in it. It is no more a thing of surprise that some people come to trading and leave earlier because of the difficulty in it and yet very rewarding and can make them huge amount of returns when they get to understand the market concept of it. A newbie can start up with bitcoin investment before they will think of diversifying into trading which is another profitable sector of the crypto industry.

Choosing your preference as a newbie or a beginner in crypto must be based on your interest. Because both the investment and the trading require you to have patience before you can even join crypto for the first time, because for you to start trading or investing in crypto, you will have to consider your goal, risk management, tolerance, and also knowledge. Because you will have to face more than you expected in the crypto world, as you can’t get rich just by joining crypto or by investing in bitcoin or trading. As it's not a get-rich scheme, you will have to sacrifice not only your money but also your time and dedication.

Newbie or experienced is not a major issue. Basically, you have to think about what you need first. If you need urgent money, you can earn money from trading. But to trade, you have to learn trading in the right way first. There are many scams on social media who present trading in a very easy way. But later on, when we learn, we realize that it is not that easy. There are many small things that if you do not pay attention to, you will be harmed.

On the other hand, investment is a long-term system. By this, you can own an asset, but it takes time. Investment does not grow easily until a certain time.

So in my opinion, you should work according to your needs. If you need investment, invest. And if you have to learn trading, learn trading.

I will choose investment against trading any day. On a serious note there is no way anyone can choose trading over investment unless they are financially buoyant. At the same time, there are still people who are rich that prefer investment over trading. One thing in trading that makes a lot of persons who has interest in it dont start it is because of the risk associated with it. You cannot go into trading without losing money and profiting on a daily basis. Most people cannot withstand the emotional trauma.

For me investment is more important than Trading. But if anyone chooses trading over investing then it's up to the person. I will only advice that a newbie who is new to Bitcoin should completely stay away from trading rather invest in Bitcoin because as easy as trading may sound so it is very difficult to achieve from it. Trading is just like Nollywood movies where everything you watch seems to be true but different In reality. A newbie should just begin to invest as little as they can then after meeting up some certain demand then they can use %10 of their discretion to try trading but that will not be from the initial stage.

Trading is actually not a bad approach to making wealth but most of the people we have around tends to start trading with very shallow knowledge on how the market operate and how to utilize  risk management in before placing any order. People make millions, even billions  from trading, because they invested so much in knowledge rather than assuming and gambling with their funds. But that is for those who have invested their time and efforts to study how to control their emotions for a newbie it's  best to start their crypto journey by investing in bitcoin and after awhile of studying the market if they feel like diversifying then they can put in very little fraction( what they can afford to loss) into other projects.

I always want to invest, I am not ready for trading at all. I am investing slowly in Bitcoin and trying to hold this investment in a long-term plan. I have no knowledge about trading and I do not have enough experience. If I had enough knowledge and experience about trading, I would have done some trading. Since I have no knowledge about trading, if I go to trade on any trading platform, I can lose my money at any time. If I lose my hard-earned money, I will be very hurt because I worked hard to earn it. I have also learned that investing does not have to be as risky as trading if I can protect my wallet.

It's traditional for beginners to have high profits in a short period of time as I was in the same situation. In my opinion the method you choose to enter the cryptocurrency market should be a positive investment for you since you are a beginner. By injecting small amounts of funds. You should not make any business decisions on impulse and should refrain from making lump sum investments. Over time you will be able to understand which method is right for you.

One thing people need to realize is that trading isn't for everybody, just like you said there are people that can acquire knowledge on trading in a year and they might see positive results just after one year of learning while others might take 4 to 5 years, the pace is different but there are some that would lose constantly despite the efforts they put in, you just have to know what works for you...if you are thinking about making an investment there are lots of options you can dive into, it's not as complicated as trading, most investments don't require any knowledge or skills, it just requires consistency, patience and having a capital to start.

When you think that it's easy to get rich quick in trading, that's the beginning of your downfall in the crypto space as a newbie. Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme and you need to put that at the back of your mind, so that you don't fall a victim to losses by starting your crypto journey in the wrong direction. Bitcoin is unique and is a long-term investment, whereby you buy bitcoin from time to time, and hodli for a long time to reduce the risk in her volatile nature.

Nice explanation of both trading and investment in cryptocurrency most especially bitcoin, the fact that risks exist in both and also that one can lose or profits higher in one than the other also make trading a bit different from investment.

We can simply put that cryptocurrency investment comes with lower risks compared to trading but then one can profits higher in trading in the short term compared to investment which profits come on a long term base.

I may not completely agree with that trading is not for everyone because it's a matter of you being willing to learn how to trade because to me there is no time that is too late for anyone to learn because in every day of our life's we learn, we should always be ready to learn new things that will be of benefit to us as a people especially the once that adds value to us.

One thing that makes to be afraid of trading is it's high rate of volatility which will need high level of expertise to handle, trading is something that people should not rush in because the tendency of you lossing money when you don't have sufficient knowledge is high but i think that this is what everyone can do if they are willing to learn anything improve their self

Your conversation sounds a little confusing because even having experience and sufficient knowledge cannot guarantee that you will become rich from trading in a short time. In reality I approach investing and trade in the same way. However if someone enters the cryptocurrency, the advisory sentence for him is that start investment instead of trading. It doesn't take long for investment to start, and it does not require a lot of money and a lot of knowledge.
Adequate knowledge and experience is the first thing you need to do to trade. The reason I combine investing and trading is because my previous experience is involved. However if the investment and trading can be compared then it becomes clear that the investment is the most safe and there is no pressure connected here.

Bitcoin is an asset that I think everyone should collect. Because it is very important for a person to have at least one asset in their life. And we all know that Bitcoin is a digital asset. Its decentralized system makes us reliable. Although there are many coins in cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is more reliable because its market is always growing. You just have to remember that Bitcoin temporarily lowers its price. So that new investors can start investing very easily.

It is important to make decisions according to the amount of risk a person is able to take. Because taking more risk than they can afford in financial matters can lead to big disasters. There are many people who become interested in trading after seeing other people's trading and profits, but they do not see the risks involved. They think that they can make profits by trading, but the reality is not that simple. They start trading without risk management to make money quickly, who only think about profits, but never think about risks, and this type of trading only causes them financial losses. First of all, they have not learned trading completely, and secondly, they do not think about risks, due to such activities they will definitely face losses. So you have to think about risk management first, because making any decision without risk management will definitely cause big losses. So you have to do research first, and you have to trade or invest according to your risk-taking ability and capacity.

Yes your right the risk of trading is much more to be compared with the risk of investment. But when it comes to trading as long as you have the skill and the knowledge, you can start with a very small capital, but when it comes to investment you have to get a standard capital in order for you to get a standard result, me personally i will choose to go for trading because it does not only deal on making money but it also helps in building your personality, discipline, patients E.T.C. But every one has a particular field that motivates them it all depends on what they are willing to risk

As a newbie, I will definitely ignore trading. Those who are new do not know much about the market. They cannot immediately increase their attention to when the market may be bullish or bearish, when it is necessary to buy or when it is likely to be profitable to sell. That is why their chances of losing are high. But if someone invests for a long time without trading, it is possible for them to be profitable. Especially if someone is able to hold it for a cycle of Bitcoin, then they have a lot of chances of profit, which is not possible through trading. It is possible to profit from trading, but it is not for everyone. The chances of losing are very high. In addition, if you do not have sufficient knowledge in various subjects including market research, there is a high chance of losing your assets.

Trading and investment no bad, depending on the one wey person put mind say him wan do. If you are a trading, you suppose know say plenty things Dey wey you suppose learn. Trading no be something wey be say you go start, and you go Dey expect profit instantly, firstly you go learn about am first, you go don practice am well, you go don get strategy wey you need, you go don sabi things wey you suppose know, before you go start to Dey make money from trading.

If you wan jump into trading, make I no lie you, na as u jump enter, na him you go just commot again because you fit lose most of your money, na why you suppose Dey very careful be that. Newbies make dem no expect instant profit from trading, and even if Dey come Dey make money, loss go definitely come in.

If you are investing, then make your target be for long term, and make you no go put money for all this altcoins wey Dey outside, or make you go leave money for shit coin, your money fit go ooo, just make sure say na bitcoin you Dey invest in, and other strong altcoins wey Dey. You have said a lot about trading investment. So I don't want to say anything new.

As a small investor, I will mostly support investment. But trading is a learnable subject. If you can learn trading, you can make money anytime you want. If you are a more experienced trader, you will understand when you should trade and when you should not trade. If you can make a few trades a week, I think it will be very easy to make a living. So I always respect good quality traders and inspire them to move forward.

In this case, as a newbie, which one would you prefer, trading or investing?
Well as newbie without experience it's very much easier to venture into investment, your target should be at the long run especially when it's bitcoin your investing on. It's advisable to hodl your bitcoin for a period of 4 - 10 years that's what investment is all about it's a plan for the future and it's clear that bitcoin has great potential to skyrocket in the near future. Trading requires knowledge and skills and as a newbie it's not something you're experienced at so it's not wise to go into Trading until you're fully equipped with the right knowledge.

Whether you be newbie or not, whatever option that you choose is your own choice, and whatever consequences that follow, you'll have to deal with them since no one is forcing you to make the best decision for yourself. As a newbie, whether you trade or invest e no mean, but can you endure the losses wey come with the path you choose? Many people consider trading as a fast way to get money, but they can't handle the consequences since it includes big losses.

However, I will not advise any newbies who have no experience of trading to try am, forget say you may become a millionaire in a single night through trading, it can also lead you back to square one with your life that you have been dey managed.

This is a very important point, new traders often do not think about losses in the first place. They do not pay any attention to risk management, but when they face real situations, they suffer huge losses. There are also many mistakes in their thinking, as you said, new traders see trading as a way to make quick money, and because of this view, they cannot consider the risk, as a result they unexpectedly suffer huge losses. Trading is a place where nothing good can be achieved without complete knowledge and proper strategy, but in that place a new trader goes to trade to get rich without gaining any experience or knowledge in the first place. And this is their biggest mistake.

A new trader should only learn trading in the first place, one cannot become a millionaire in trading in the first place, because in the first place a new trader will most of the time face losses, and those who can survive in the midst of those losses and learn trading well, only they can benefit in the long run.

The choice of investing or trading is dependent on the choice of a person be it a newbie or not, what truly matters is the reason behind the choice of either trading or holding, and it seems a lot of people are confusing holding with investing because to me, anyone who holds a fraction of crypto is already an investor whether you hold for long or decide to hold for a short while, what matters is that you were able to afford a fraction of the coin which automatically means you and investor and with this been said, op should come correct the title of the thread from investment to holding if he truly wants to get some more opinion on this subject matter.

I dey very comfortable with my own investment strategy, if you no say you no get appetite for risk, just hodl bitcoin and forget about trading, no go trade because you see other people dey trade, make sure say if you wan trade na because na wetin you wan do and because you don get the skills for am.

Some people no dey even get the sense to dey think this your kind of thinking because watin dey always freak dem about this whole trading of thing na wen sometimes dem see all this online traders dey talk about how easy it is to make millions through trading of which almost ninety percent of all these person are false because they don't go about showing their loses so instead they flaunt their winnings to lure new persons to their channel

For me, I am going to always pick reasonable investment over trading as a means to secure wealth or fulfill future goals.
The reason is simple, and that is that investment may involve me just channeling a lot of funds into one of my business plans or someone else financial projects and am sure in less than two years time, I would be having a source of income that would be sure to increase and its more physical not like trading which will require a lot of explanations when the emotional turmoil comes due to market fluctuations and variables and funds too.

sometimes people don't want to put their money in risk so they will prefer to invest only a few people are into trading and everyone has their reason for whatever aspect they choose to put their money and people love to run away from trading because of how it is risky to trade is not every that will actually want to do because people are avoiding trading because of the charts that you have to study and people do not want to study because they feel its stressful.

and the best thing you can do is to just buy and hold and whenever there is an increase you can actually sell that is what most of these investors do they buy when the price is down then sell when the price is high no matter the time it as taking, what you said is true people trade because they see people trading they don't even have a reason why they are trading, and whatever you are doing you have to have a reason for doing them.

Trading don't  make people to be rich.  Trading is very risky and even if you are an experienced trader with a better knowledge about trading, their is no guarantee that you will be rich in trading.  If you understand trading very well it doesn't mean you can get a better profit from  it that can make you to be rich. With the good knowledge and experience in trading you still need to apply caution I  trading. If you go into trading all with the mindset to become rich then I think the result may be terrible because trading is not easy to make the expected profit from it.

Trading is a field where even if you are very skilled in trading, you will definitely have to face losses many times. Market volatility is something that not everyone can survive in, even if you are very skilled, sometimes you will also have to face big losses. That is why it is never possible to make a profit with complete certainty in the trading market. If you are a very skilled trader, then you can trade with an additional 60 to 70% certainty and the remaining 30% will depend on your luck. That is why every trader must also pay attention to risk management. And do not be too confident and trade with the amount of money you can afford to lose, then I think a trader's financial stability will be normal.

I have experience both , and I usually recommend investment rather than trading because trading can not be pull off by everyone, but one can easily start investing just by having some nice discretionary income, so that they can be able to invest with money they can stay with out using for long and to also follow some certain principles to be guided .

But for trading you must be skilled first in order to make good living from trading and trading learning phase is something that don’t have end , so in trading you learn every day and your prediction can never be 100% sure due to some market conditions, due to market volatility, because a lot of thing can affect the crypto market a lot .

Not like I’m advocating for trading, but the truth is that, there are actually people who are making crazy ass profits from trading every single day, and even if they lose, their profits are able to cover up for that loss. But this as we know isn’t the case for everyone and it takes years of hard work, research, training and of course losses to get to that point. Not everyone are ready or willing to go through that process and that’s why investing is a much better option for people hoping to maximize profits, all you need is the basic knowledge and of course patience to be a profitable investor.

There are relatively few people who make a lot of money through trading, and in the current crypto market conditions, it is almost impossible. I initially considered trading as one of the means of earning money, but with experience I realize that it is for people who are very experienced and used to spending a lot of time in the crypto market. Trading requires a lot of time, beyond basic knowledge, and the possibility of pouring money into the market in an uncertain manner and getting its return is very low.

I am more inclined towards investing because the tendency to save through discretionary income and long-term considerations make me more focused on alternative income.

In this case, as a newbie, which one would you prefer, trading or investing?
I always want to invest, I am not ready for trading at all. I am investing slowly in Bitcoin and trying to hold this investment in a long-term plan. I have no knowledge about trading and I do not have enough experience. If I had enough knowledge and experience about trading, I would have done some trading. Since I have no knowledge about trading, if I go to trade on any trading platform, I can lose my money at any time. If I lose my hard-earned money, I will be very hurt because I worked hard to earn it. I have also learned that investing does not have to be as risky as trading if I can protect my wallet.

If you have no knowledge about trading then you should never do it and enter the market. If it is the best investment for you then it will be good for you, but you need to keep some idea about it before investing. You also need to gain enough knowledge and experience in investing. If you invest with your money then you can earn some good profit from it but if at any time you go for trading then it is more than possible to lose your money. Your plan must be the best for you because if you have no idea about trading then you should not trade at all, if you want to trade then you must take the advice of a good and experienced person. Moreover I also prefer investing over trading, if I have lost my money by trading a few times it was my failure.

On a norms, the right things for someone who has zero knowledge about a certain thing should do is to learn and get a clear understanding about it before doing it, especially when it comes to things that have very high risk, trading is very risky and doing it with little or no knowledge is like a blind person trying to navigate his/her home without any aid. Anyways, concerning the subject matter, I'll prefer patience to quick gains therefore I think investment is the better option for me, although the ans would be divided, some who can't be patient and need quick financial gains would risk on trading while the patient ones who think long-term and wait to accumulate more profits in the future would choose investment over trading.

I think investing is better than trading. Because you don't have to learn much to invest. If you know the investment method, you can invest very easily. Because to invest, we have to keep an eye on a few things. Continuous investment. And using a secure wallet.

But if you want to trade, you have to learn a lot. You have to invest money in a risk-free place. You have to keep many small things in mind. You can lose your entire money due to a small mistake. So in my opinion, trading is a safe and good investment method.

I think trading experience is not always good for traders unless they are very experienced. Similarly, I started trading and lost. The experience of the later period made me successful in long-term investments and tempted me to continue in the future. The trading mentality is that people compete to get more profit in the short term to make more loss. You can get profit by accumulation the long term.

I believe that the chances of getting profit for an experienced trader will be much less because the volatility of the crypto market will not allow him to get profit most of the time. Those who expect to get profit in the short term should take a long-term view of the market and hold it. I think even if you take advice from a good and experienced trader, if you do not have good knowledge about the market he will definitely lose because experience comes from entering the market.

Exactly that is the fact, we should stop doing what we don't have knowledge about,  because that is what is causing some people to lose too much money in trading. Since they hear the benefits of it, they will think they will get the profits easily they don't know that trading is the tough risk in crypto, if you don't understand anything about it you will definitely lose all your funds. so is very advisable to be doing what you understand most. Anyone that have the experience of trading and still get more knowledge about bitcoin investment or any investment am sure he will do both of them, but if you are scared you can't do both is good to focus on one that you know you are good on. As for me I usually do both but I focus on investment most since I don't like taking high risk for now. I just keep investing because I just believe that bitcoin will always raise if you leave it for long term and you will be profitable if the market go well. If you are risk taker trading will be good for you but you need to get knowledge about it before you take the risk.

You've done a good job for elaborating about the two so that people will know the good and the bad side, and also know what are needed to get prepared for the two. However, the most importhat factor to look at is Risk. As a newbie, you are still a baby, you need milk at that time, and not a solid food. This same ideology is practicable in the choice you make with the two because trading is riskier than investing, so why not opt for investing as a newbie and later try to step into the realm of trading litle by little?

Are you willing to invest or are you willing to trade
It's all depends on the category of the investors that you belong to, what works for you most and the amount of funds available in your pocket. Mind you, investment funds are pretty much different from trading funds whereby using little amount of funds for long term investment is never proper and vice versa.

When you've finally classified yourself into the category of the investors you are, then you can choose whether you'll be willing to run investment or trading in as much as these factors will best suit you and wouldn't affect your progress.

Investing is better than losing your hard-earned money from trading risk. People choose trading for easy and quick get rich quick and they hear about those stories. In reality, by entering the market in the short term, they are able to understand their mistakes. After losing a small/huge amount of capital. For an investor, continuous bitcoin accumulation every week can give him higher profits than trading. Disposable income for long term savings.

Your analysis is the simplest truth about trading and investment, in the calling of life, everyone have it portion of talent where it can fit in as inform of division of labor trying to be jack of all trade is the course why many is having failure and condemn the process one should be able to examine it's self clearly where he fit in and follow it strictly, even in learning what some will read twice before they understand some Will read once and understand, I hard one experience from investment one of my friend made on one altcoin following how his friends investment after his investment the coin Fall without risen back to the initial price he bought the coin he allow it for over four years still can't recover, but people has been making money in such investment but his time, turn out been a loser, in conclusion one should know his area of competent and focus on it as your point stand inevitable

However, for me I would never think of going into trading and I can never advise anyone self to go into trading. because is always full of too much losses, rather I advise someone to go into Bitcoin investment. I will give trading advice to those investors who have already acquired a decent portfolio for a long time and are constantly involved in accumulating Bitcoin. We invest for our own profit, but if we can apply the strategy, then maybe we can do it easily.

Although investing is a personal decision, you should make them aware so that they do not lose money. Your advice should be for those guys who will save for 4-10 years before going into trading. Lock in the tendency to sell during this time so that they have a decent amount of Bitcoin holding in their portfolio.

After having a decent amount of holding, those investors should try to make a profit and meet their urgent needs from the profit. At the same time, they should continue to accumulate Bitcoin so that their financial situation can be improved in the future.

Trade and investment are all means of making money in crypto and they both have there advantage and disadvantage so it is left for someone to chose which aspect they want to go about it but we all know trading is very complex and risky compare to investment and trading require a lot of calculations and analysis just to make sure they don't make loss but guess what no matter how they calculate and analyze they will still make loss so me personally I prefer investment because I don't need to be studying and analyzing the market.

Trading is not for people that are not strong emotionally because you will need a strong heart to be able to survive it when the market hit the Rock, I will always choose investing over trading, trading offers potential quick profits but comes with a higher risk and it requires strong experience/knowledge and strong emotionally control, investing on the other hand has lower risk and it only requires basic knowledge and patience to be able to hold for 3 or more years in the Long term goals. Newbies should prioritize investing rather than trading as it would be more suitable for them and stress-free and investing first will make them more knowledgeable about how the market work before they can consider trading.

Trading is not for people that are not strong emotionally because you will need a strong heart to be able to survive it when the market hit the Rock, I will always choose investing over trading, trading offers potential quick profits but comes with a higher risk and it requires strong experience/knowledge and strong emotionally control, investing on the other hand has lower risk and it only requires basic knowledge and patience to be able to hold for 3 or more years in the Long term goals. Newbies should prioritize investing rather than trading as it would be more suitable for them and stress-free and investing first will make them more knowledgeable about how the market work before they can consider trading.
Mental balance is very important, when someone faces a lot of losses, he starts making emotional decisions. Trading is a place where the possibility of losses is very high, trading is mainly for short-term gains, here there is a possibility of profit as well as a possibility of loss. Especially if someone does not understand trading well, and trades without doing proper market research, then his loss is certain. So as a newbie, one should never go into risky things like trading, they should start with investing, and try to understand everything gradually over time. Trading is not an easy thing, it involves a lot of risk, that is why without complete knowledge, trading can never give effective results, rather it will cause a lot of loss for you.

I think you can recommend long-term investment to beginners but they will be indifferent to its implementation. Of course, there are valid reasons for this. They want to get high profits in a short time. Until they are mature in investing. And they are not interested in investing until they lose money in short-term trading. Some beginners may have this kind of mentality.
Investing should be given priority over trading for beginners. I think trading is a good idea for those people who are experienced enough and are involved in the market for a long time and continue to save regularly.

Both investment or trade require experience if u wat to achieve success from dem, I will prefer investment despite there is a risk behind investment because is favourable than trade if u invest wisely in due time, Not that trade is not profitable, just that d  income that is coming from trade is a small income compare to wat is coming out from long term investment.
