Title: ManicMiner.in Great Results
Post by: MinerP on April 02, 2014, 05:27:35 AM
I've set a couple of my rigs to manicminer.in and i gotta say the results are great. Probably going to send all my rigs here soon. You should send the coins to your exchange for better results. Cryptsy, mint, and cryptorush is all i use. Webpage lags a bit but the btc/day is all that matters.

1st day
0.00752 btc/day per mhs

2nd day
0.00685 btc/day per mhs

3rd day
0.00695 btc/day per mhs

Let me know if anyone else is getting similar results.

Yes, I tried it, too - but exchanged directly at the pool, about 1/2 - 1/3 less profit than you.
But even with your profit, electricity is more expensive - I have switched off completely now.

how much do you pay for electricity

0.256 eurocents = 0.35 dollarcents per kilowatthour

Some countries  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395004.msg4358354#msg4358354)are actively protecting the environment (and mankind's future) more than others (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395004.msg4625178;topicseen#msg4625178).

No, ridiculous is that the empire allows itself cheap electricity as if they were a third world country. Just look at this country list of those who risk mankind's future (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395004.msg4625178#msg4625178).   And the energy prices are kept low by huge armies - if you live in the US, your mining is so cheap because ... there is blood on your kWh.

In contrast in these environmentally responsible countries (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395004.msg4358354#msg4358354) citizens pay 5 to 40 times as much per kWh.

The links didn't help.... what message are you trying to get across? Also what info is used to back up the energy prices and armies? Did not of this.... very interesting.  :P

They did. But alright, to make it easier I extract quotes from those postings for you:

Just look at this country list of those who risk mankind's future (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395004.msg4625178#msg4625178).
... which help to push up the upper limit of khash/s ... at the expense of more juice ... are good news for (miners who steal electricity or) miners in countries like Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bhutan, Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Nigeria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Argentina, Myanmar, Surinam, Serbia, Macedonia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Canada, Korea South, Vietnam, Dubai, Taiwan, Malaysia, Nepal, China, Paraguay, India, South Africa, or ... United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electricity_pricing#Global_electricity_price_comparison).

In contrast in these environmentally responsible countries (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395004.msg4358354#msg4358354) citizens pay 5 to 40 times as much per kWh.
People in Solomon, Virgin, Turks, Caicos and Marshall Islands, Tonga, Jamaica, Niue, Denmark, Samoa, Tuvalu, Germany, Philippines, Cook Islands, Brazil, Kiribati, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland and Sweden (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electricity_pricing#Price_comparison) - we are the good ones, because our governments actually care about the environment *g*. But here's a way for us, to also participate in cryptomining - we have to undervolt and underclock our coinmining rigs dramatically.

If you have a mining rig, I suggest to read a bit in that thread. Even with cheap electricity you might want to become an energy saver.

Also what info is used to back up the energy prices and armies?

> Energy prices:
Just press the table column header "US cents per kWh" on the linked wikipedia page, and it will sort the page by energetic ruthlessness.

> energy prices and armies?
Please consult the world news of approximately the past quarter century.
I guess it essentially started even earlier, with the oil crisis ~40 years ago.
Since then almost every war that the empire got involved in ... is about energy.
