What I suspect he did is pay people upfront for renting sig space for a couple weeks promoting his website and the investment. The "investors" were left holding the bag and he made back his upfront costs and then some.

Right after the so-called IPO ended, he locked the threads, and blocked PMs. His site gamblex.org becomes a blank page, so as his facebook and twitter. So, I guess it is pretty obvious what happened. As I have posted in that thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=553094.0), I guess Gamblex has gone right after the so-called IPO ended and will never come back...
