Wow, this is a very good initiative, a perfect means to help your fellow Nigerian that needs quick loan for emergency purposes before payment in their respective signature campaigns.

This is quite a brilliant initiative offering loans in our Naira fiat currency here for the bitcointalk community, which seems to be the first of it's kind if I'm not mistaken, because we have had members offer loans with Bitcoin and altcoins, but never have we seen anybody who offers loan with fiat currency. As although I doubt if people who always cares about privacy will want to opt into this. But however, I wish you all the best. And I will like to advise you to prioritize forum reputation before issuing loan to any individual who picks interest.

Having gone through the context of this post, I must say it is really impressive and it shows the amount of work and dedication put in to make such an idea a working reality.
It's very beneficial to those here, since this is a community of P2P systems and so far so good, this is progress mostly with the emergence of new campaigns.

I am sure this post would be pinned somewhere here for posterity sake and for better newer versions of this idea to surface.

Nice initiative @Floxinice but i have a few questions.
1. How do you intend to deal with loan defaulters because we all know that in every system, there will always be those who will default either intentionally or unintentionally.
2. Since it is a Fiat business, some people won't be comfortable to reveal their banking details even in PM, though reaching you through telegram will be more preferable in that regards. But how do you intend to keep all transactions private because a problem can erupt such as a case when a borrower must have sent the loan amount while you didn't receive the transaction from your end, how will you handle situations like that?
3. The duration of time (7 days), isn't that too small to ask for a repayment of the loan? even though the amount you are lending out is small but there may be weeks when a borrower may not meet up to pay when the loan is due so will you prefer a payment of the interest and extension of the loan amount?

Anyways, i wish you Goodluck in your newly found business and i also hope that you have reached out to some reputable members of the local board before you initiated this, so that in a case of challenges, they can help you out.

@Floxynice, It's a welcome initiative which I am impressed with as a Nigerian because I observe a lot of our LB users normally takes loans from the general board so this can help mitigate such inflow of loan request over there.

But let look into the inevitable or certain possibilities that may surface along the line and how you intend to sort them out. I was thinking about a situation where a loan taker allege to have paid the loan when he hasn't. How do you intend to bring such case to the forum as bank receipts would be involved stating the users real name. Wouldn't that lead to revealing of LB members real names in an anonymous community.

@Floxynice, what you have done is highly commendable and I will not just support you but I will also patronize you because sometimes we get stocked while trying to make some p2p transactions and I that kind of situation some of us usually need some assistance such as this but now they you are rendering this kind of service you will definitely be our sure plug. No one defaults loan unintentionally. If there is loan default, I will alert some DT members in our board and they will leave negative tags to the account.

Good one mate, and you are right. I don't think the fact that someone want to borrow money means they are broke. This sort of initiative is a representation about how the Nigerian community has grown on this forum and I am honestly very impressed.
The available loan amount are quite good for a start and to build trust I don't know of you have plans to increase it later but for now it's cool.

The best vouch for the borrower is to have evidence that he will be able to pay back the loan. I think being in a signature campaign is one of the evidencs that someone may pay back the loan.

How about having collateral? I think someone having collateral should be able to borrow. I mean if someone have bitcoin, can't the person be able to borrow? It's your service, it is your terms. I am just asking if you think about it.

Congratulations floxynice for bringing up this nice initiative of quick naira loan. At least it will go a long way to help our local board. Although I know we have one in the general board but at least we need to also have one in our local board too for those who will be interested. But I wan you to know that loan business is also a risky business, when it comes to pay back. We often have more loan defaulters than people who pay back in due time, so in a case like this would you be able to bear the risk? For example given loan to someone who is in campaign and the next minute the campaign ended , how would you be able to recover your money? perhaps the person is waiting to enroll in another campaign before payback. What would you do if the money is not yet ready?

Wetin you talk make sense, I believe say person fit just post him name and the amount of money he's applying for, when op see and approve the loan here on the thread, then the user can then send his or her account details to op through pm for privacy purposes.

For the rules, e dey there. Before we proceed to pm, the person go first write "interested in 20,000" here in this thread or "applying for 10,000" etc. If loan is approved, I will quote it and say that it is approved or rejected.

That is not escrow but something similar to guarantors. In fact, it is guarantor. It means if the person is not able to pay, I will pay for the person if I am the one that tell Floxynice to give the loan to the person. But I do not think I can do that because I am a kind of person that will be sure the person will be able to pay before doing something like that. Let us see how it would be if it would be beneficial or not.

Accepting collateral is a good idea to add safety of users returning the amount borrowed, but the value of loan amounts  being offered may be little to agree on collateral, plus fees of transferring Bitcoin in separate transactions when the borrower is transferring and when Bitcoin is being repaid.

@Flox, just asking if 30K is the limited amount available to lend (I'm not borrowing). What if someone wants a bigger amount than 30K? You did not add up your interest in percentage, which also makes the idea of collateral not good for the deal. Members in signature campaigns are more promising to pay off, even a full member receives weekly profits worth more than 30K.

This is amazing and I believe it would relief us very fast than going elsewhere to take loan (It's very cheap). With this loan service it would be that easier for us to get NGN than trying to convert usdt for NGN, it is hassle free.

This is a quick loan of less than $20 max, so I don't really think anyone would risk getting flagged or tagged for defaulting a loan of $20 when an average signature payment is $40+/weekly. No collateral is needed except the OP is ready to go above 200k -500k.

Fintech, commercial banks do not ask if collateral anymore, just your ID and account history is enough.

It is indeed a welcome idea and would be a cushion to members in times of emergency. However, making plans with it could get you into a perpetual debt. Borrow wisely and don't just borrow because you see an easy loaner. If someone learns to plan with his income it could save your investments and also save you from financial stress. The initiative is nice but I hope noone will get so used to it.

Exactly, since the loan is max amount is below $20 there is no need for any collateral as you say because risking account for just less than $20, so there will be full commitment and I don’t expect disappointment in any form.

This is a very good rate now, the loan is improving and the duration is also ok so that people that might be very tight to pay back within one week can stretch the loan for two weeks.
