Title: Gourav77 is a scammer.
Post by: hosemary on April 21, 2025, 11:08:22 PM
I am creating this topic, so that I can use it as a reference for my negative feedback against Gourav77 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3693665).
Gourav77 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3693665) first begged for money and after he realized no one would send him bitcoin, he decided to try deceiving people by telling them they will get "something precious" if they send him bitcoin.

Gourav77's archived posts from ninjastic.space (https://ninjastic.space/search?author=Gourav77):

I know no one is that stupid to send him any funds. I am leaving negative feedback for Gourav77 before he comes up with some new ideas.

No begging in the forum, so he broke the rules. That account seems shady, but honestly, it’s probably not even a real threat since it’s just a newbie. Still, I support you for painting the account red so everyone knows. But for sure it’s probably just a throwaway account, once it gets painted, the owner likely just make a new one and try the same scam again.

Looks like some desperate scammer. He deserves a trust flag too for the sake of newbies (who could be ignorant about the trust system) and guest users (who won't see the rating) but can see the trust flag banner with a warning.

Who could be that naïve enough to go trust a random newbie who make account here without any solid contribution to the forum. Well, whenever i comes across thread like this i easily put them on Ignore list where even if they post i wouldn't have to come across their post anymore because I know they have nothing precious or useful to present in the forum than just begging around or disturbing people about their problems. The best to fight them is to set one profile not to allow newbie send them personal messages, with this you won't have to receive their pm anymore.

Checking his post history, the guy has been begging for money from the very first post he made and over time, he even tried to say that he was "working on an innovative AI-based tool that has the potential to make a significant impact" and hoping people to donate money on his "project".

Anyway, the guy is clearly suspicious, and the sole purpose of his account is to beg for money.

If not asking for loans, it's begging people to send them money. I wonder where do these newbies gets the idea that you can drop in here and ask for loans or beg for money.
This is a discussion forum, and people here are not idiots to believe him without posting anything but their address. This guy is not even making an effort on how he begs, just his address and a smiley.  :D

Asking for donations under the pretense of needing tuition, then switching to promising “something precious” in exchange for Bitcoin, is a classic pattern of deceptive behavior seen in many crypto-related scams...

Something to add to the scamminess of his account, I noticed this:

Check out my nft token - https://rarible.com/token/0xb66a603f4cfe17e3d27b87a8bfcad319856518b8:95787850615382063143172845338119638981031984590142151045651329400124664184833

Fidenza (https://opensea.io/collection/fidenza-by-tyler-hobbs) is a real NFT collection with a floor price of 35 ETH per NFT. This guy just used the word "Fidenza" to name of his NFT, which it looks like he made himself, as you can see the "Meta AI" watermark in the bottom right hand corner. Looool.

Maybe that's what he's talking about. He's not going to get very far in his career here so no need to add another tag, I suppose.

Truly a foolish scammer who thinks people here have their brains in their backsides. I thought the ‘precious thing’ he was offering would be something like a trip to space or around the world, LOL, but I didn’t expect it to be that fake NFT he mentioned or the other NFT of the bird Psilopogon viridis, both of which have no price. This is clearly a copyright violation since these aren’t original works but stolen images.

Many of these new accounts are created solely to beg, scam, or spam the forum with malicious links and referral URLs. That's why it's important to warn others and tag these users' accounts when necessary.

I've supported the flag.
