Seeing the current price of bitcoin, make me to feel regret for not investing in bitcoin when the price was $40k last two years,  some of my friends that took the risk to invest small amount of funds in bitcoin when the price increased to $50k despite people were expecting bull season in that period, they bought bitcoin and hold until the price touched higher before they released for sale, and they were lucky to make a reasonable income when the price touched $100k, but they were deeply regret for not using huge amount of funds to invest in bitcoin, i no there are some people in this community that had such experience for not investing in bitcoin earlier. I don't think, I will miss the next bear season because I no there will be bear season after this bull season.

Regret is always the end product for those who failed to invest in Bitcoin earlier, just like the you, most people who knew about Bitcoin and had the funds to invest earlier when it was below $40k are regretting too, for some people it was due to ignorance, lack of funds, and their were some who were procrastinating with thought that Bitcoin wouldn't get to this point, well it's clear your doubt and instead of living in regrets it's time to take make ammends.

 Why? Cause Bitcoin is still at it's early stage and it has the potential to even get to $1m in the future, so now it's at this stage it's time to gather as much as possible before it gets to that amount, I think those that are still procrastinating even while they missed the opportunity of buying it when it was $40 would regret more when Bitcoin gets to $1m in the future and they've got nothing in their portfolio so OP buy bitcoin and hold just like your friends did cause it's not too late and you don't have to wait for the bear season before buying it cause you would've missed many opportunities before it comes.

This one na normal gist, some people dey even regret why dem no invest in bitcoin in 2011, lol. The thing be say time wey don pass, don pass already and no need to dey cry or worry about that.
It is not bad to wait for the bear season, but you never know when e dey come, there is nothing bad in buying bitcoin now, we still believe say bitcoin go still pump and the bull run never finish, so people wey buy bitcoin now go still take advantage of the bull run.

I know say bear season go come after this bull season but most of us wey they regret say we no invest in bitcoin no be say we no want invest with big money when we invest but na because we no dey early into the game and we no get to invest as an early investors of the technology. Many people wey get the opportunity and no really put more money to invest when them get the capacity, na them go regret am pass. Even if you get the information early and you no get capacity to invest, no need say make you feel bad about it all, e better make you invest in bitcoin with your own money than to use borrowed money take invest in am, na the mistake wey most people dey make be that and e no make sense like that.

Bitcoin na big investment wey dey always come with him opportunity again and again because of how volatile e be and how the bear season always dey come after the bull season. The bull season dey give chance to people wey don invest earlier to enjoy the fruit of their investment for the patience we dem get and also dey still give opportunity to people wey never invest before to also start their investment during bear season so that them go get enjoy the reward later too. Bitcoin na better investment and make you no allow anybody deceive you to think otherwise about am.

Yeah many will regret not knowing about bitcoin back then when it was very early , but there’s nothing we can do all we got to do now is to make good use of the opportunity or privilege we have now so that we won’t end up regretting, many are still at there doubting  , but I know a time will come when they will regret their decision of not taken action the first place .

But the truth is that we are still early in bitcoin accumulation, thought like those of then but still bitcoin haven’t gotten to its peak yet so that’s why we got to accumulate and hold even though it may take a whole cycle to hit the goal .

Bitcoin at $98k is still early, get the fraction you can afford now and keep stacking at every did and  HODL. I met Bitcoin at $600 or so and I've never regretted not hodling it for long as I should because I still have another chance to do it today. In the next 10 years people would regret not buying below $100k when they had the chance..

If you don't invest and DCA it now below $100k, you would still write another regret topic after bull run..

I have my regrets but i don't think it matters much now unless you're doing something about it that would ensure that you don't regret it again. As the saying goes, there is no point crying over spilled milk.

That's exactly what I have been doing. I took advantage of the last dip opportunity to get some sats in my stash around 78k. It's not much but in hindsight, I have come to learn that if I had simply stacked bitcoin and compounded, I would be in an excellent position financially.

Why regretting when you still have the opportunity? I meant you wished to have invested in bitcoin when it was at $40000. All I can say is that you can wait till next bear market, let the price of bitcoin fall and invest around $50000. I may be wrong that bitcoin can get to $50000 but I think it is worth trying. Also you do not need to regret of what you supposed not to regret.

There is no need of regretting about the past because Bitcoin is still what is it. So is just left for you to take a good decision and plan for future purposes because the price of Bitcoin is still quite good for anybody that knows the value of Bitcoin to utilize this opportunity. However, to avoid being regret at the second time again I would advise you start your Bitcoin investment right now that the price is not yet in $100k because is quite sating that Bitcoin would Hit $200k and above in near future.

It is funny to see all this regret story although it is normal to hear or see regret stories especially when it comes to people who were skeptical about anything relating to Cryptocurrency ( Bitcoin) in general earlier but seeing the same people writing journal in the form of regret without still doing the needful is what I perceive as unseriousness and with the look of things even though Bitcoin dips to $10k today which may not be realistic, this same people may not also deem it necessary to invest in Bitcoin, with what we have seen so far and the journey of Bitcoin till this moment, there has always been an encouraging price in the long run, so it means that some people were actually out for immediate profit that was even the major reason why they couldn't take the bold step to keep acumulating Bitcoin the little they can till this day.

I don't know why people are too interested in the price of Bitcoin before they can invest in it, it means that most of this people don't know the concept of Bitcoin which comprises volatility, fluntuation and long-term, if investors can take cognizance to the aforementioned then such investors wouldn't be having a problem with investing at all time.

Regrets are meant for things that came out way but we overlooked it and not for those things or assets we never heard of  or knew about it in the very early stage of it. Na true, i get friends wey dey always talk about bitcoin whenever there is a bull run, some of them go even post am for their whatsapp status with a caption of regret say dem no buy bitcoin.

That said, when there is a bear market, these friends of mine go quiet, them no go talk about bitcoin or think of buying it, as soon as there is another bull run or rise in the price, they do the same ritiual of regret, rinse and repeat, i tried to talk to them about it, but they never took me seriously, so i let them be, quite a lot of people are like my friends in this story.

Bitcoin investment is not for short-term profits. You are to invest and hodli for up to 4 years and above, because that's when you will enjoy the exponential increase of profits in the value of bitcoin. Your friends that sold their bitcoin at 100k price will still regret their actions in the future when bitcoin price will be above 200k. I will advise you to look for a means to get income and invest in bitcoin if you haven't started.

Even though the price of bitcoin is $98k, is too late for me to buy bitcoin base on my financial level and there is nothing that will make me to approach the market to buy bitcoin at $98k  because I know there will still be bear season before the price will go higher, who know if bitcoin will still exist in next 10 years to come and even though it will exist in next 10 years, nothing will make me to miss the next opportunity to hold bitcoin because i have save some funds that will allow me to buy and hold bitcoin.Is like you forget that opportunity come but once, and if you miss the right time to buy and you fail to buy, you will definitely regret for not embracing the opportunity to buy in the bear season which is the opportunity I said I will embrace once the bear  season show face again, maybe you have not experience such a thing before, I have the funds to buy bitcoin when the price was $50k but I never knew it will rise to $100k so soon, which is what make me to regret, but i have made up my mind to buy bitcoin next bear season.

The mistake that most people in this space often make is thinking that the best opportunity to invest in Bitcoin was several years ago when Bitcoin was much smaller in value and cheaper to afford, and that since it’s expensive now, it’s no longer the right time to buy. I see a lot of people dwelling on this mentality and every single time I bump into someone saying this, I’d always remind them that every time is a great time and opportunity to delve into the moving train. The same way it was a great time to buy when Bitcoin was just $600, that’s exactly how it’ll be a good time to buy when it’s also in $100k, nothing has changed, Bitcoin still have more potential for growth, the only thing there is having and maintaining a long term perspective of Bitcoin. Because even if those who complain of Bitcoin being quite expensive now, had the chance to buy it years back, and actually managed to buy at a much lower price, I can bet they would’ve sold at a pretty lower price too, maybe after a quick DIP. The problem isn’t the price or value of Bitcoin, but rather the perspective and mindset of the investors.

There is no point killing or worrying yourself why you didn't buy Bitcoin in it's early days when it was cheaper. No time is too late you can begin to buy at any given time. If you regret why you didn't buy Bitcoin when it was $40k then what will you say about Bitcoin price in it's early days of less than $1. I learned about Bitcoin in 2020 and at that time I did not have enough money to invest in Bitcoin and I did not have any knowledge about Bitcoin. I was only aware of the price of Bitcoin and was aware of the name Bitcoin. Now I regret it a little. But now I have been able to save some BTC. People also say failure helps someone to become great, but it is not good not to make amend after the failure. If you make the mistake again, wait for another bear market and be determined this time.

Some people have said this in the past. Some said I wished to have bought bitcoin when it was at $5000 because bitcoin increased to $19600 in 2017. So has been such people as bitcoin is increasing.

Yes it’s true Seeing the current BTC price at $94k again is great, but many still regret not taking the opportunity when they had one..
I remember 2022-2023 when BTC was still around $22k, my elder brother gave me the idea to invest but seeing as it fell from $40k and with little idea about trading crypto then, i decided it wasn’t a safe investment as it was still consolidating within the $22k price and could see more bearish move, seeing it break the $100k high made me to regret not listening to him and investing in BTC when I had the golden chance to..

A lot of people didn't invest when the price was below $50k and now they are regretting, some thought it's a scam or ponzi scheme. Even currently with the high rise of Bitcoin they are still having doubts about it. What people need is a proper education on BTC investment because if they are not enlightened it would be hard for them to learn about it. BTC has made a lot of people financially stable but this doesn't mean that it's too late for you to take advantage of it.

In as much as I wish I had invested in bitcoin when it was 15k, I still have nothing to regret because I have also started accumulating bitcoin and would not stop until I have reached my full. Secondly, what you see as ATH today could be a dip tomorrow. So I don't mind what happened when I was still scared about loosing my funds to the scheme. Some people also knew about bitcoin from time immemorial and also invested in it but are not longer in the game today. Rushing into things you don't understand is the easiest way to go broke. I lot of us wish we could rewind the hands of time back to when we had opportunities to buy at a lot cheaper amount but it's all imagination. I writer once said, the best time to get into the market was yesterday and the second best time is now, we never know what the future of bitcoin holds perhaps it could more ATH and even a 2X in few circle from now. I still believe bitcoin is not done yet, however making a long term investment  now would be the right approach to making profit from the market when the price of Bitcoin increases. However, according to your questions, I never feel any regret before for not investing early in Bitcoin because back then when I was introduced to Bitcoin I no get the money invest, I even vex for the person that person never see money to buy food chop you wan to introduce me to another thing. But sometimes I do feel that how I wish that I have this money to invest back then, person will be holding better money now. ;D

Well, dwelling on the past won't change anything, better late than never... just because you missed out on an opportunity doesn't mean that you should dwell on the past and forget about what's in front of you right now...the crypto space is filled with so much Opportunities and anyone who takes time to acquire knowledge about it would benefit from it...my advice to people that are planning to invest in BTC is, don't do it out of desperation or just because you are trying to catch up with people, take your time to learn and understand it first, in crypto you learn before you earn.

Let forget about the past, is something you can't control anymore, you only have power over now and tomorrow. You will allows have regret for actions you have failed to take in the past if you don't still take such action today. Bitcoin has great potential in the future, so, getting in now isn't too late. But try using DCA to help maximize profit in case of a dip during the bear season. I know of people who had opportunity to buy then when it was below $10,000 but failed to buy because they never know it worth and value. They are now just getting into the market after they had seen the potential in hodling BTC. The past still hurts following our ignorance and relenting efforts towards bitcoin earlier, we would have been stack forever in gigantic profits from investing in Bitcoin. What do we know now? You don't have to regret anything you are not too late if you start accumulating Bitcoin right now, this idea of being late is the reason why some people has refused to start bitcoin investment, there are some set of people that knew about Bitcoin when Bitcoin was just $10k and refused to invest because they feel Bitcoin was too high in price and was late for them to start accumulating it and when Bitcoin hits $70k they regretted why they didn't invest when the price was just $10k, for those who are seeing Bitcoin price right now and feeling is too big and therefore late for them to start accumulating and holding will regret later in the future.
Bitcoin is still growing and since is still growing you don't have to feel that is late for you to start accumulating and holding it because the price you see it today won't be the price you will see it tomorrow, Bitcoin has a lot of potential and if you see the way states are now adopting having a Bitcoin reserve you will know that Bitcoin has a great potential in the future.

There's no point of regretting mate, rather you were just being so lazy to take advantage when your mates were busy accumulating bitcoin back then when the price was very much affordable, or maybe I think you're one of those guys that keep procrastinating back then. Not investing in BTC earlir was actually a mistake I would never want it to repeat itself again, and if there's a situation where one would have whined the hands of clock backwards, I will have gone back into time and change things. Imagine someone that saw BTC at $1500 then, and even lover.

Bear season always comes unexpectedly, and many people tend to fear investing, thinking that they will end up losing. I cannot regret it because I didn't know about it back then, and even when I did know about it, I didn't know of it's intrinsic values, hence I didn't give it much attention, but went on to fuck around with altcoins and shitcoins until a friend explained properly to me and invited me to the forum to take a look. There's no doubt about that. Yes Bitcoin is a new technology that people should take advantage on in anyway they could possibly understand better, either investing or trading.  Although the investment aspect of bitcoin is better than trading but the fact that everyone doesn't want the same thing, some people will not invest in it, they will rather trade it and few others will not join cause it's volatile.

The practice of buying Bitcoin and sell within a short period of time is not good no matter the price it touched, be consistent in acquiring more and Hold. Those your friends that invested and later sold when the price hit $100k can never buy Bitcoin at that price they bought it initially but if they had continued accumulating regardless of the profits they made, they would have gotten a more bigger portfolio while waiting for the price to skyrocket. OP, you talk of Bitcoin wen price touched $40k like two years ago and you dey feel bad sey you nor buy then. How you wan make those of us wey meet am at less than $800 in 2017 com feel na 🙈. Anyway, I nor feel bad then not investing bc d block nor dey dat time to enta Bitcoin. I just bought a few altcoins then take hold body. Most of dem did well but my naivety nor let me cash out then. I dey wait make dem lambo like Bitcoin but na lie.  Na so dem crash for my eyes to almost zero.

D wan wey I dey feel bad not keeping na BNB, not Bitcoin. I bought BNB wen e dey around $0.3 in 2017 but sold off wen e touch $3. Chai! I nor wan even think am again sef. D thing dey headache me anytime I rememba am.

You don’t have to wait till the bear season before you’ll begin to accumulate bitcoin. You can start buying using DCA method and by the next bull run when you’re expecting for your investment to have grown, you would have gathered a reasonable amount of bitcoin by then. If you don’t want to buy now and wait till the bear season, you may have used part of the money or all, as you won’t be able to save those money and keep till that time.

Many regretted why they didn’t buy early and why they never joined the train of bitcoin investors. Am talking about myself here, I feel no regrets because I started my Bitcoin investment very late, because it would be stupid of me to invest in something I have no knowledge on, and base on the fact that the opportunity is still there to be utilized, why would I feel regretful?
I have a code of conduct when making a financial decisions when it comes to investment, and one of those code is i must have a very good knowledge of what am getting myself into, so if I didn't invest them because I lack knowledge then, I don't think I should be regretting because I knew nothing about it then, so I did the right thing by not getting involved blindly, the only way I will feel regretful now is if I do not invest in it after knowing all the benefits attached to Bitcoin investment.

Whenever i see someone suggesting Bitcoin trading/gambling, my advice to them is always the same, and that is to avoid trading by all means. Yes there are people who are professionals in trading and are probably making good profits from it, but that doesn’t mean that it reduces or eradicates the potential risks associated with trading. Yes even Investing has its own potential risks, but it’s in no way associated with trading/gambling.

And the sooner we start to realize that Bitcoin as a long term investment is more than just an avenue to make quick profits, then the better for us. A lot of people who had the chance to buy and trade bitcoin in the early days of Bitcoin are probably still probably doing the same thing today. There’ll always be a huge difference between a long term HODLer and a short term trader, irrespective of the fact that it’s the same asset, the result would definitely be different. 

Those your friends are lucky the price of Bitcoin appreciated after they bought it because reverse would have been the case because Bitcoin is a volatile asset, we can not easily predict what will be the next movement direction. Moreover, it appears those your friends are traders or gamblers because buying and selling within a short period of time is recognize as trading perhaps they should have hold and keep on investing to grow there portfolio so that in 4-5 years time they will have something great in return. Anyone who do not want to regret while investing in Bitcoin should invest for long term because profit in a short term is not certain.

It's not late enough to invest in Bitcoin, you can't bring back time, what you need do is look ahead on what's next to do so you participate in holding Bitcoin. You just need to worry less, we are close to another bearish part of the market in which you can buy to make up for the chances you missed. 100k could just be the tip of the iceberg.. the past is gone focus on building for tomorrow. Same input as everyone, never too late to do all this things, but yeah it could be painful paying more for coins you could have gotten cheaper earlier but don’t forget you could still pay double to get same coins in the future, better late..
That being said said, it works along with patience and believe, for something to be great, you just have to believe in it .. Hold and contribute to the bitcoin’s growth, without patience and belief you might end up selling, it’s your choice and your investment anyways but never feel regret over your past decisions, just find a way to correct it :)

Regret is one indispensable part of life due to the fact that we as humans are imperfect beings so to me whether you miss out on investing in Bitcoin when the price was much cheaper than this current price that we are seeing today what is mist important is that we learn from our mistake and take correction by embracing bitcoin because to me there is no time that is too late for anyone to amend his or her mistake so the most important thing is to start now by investing in Bitcoin and start the journey to securing your financial future

I never regretted not Investing into bitcoin earlier because there was no money to that then since bitcoin investment is not what we should invest with the money we can't do away with.
Even if i starts now I still believe I didn't start late since there is a strategy called the dca strategy where i can be buying bitcoin with the little i have either buying it every weeks or months since bitcoin price will increase more in a long time.

Sure, Bitcoin is a great coin and you can't predict it, so i think they is not regret on not investing in bitcoin dose early days. the price will always increase and you will get profit anytime you have enough funds to invest. Many people don't really know about Bitcoin when the price is low, so don't think you regret. just invest now and leave it in the next 3 to 4 years am sure will get profit over it because bitcoin always raise for the long term.

When Bitcoin came many people don't really have enough knowledge about crypto, not investing or doing online research, people basically focus on physical business and investment, is when the country started getting weak and people started looking for alot of money to survive that is when some started getting some knowledge about cryptocurrency, because is unpredictable and friends and friends started introducing each other in online investment gradually the youth get experienced and focus on crypto investment, and be getting profits. let focus on the present stuff because as how bitcoin is moving he will be very hard for other coin to over pass it, so we should continue investing on bitcoin and get profit and forget about regretting why we didn't invest early.

You can remain there and continue to regret or rather start today and take actions in getting your self enough bitcoin. With the current status of bitcoin, in a couple of years thats when people will begin to regret. It's still very early to begin asking your self why you hadn't invested. Again bitcoin has proven it's self times without number that it's the best cryptocurrency out there. It doesn't matter how much you start with right now. If you can stay consistent with your investment and continue to add more to your stash in a couple of years you would be happy you did.

Regretting of not buying Bitcoin before now was a great opportunity missed by those investors that have already joined Bitcoin before now and not we that has just joined Bitcoin not quite long enough, but we that is just coming up with Bitcoin we are not going to allow any great opportunities pass us by, not with the presens enconmy in the country right now, so providing that any investors have a discretionary income, i will advise that buying Bitcoin aggressively and accumulating should be our major concern.

@op My situation is the same as yours. I heard about Bitcoin in early 2023. But I didn't have the courage to invest in the new situation. But to be honest, when I saw Bitcoin, everyone told me about it and regretted it. Because at that time the price was only 29 thousand. At that time, experts advised me to invest for a long time. But I didn't start investing like a fool. Later, when the market started to grow. That's when I realized what I had lost.

I learned from my own experience that good times don't come often in people's lives and when they come, 80% of people don't understand. And people's regrets about the price of Bitcoin will last forever. In the future, new people will come and say one day that I saw the market at 107 thousand. Actually I totally regret not buying Bitcoin in the early stage of my journey of Bitcoin, but to some extent not that regrettable because I don't have my start up fund with me, if I have manage to start I would have crashed or end up being a trader that will be affecting me or I would have fell into the hands of the wrong people that would have discouraged me from being into Bitcoin , therefore delay is not a denial, instead of borrowing, it is better to wait until you have your needed resources that will not affect you.

I think there is nothing to regret. Because I think Bitcoin is still in its infancy. Those who could not do it then, buy now and keep buying until you can accumulate enough Bitcoin in your portfolio. Bitcoin is still far from Satoshi Nakamoto's plan.

You're right there is no need to cry over a glass cup that has been broken regretting will not bring back that opportunity that has been missed so my advice is for you to make use of the opportunity that you have now by investing and hold for as much as possible not to regret missed opportunity it will never come by again

Bitcoin investment doesn’t really count on the amount used at first start rather starting the journey and investing consistent is more important compared to waiting or regret. The bull season now is not a set back neither should an investor stop buying instead buy and hold should be the major aim for anyone left with regret about the current price. It’s clear no one expected bitcoin growth over the years and now bitcoin is considered as one of the most valuable investment choice, asking if I ever regretted not investing earlier definitely yes due to ignorance but those who knew earlier about bitcoin and refused to invest never had faith in bitcoin.
The common mistake people make from my perspective, they try to predict the market when it’s not 100% guarantee, waiting for the bear market is like wasting another precious time to start building your portfolio although buying the dip is not a bad idea rather it’s considered as a good strategy to grow bitcoin investment.

I would have counted myself to be among those that regret not investing in crypto at the early stage, but no, I don't. When one can start living a life of not regretting past actions and doing their best to make a better plan/action than previous, then we can stand a chance of fixing what we one's thought was bad.

Years back, life hit me hard, I could not keep up with the forum activities neither internet related activities, there was no money for investment not even keeping up with life's demand. This is not because the money was there, and decided not to, or thinking it's risky, no funds was the challenge, so, no need of regret for me.

If I had money then, I would have put everything worth investing into Bitcoin, and the little one I had then was keeping up with the forum activities.

The only difference between then and now is the price because back then the price was very much cheap, and if it were nowadays almost every investors would have own a bitcoin those capable ones would have own like 10btc in their portfolios, but it was  quite unfortunate that most of us couldn't figure out the good potential of bitcoin back then. But I think is still very early for us to correct our mistakes by accumulating as much as we can, because the Market is becoming unpredictable no one knows what will happen in the near future.
