I’ve tried trading, but I’m not seeing any real profits.
Is there a method to make money in crypto without the typical buy/sell trading?
Looking for something that actually works long-term

A job that pays crypto. Or a job, and then buy your own crypto. I don't know where you are but if you live even in Asia and you focus on getting a really really good job, invest in education and invest in upskilling, $1500 per month is high end.

If you live in US or Europe, I guess $5k is more like a normal graduate job?

I keep telling people, don't waste life trading or investing only. Do a great job, have a good life, and DCA :)

OP is not after your advice because he is only here to scam people. But here is not a place to scam which makes him a failure here.

His intention is to make that second post because I know Stanley589 is RomanVanad's alt. No evidence but it is obvious.

If you are not making real profits, then maybe you are not doing something right. Maybe you are not using enough capital to see significant profit or maybe you are having difficulty finding good entry/exit points. Trading is not the only way to make money but there is a chance that you just did it wrong if you are not making any profit. That is okay though. Trading will never be for everyone.
Long term? Then just hold, mate. That is the best thing you can ever do and you will surely see your money grow and you just need to make sure that you take it out at a right time.

each candle is 1 month old, notice what the lowest price value was in the last month, it was $74,000, but now notice what the current price is, we are talking about $95,000, but the price even passed $95,000 a few days ago, that was an increase of more than 20% in just 1 month and if you look more closely at the bitcoin chart, you will see that in every month it has had a good increase, but the question here is just for you to know the exact moment to buy and the exact moment to sell.

Trading is hard activity because we don't know what coming around with us especially that market is so volatile, but if you just gain lots of experience on it then provably that you will get a good profits from trading. I guess this is only applicable if you have good patience, but not everyone have this and it became a common reason why lots of people lost their money.

You can also try to buy and hold Bitcoin since there's good chance that you can earn good profits on it in future. You just need to be consistent on accumulating Bitcoin and have knowledge on to handle this type of investment.  But if you can't do this due to some reason, I guess the other option left just like what people been suggested here is to find good jobs that can give you good profits in crypto. This is famous option now and people are now finding good opportunity in cryptocurrency scene.

Based on the subject title, you just want to make $5,000 that isn't crypto trading, right?
The best that I can think is through STAKING. I'm not saying that this isn't risk-free though and there's still a chance that you will lose your capital, but this is I think the safest way to make $5,000 excluding earning through capital appreciation of course.

That computation is for the current price of those tokens. Now there are some factors that could affect your profitability such as the volatility of the token, and the APR because it's changing still. The price of the token can be a huge factor towards your earnings.

Now if you at this as a complicated one, just buy Bitcoin and hold it. You didn't specify in your post if how long. Holding Bitcoin for let's say 4 years will give you more than $5,000 profits, but it all depends on how much capital are you willing to invest.

I think you must try to find Jobs on web3 projects or you have have capital you can try yield farming on DeFi, liquidity mining, add liquidity in on lending borrowing. They can give you passive income in crypto. But don't forget about the risk hacking smart contract.

This stuck my mind and I would say that the best way to make it is exchanging which has almost zero risk. Starting small with an online shop serving localities then growing it bigger into a global exchange. User base to keep going for next months , few will stick and some will move onto a better one but most the key is to be competitive.

Get a job that pays in Bitcoin or sell your Service for Bitcoin.

And if you think you don't have such skill that would warrant been paid (I doubt though even hobbies have become paying jobs)

The best way for making money is = learning. You can learn everything if you have a good capacity and time for your work.

You may not know how to trade properly. Have you been trading for a long time? If you are not comfortable with trading, why not invest in Bitcoin? You need to prepare some capital to buy Bitcoin, and you just need to wait patiently until the profit is in your hands. You don't need to be stressed and dizzy with charts to analyze, like when you prepare yourself to trade.

OP, making such an amount of money in crypto these days is not a come chop, you must invest something proportionate to what you want to see as your profit and while investing, you should invest in the right project and also be patient with the process if you are investing in presales or better still wait till launchpad on crypro exchanges to get your own quota of the token when they launch then you sell or you hold. If you can be patient enough while holding for the long term, depending on your investment, you could achieve your target. On the other hand, you could develop your skills so you could render services in exchange for crypto payment, as seen on this platform.

Why do you keep trading when you are not making profits are recorder multiple loses along the line, this is very important as we doubt if your statement is really about seeking trading advice, since there are few accusations against you being an alts.

Note that trading is profitable to those that have a working strategy and skills to trade perfectly, but to that most trader's still trade in loses most of the time.

there are ways to make money from crypto besides trading, you can invest your money in cryptocurrency, work on crypto projects, or offer services to others for crypto payments. just choose which one suits your interests. because to make money from crypto is not only by trading, what i said at the beginning can actually make money for you if you do it right in the long run.

but you know that it certainly won't be easy at the beginning, because you need to be serious about doing it to be able to make money for yourself. you need to learn more, spend more time, and build your reputation or portfolio. but if you are consistent and able to build connections, your efforts will definitely pay off.

If trading does not work for you means that you don't know how to do it, the best advise here is for you to find a suitable entry to invest and hold for a long time, buy bitcoin when the market dips and hold for long till you experience a bullrun market or when we hit all time high.

Being an investor have to also come with you overcoming the fear of missing out, especially when the market go bearish, you must be able to have the expectation of it coming up anytime soon.

Why not consider hodling Bitcoin instead of trading? I cannot guarantee that you will be getting $5k+ if you decide to hodl instead. However, the returns you get after hodling will depend on how much you invested in crypto in the first place and how long you are able to hodl. You don't invest a very small amount and expect $5k+ returns. You can invest a lump sum or simply invest in bits at intervals, this is called Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA).

But before you think of investing, do ensure you have a secure job where you earn from. It will help you invest comfortably and consistently while you aim to reach your investment goals.

There are so many ways to make money in crypto other than trading, including becoming a Brand Ambassador, becoming a community administrator, translator, article writer for a crypto project, becoming a content creator, and many more. You can find this by exploring several projects in crypto that are currently hiring for them. However, what I see more often for vacancies in crypto is the coding/programming section, and is specifically for experienced people. Other than that, maybe you don't know about staking in crypto, this is not trading, but it can make money.

Making $5k+ in current era without trading seems like a dream and I don't think it will ever come true but I think you can make money by staking, farming, joining restroairdrops, joining events, giveaways, etc. type of reward based tasks to get some money from crypto you can also join signature or bounties campaigns on this forum and or on AlTT forum for better income.

Although making $5k or more is really hard without trading beacause airdrops don't give that much profit nowadays, before they could easily give more but now due to high number of participants it is really hard to get that much reward.

Anything that has to work for you for long time, then you must be ready to learn and build yourself in that field. I don’t know how you intend to make such big amount in crypto without trading. Trading is been called a get rich quick scheme even though it is not, but it is only with trading you can make big profits within a short time when you have the required knowledge for it.

Buying and selling will not make you such money easily and even if you invest in a memecoin, it has to be with a reasonable amount of capital before you can make many X’s to earn such big amount. I suggest getting a job that pays well and then invest in bitcoin, it’ll help you grow your profits overtime because making it instantly looks a bit hard to happen than gradually growing your wealth in that regards.

Why limit yourself to crypto? Do you have any specific skills that would be useful in this sector? Its tough finding reliable income streams that actually work long-term without active participation.  Most options tend to offer limited returns - staking, lending, even mining unless youve got a major operation.  And of course, they all carry risk too.   

But if you have specialized talents those could open more possibilities. and  I know blockchain projects need developers constantly.  Marketing experience is hugely valuable too for new crypto ventures looking to get off the ground.  Even something like graphic design or writing can be applicable.   

Basically skills that translate to real-world businesses can often translate to crypto projects too.  You just have to think creatively about how to provide value.  If ou can leverage your talents, something sustainable should be possible without chasing unicorns! Maybe you should brainstorm what unique value you can offer.  There seem to be a lot of possibilities out there.

Because you may not have the skills in trading so often experience losses... But are you targeting $5000 in earnings? Like you want to set this number but don't have the skills?

Or join airdrops even though it's paid using shitcoin but if there is value it's pretty good.

It depends on your capital size too. If you have $100,000 then you can get $5,000  as trading profit easily but if you have only $100 or $1,000 you will struggle a lot to earn $5,000 in profit. That difficulty explains why traders with small capital are interested in leverage but they suicide by using leverages.

If you have knowledge and skills in cryptoccurency, you can become community manager for one or some projects and you can get very good income. $5,000 can be earned after a half of year or shorter or longer depending on how many projects you work for.

Doing tasks for airdrop is hot in 2023 and 2024 but in 2025 I see it is less attractive. There is no lucrative airdrop project reported like two previous years with Arbitrum, Optimism, and many projects on Solana.

A job that pays that amount.

A product that can make you sell with that earnings.

So, if it's not trading. Then you have to trade something useful for the others that you can provide. That's it but it ain't easy.

The bigger the capital... the bigger the profit as well as the risk.

Many people have become community managers in some new and even old projects, they are paid with USDT or tokens in the future... try to hone those skills.

I've never relied on airdrops because it takes a lot of time... even to get results you have to wait months, but airdrops nowadays still have a lot of participants.

Before any other thing I think you should know that crypto is not a get rich quick scheme and if you are being greedy and want to make quick profits without proper strategy or information then you might just be wasting your time, if you are trading and you are not seeing any profits it simply means that you are obviously doing the wrong things with a wrong mindset of getting massive profit. If you really want to make good profit I suggest you invest in Bitcoin with the DCA strategy on the Long term goals because I don't think you can get the massive profit you are looking for without buying, avoid trading because you are not good at it and stick to buying and HODLING Bitcoin on the Long term goals.

The people who make the most money from crypto are those who have something to offer to others who will, in turn, pay them in crypto and not entirely just by trading.

Trading, you can make a profit, but you can't be lucky all the time. The best is to look for a demanding skill in the industry and equip yourself with that knowledge, or better still, look for a job out there and buy and store crypto for the long term before harvesting for profit.

What kind of strategy you are doing?,
When I do not watch the market I just make spot trading which takes accumulated a lot of coins and then buy into the lowest value or the market dip and then taking profit once I'm satisfied but this kind of strategy are just effective if the market are currently in bull run. But if you are aim is for the long term such as holding I guess buying with the lowest price of the market price and then tooks so long to hold is ideal, as of now I guess if your aim is bitcoin it will tooks another dump and halving so you can enjoy the gains.
