Title: Apple Pay gone crypto, anyone checking it out?
Post by: Ethan_Crypto on May 02, 2025, 10:22:21 AM
Mesh just dropped Apple Pay integration live at Token2049. Launching Q2 2025.

No more headache for merchants. Mesh handles both crypto payments and stablecoin settlement.

You can pay with BTC, ETH, SOL etc… Merchants get stablecoins (USDC, USDT, PYUSD) instantly via their SmartFunding system.

It’s fully live with Apple Pay’s NFC + Face ID. Works online and offline.

Finally feels like crypto payments are catching up with fiat UX.

Is this the start of the real adoption wave? Anyone planning to try it?

Yes it is. The more payment system owned by the big companies adopt crypto as a part of its service, the more demand to come to the crypto.

Been actively using cryptomus to pay digital goods, and always went smoothly. The only problem is that lacked custormer service.

It's good to see how big payment system such as Apple pay will integrate to the crypto. Can't wait to actively spending stable token there.  8) 8) 8) 8)

Hopefully it's not only just a rumor. Really need Apple pay and may be google pay to fully integrate with crypto asap.

It's a great news! Unfortunately, it's not live in my country so I am unable to check it in live, but it's a huge market integration. Apple payment is a super popular payment app and its integration with Mesh will surely help building trust around crypto payment.

I can already see multiple articles on this subject from popular and trusted sources. So I think it's not a hoax at all,

While it "may" become something good, it is not there yet, plus it is not by apple neither. What makes it great would be apple directly doing this, and actually doing it instead of making a promise. Mesh is not doing it yet, and they are not apple, so this will not impact the price of anything. If we do that then we are going to be upset and we are not going to make any money at all.

Life isn't that hard and it is not easy and we need to realize apple is the only one we can get hyped for. I understand you want this to mean something, because we all want to make stuff mean something, but it is not going to mean anything and the market will not even react to it unfortunately. Hopefully though, if it does good, then apple may see how great it is and end up spending money to make it happen.

Sounds like a really good news in my opinion, I've been scratching my head wondering why the big players haven't adopted stablecoin as a mean to process payment since it's so cheap, fast, and stable.
Finally it's here.

Honestly, I've been using bitcoin debit card and it's already so convenient, but there's always risk of debit card getting stolen so something like apple pay accepting crypto is a good news to hear.
Hope they can expand the business to wider area.

This kind of stuff is usually region restricted ;D, much like crypto in paypal.

Although I really want to try it, but I bet majority of people won't have access to it.
I guess I will keep using my crypto debit card, since it's the most accessible anywhere besides using crypto directly.
