It's a waste of time (regardless of the coin). If you want to get into mining, you're better off buying GPUs or proper mining equipements (depending on what you want to mine). Obviously, though, you should do research to see if it's profitable for you or not.

I think it is very rare that there are coins or tokens that can be mined via phone or specifically on android as OP said. If there is, then I think it is like a waste of time.

I saw that there was a video creator, who explained the income he got from mining with his phone, there is indeed a profit, but it is not worth it I think, and even then I see him lucky because the value of coins that he mined increased.

You can look at his video: Youtube - How Much This Crypto Phone Farm Made in 1 Year (https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=ojw1_le1lOc&t=0s)

Hard to seek for something like that since if there are programs like that usually they are not really profitable and worse other are just a scam.

But if you are really interested to mine crypto then go to mining section and ask about what best unit to buy. Since maybe with that you can get decent profit compare on what you ask here. Also don't let yourself fall from scam so try to dig more information and stay away with fake promises made by scams out there.

Also here maybe this one could help you https://www.bitdegree.org/crypto/tutorials/mining-cryptocurrency-on-phone

Telegram mining made almost every young person in my country a crypto miner. It made people believe that they could mine valuable coins using Android phones. It was common to see people claiming that they were mining a coin, while it was practically a waste of time. Many of them earned nothing from these efforts. If you want to mine, you will have to invest in advanced mining equipment and get access to constant and cheap electricity.

Well, if you've couple of phones than use those phones wisely rather than wasting the processing power of those phones and your time for mining on Android. You'll end up losing your time only and in return you'll get almost nothing for months or years of effort.

Android apps mining are regarded under cloud mining and most of them are scam, only few can reward peanut, so don't waste your time in doing them, if you so much have passion for mining, then learn how to mine bitcoin using PoW and set up a mining rig, which i know would cost you, but well rewarding and demanding as well, because you will have to learn about the technicality in mining bitcoin, but other forms of mining are not worth it.

Well, I think I would advise you look for something else that would bring a good profits for you in the near future, than for you to just waste your time and energy in mining something that you are not sure about. However, since you already have a couple of phones available for you, the best thing you should do right now is to settle down and do a very good research before thinking of venturing into anything mining, because the losses is always higher than the profits.

This is really waste of time, you can find numerous platforms providing android mining, but that's not real mining, it is like virtual mining where you just have to click after 24 hours, like clicking on Pi app, where after 24 hours we could get some pi, same way there are more than 100 apps in the market we can join and get their native token by just clicking the mine button.

Keep in mind, the real mining is in GPU or the dedicated machine's mining, and if you want to mine, go for BTC because it is the king of everything, and even if you are noob, setting everything is very easy that you don't have to be a technical joe.

To be honest I would just say you should focus on doing something more better with your time because while you have these phones available, you need time for it. These are like gamble because airdrop mining are not really paying again, projects take your time and resources and give you little to nothing.

While if you are referring to an actual mining of cryptocurrency, others have spoken about it already. All I can say is that use your time to focus on more productive thing like a skill or refining your skill and marketing it through which you will earn better income and if you are really  interested in mining then you sell them and funds to get a better mining machine with good processor and other basic things needed to mine the cryptocurrency of your choice.

Not in this universe, no!

Mining in Android is pure bullshit. If anyone suggests you some Android mining applications then simply ignore that. Mining requires massive hashpower which is not possible with Android. Even the latest chipset isn't close enough to anything. People who usually talks about Android mining refers to nothing but cloud minings.

A couple of phones won't even get you anywhere, not even a penny. You'll need at least a couple of GPU's/mining rigs just to get started with mining.

This is 2025, we are no longer in 2010 or 2015 when so many of those mining apps on mobile cell phones was profitable to some people, this time around, it's just a waste of time to go into mining with any of those random altcoins project that design a mining app. The projects could keep you mining for so many months and at the end, there wouldn't be any significant benefit.

Android mining? That's nonsense if anyone tells you otherwise.  In the first place, an Android phone isn't capable of mining.  If someone has told you otherwise, that is a scam, there's no real mining done using an Android phone. Mining apps also aren't legitimate, they usually lead you into a scam if you proceed with them.
That kind of strategy is commonly used to deceive people.

The only devices capable of Bitcoin mining are mining rigs with specifications far superior to those of an Android phone.

99% of the mobile phone mining apps are a waste of time and will only slow down your phone while also leading to an unnecessary increase of your phone.
If you want to mine, get the required mining rig, or have a good GPU to mine a potential altcoin at an early stage.
You can also try the node mining of AI, and the  dePIN related project but they are mostly not profitable.

Cloude Mining? I think it's very unreasonable to do because there is nothing worthy of a cloude mining, just a waste of time, if asked to choose Android mining or the test I will prefer the test than mining today, it will not be commensurate and will only change your device.

I think everything that involves solo mining is already done in this cycle already or even during the last one. And although there could be developers who think that android mining is profitable, I haven't heard anyone claim that it was a successful venture.

With that, it's better for you not to think about this android mining and tell your friends that it's not as profitable as before. That is, if there is era wherein it really went very well for those early android miners.

I guess he didn't mentioned cloudmining here but rather mining on his phone.

But we can agree that this two mentioned is just a crap or will just waste his time, So instead of thinking about mining on phone then maybe more better for OP to go to legitimate earning options.

Mining is hard nowadays and for sure with that situation those low end mining schemes provably will not give them a good amount of profit. Also I would rather find another good opportunity, rather than wasting my time on I think will not give me any good result.

Testnet, trade, staking and many other ecosystems that we can use to get bigger opportunities than just keeping an Android phone and trying mining that can't give us anything.

Except for becoming a large-scale validator node, but that can't be done by Android.

When we people are going to understand the core concept of mining, it is hardware intensive and the chipset we see on the Android based on ARM that is no where compared to CPU. Whatever we evolved from CPU then to GPU and now only ASICs can handle mining.

So don't waste your resources by downloading useless apps which so called mining by tapping or shaking or in anyway.

If you want a real mining then I think the better way is to use a real mining device like laptop and pc cause using android for that doesnt really works. Or youre thinking the cloud mining. Personally Id tried that before and gain nothing but become a scam, you need to pay something out of it. But if you want to use android then, theres some games on telegram can work out for some coins but not real mining.

If you're talking about mining Bitcoin or any other major cryptocurrency, then even using PCs, even dozens of them, is going to be a waste of time and energy.
To make any real profit, you would need to invest in proper mining hardware.
The problem with cloud mining is that most of the services out there are scams.

I believe what the OP is asking about, and what his friends are probably using, are those walk-and-earn apps, which most of them turn out to be scams as well.

Absolutely what I was about to comment too, even proper mining hardware has grade to mine something meaningful especially in the world of Bitcoin, old mining  ASICs like the early Antminers   Can’t produce a reasonable hash power to meet up talk more of a PC.. not sure about other currencies but it’s likely what you’ve mentioned about the work and earn  apps. There used to be one that I’m sure of called satoshi :)(it’s  an android app) not sure if it’s still available..

If you're looking to mine Bitcoin or one of the top 100 cryptocurrencies, dozens of computers combined will be of no use. Even new cryptocurrencies with mining algorithms cannot be mined using the power of a personal computer (there are computers with enormous power), let alone the power of a mobile phone.
The only way to mine is to invest in mining equipment and create a mining farm based on the number of devices used.

The problem with cloud mining is that users don't fully understand the concept of real mining and believe everything scammers promote. This is why cloud mining scams still succeed in trapping victims.

None of course, ive been that before when I was a newbie on that time with the crypto and I saw a mining website and app with the bitcoin afterward meet the requirement ended up I cant even make a transaction at all and they required a deposit so its already considered as a scam so I waste most of my time seems like around a months too, if you really want to mine crypto you must need to have a rig of GPU which tooks a lot of expenses at the same time.

I think what OP meant was not a mining app that does tapping or shaking as you said. But what he meant was Mining on android using computing power, and this is indeed possible as I said before. But still it seems useless, because it only wastes time and energy.

When we people are going to understand the core concept of mining, it is hardware intensive and the chipset we see on the Android based on ARM that is no where compared to CPU. Whatever we evolved from CPU then to GPU and now only ASICs can handle mining.
It is true that it seems that currently only ASICs can be used to mine effectively. However, this is only for Bitcoin, unlike some altcoins, because I have seen that there are altcoins that can be mined using the computing power of Android. If anyone asks what, maybe you can see my previous post.

It is just a waste of time to claim airdrop and hoping to make fortune from it. I have tried many telegram airdrop and thinking that I will make a living from it but all to no avail.i ended up wasting my time and energy to get dust in return, for that reason I will not advise anyone to mine or claim telegram airdrop, instead they should invest in Bitcoin with the amount they can afford to lose continuously till they invest a reasonable amount which profit is assured in the future than wasting the fucking time.

Because the mining are not paying anymore, instead of you to be wast your time in the android mining it will more better for you to search for any legitimate project that pay more than your expectations, something like Testnate that’s the laptop mining, that’s what a lot of people are into now:  Because a lot of are participating in and their earnings huge amount of money.

Android mining sounds good as if the developers of whichever mining apps you'd see make you believe that you're mining through your phone.

But you're not, and that's why if you're into this kind of thing, you're just lessening the life span of your phone when you try the simulation of the apps that they want you to use.

Why? because you're using leaving it open as if you're doing a mining but you're really not.

Do people still make money from mining? I don’t really think so, it’s just better you don’t waste your time, because I don’t think you going to be making anything from it. If you are planning to participate in all this airdrops, and mining, don’t even waste your time to start it, just get some other things to do online. I don’t know if you are having some skills, some members might be needing your service here, and you will be paid, or you can involve yourself in other things, and you will be making money, but just forget about all those mining because they are just waste of time.

OP, I believe from the response you have gotten so far, you already know what to do. I would also not advise you to join Android mining because these days, all they get is peanuts, and it would be very disappointing after spending a long time with such a mining app, and in the end, it is worthless to say. Any Bitcoin mining Android app you see is a scam, as currently, the possibility of mining Bitcoin with an Android phone is nearly impossible. Do not fall for a scam in the name of wanting to use all your phone to mine Bitcoin to make money.

If you think time is valuable to you, then give up these thoughts. Because there are very few coins that can be mined with an Android phone. What you get from the coins that are there will only seem like a waste of time to you. They will not be of much use and the price is unlikely to increase.

Everything is not really worth it for thinking about they can mine in phone since if they do lots of research about it for sure they get discourage to waste their time for trying it.

More worst is what if they are just been deceive and brained wash that they are really mining on phone, but the fact is they are just been engaging with a ponzi schemes and a grand plan for a large scale exit scam will happen soon for sure that they fall for that and lose a lot of money. That's the reason why they should ditch this idea and think about other valuable things that provably could give the more decent profits.

See more of what exactly? I have never shown you anything talk less of showing you more neither am I intended to recommend any to you.

Infact, I don't know what you are talking about here
You made a post asking if can an android be used for mining which I made a clarity that mobile phones or specifically the android can not be able to perform the mining tasks due to it incompatibility as mining may be computationally intensive.

But if you need some recommendable mining devices you can go for computers with  GPUs and ASICs. Those are efficient and compatible devices for you.

Don't start with Pi Network mining pls, it's not real mining, but because people like you exists is why they get away with it, Mining on phone is been faked by the creator of the shit coin and it works thanks to you and others like you.

Do you understand what cloud mining is? Mining on phone is simar to this, it's like mining without the real equipment, so it's fake after all  but people like you will say seeing is believing because you click a button that says "start mining" and people like myself says seeing is deceiving.

Solana is built on friendly contrasts which enables smart programs like the telegram mining projects and other projects like the GameFi that allows participants to use smart phones to run their tasks and earns rewards.

Due to the eligibility operations of smart phones or androids on that contexts, newbies think they can actually use smart phones for mining of Bitcoin without understanding that the required computational responsibilities on the mining devices can be overtasking and due to inefficient gadgets and lower functionality of the phone, it could lead to crash of the phone and there as ineligible to perform the assigned mining tasks which in a nutshell, android phones/smart phones are not compatible of delivery the heavy tasks of mining whether Bitcoin or Ethereum.

can you refer some links for this i wanna see more.

Those are efficient and compatible devices for you.

chill bro i just want to see solana minings projects which you said, and i asked this to you why angry?
GameFi that allows participants to use smart phones to run their tasks and earns rewards like this one i was curious

There is no mining with Android phones, but rather fraud. You will find Android mining apps only on various social media such as: Facebook, TikTok or YouTube etc. Whether you use these mining apps or not depends on how unemployed you are or how much time you can waste. You may have seen some social media campaigns where mining starts with 1 click and coins start accumulating. Basically these are made for fraud or most of these apps are fake. Sometimes these apps are made to steal information and want to find a client like you and succeed in their plan.

If you want to become a professional miner, then buy the necessary equipment and keep learning mining. It is not possible to become a miner with Android phones.
