Title: Someone tried to sell FairProof - my business!
Post by: FairProof on April 02, 2014, 01:04:21 PM
I am really upset about what happened here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526785.msg6003423#msg6003423

The topic was started by a person unknown to me. The guy even negotiated and sent some PMs under my account.

I have seen some scam attempts at btctalk but this is personal now.

All I could do is change my password. Though I do not feel secure at all here anymore.

wooops..! this is very confusing... ! how can someone access your acc/ if they didn't hacked it and if they hacked it why  don't just change password..? anyway I'll suggest that try stronger password search your pc for keyloggers and use 2 step verification in your mailing acc/ if you haven't already..!

It sounds untruthful to me, the way you explain how the perpetrator "accessed your PMs, etc." as if that'd be surprising at all if your account had been compromised. Either way, why post any of this if nobody was in fact scammed under your account. It's not necessary, and surely will make some users hesitant to deal with you in the future. You should have just changed your information, closed your thread, and moved on and dealt with it personally. Just my input.

I don't think it was unnecessary like you mentioned..! it is very necessary for those who take their security for guaranteed , you never know who's might be stalking you and trying to make hacking attempts   ..!
