Heads up, to all of you gamblers running after a must win, the question is will you win and walk away from gambling forever? Because this is sadly but truthfully way to win gambling for real. If you win today you haven't escape, because you will be back, correct me if I am wrong, those who choose to have fun with gambling knows why they choose this because they know deep down that they will always be here. Win today, you will be back, and that's what makes casinos the winner. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: bitbollo on May 15, 2025, 11:26:03 AM Unless you hit the bigjackpot maybe with a single multibet or single spin in a roulette you're always a loser if you count also the time involved.
That's why playing small sums is enough funny and profitable... Imagine, you have an hobby, that helps you to have fun for many many hours. Are you in profit with the hobby? No, of course. Why you're still continuing your hobby? Yes sure because it's funny and you are spending good time. With gambling it should be the same. If you count all the time, expense and effort did you had, you can never see any returns. You are ALWAYS losing even if you win. Likewise in my country the daily wager is around 50 euro. If you are earning daily this amount with gambling, but you're playing the whole day... well you're just pairing the two amounts and that's all. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Sim_card on May 15, 2025, 11:27:26 AM Of course managing our losses is very important by using only little amount of money that you can afford to lose to gamble. Also if you have lost your bet, there's no need chasing your losses because you will still gamble tomorrow. So always be ready to let go of your losses, and hope tomorrow will be a good day for you. You can't win the house edge as a regular gambler.

Gambling is never a place of money doubling rather a place of having fun and easing stress over the time, maybe at the time of gambling gambler may decides to stake with very little amount and have winning, this doesn't generally mean that they focused on that winning. While those who uses gambling a money doubling source would always be desperate of winning, at this point you would see them becoming that restless because they are looking for all possibilities to win but deep down they keep losing that is why those who didn't have that focus of winning big amount always ends up winning. Winning comes when they are least expectant to it, that is why those who do that expecting winning hardly see it coming, so the best is gamble with the amount that you can afford to lose, or possibly 1-10 percent of weekly/monthly income.Win today, you will be back, and that's what makes casinos the winner. Thats right, the casino is always the winner but there are exemption to that as some users who won pretty much profited huge one often stop. At least for some users who chooses to be contented on what they gains. Once you always wanted more thats the time youll be ending up loser and its a fact. You have to survive throughout the ups and downs. I find it funny that people are criticizing you for playing with small money. I guess that they want you to spend ridiculous amounts and waste everything, so that they could laugh at your expense. That's why I never gave a damn about other people's opinions. The best thing is to keep your gambling activities a secret. If I ever win big, I don't think that I would go away from gambling. I can't find a reason why should I do such thing. I would only go away from gambling if I ever become a gambling addict and lose everything. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: JoyMarsha on May 15, 2025, 12:01:35 PM Gambling is easier to quit when gambling for fun and less expectation to win. The moment the idea of gambling has changed from gambling for fun to a huge amount of money to be won, that's how the gambler will keep finding their way back to the casino now and then, even when they have won. Because they thought by risking it all in gambling to win big will ever stop them from gambling, which will not. The urge for continuation will still be there, it's hard to beat that when the mind is focus on winning big.

Maybe you are referring to a big win that could be in tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars and above. Except it is a lottery or jackpot win, I doubt if I would win such an amount considering how much I use for gambling. I don't have access to statistics that show the behavior of big winners, if they quit gambling or continue. But most of the stories I have seen online showed that they kept gambling. Some of them even went to the extent of gambling off all the won. I am also a low-risk gambler. But if I ever win big, it wouldn't stop me from continuing gambling. But I would ensure that the money is used for something profitable and not spent on gambling. My gambling budget might not increase because there are so many things to do with money from big wins. Those that are happy winning $10 are the types that if they were lucky enough to hit something decent, they might quit forever. Those that want the million dollars likely would just keep going trying to hit 100 million and busting.

The simplest way of tackling this is by betting with the intention and mindset that the outcome wont go as you wants and that no matter how long you keep playing, you going to stick by that statement for you to be fully free or stay in the trap properly as long as you want. Gambling is designed to be fun and for those who can afford to throw away some of their money. If someone has illusions that they can become rich overnight by playing for large sums, then their fate is to receive lessons from the universe regularly. If you make a list of those lucky ones who got rich on gambling, it will be negligible. Moreover, winnings happened to such people completely by chance, without any kind of strategy. Therefore, play with small sums, and indulge yourself with the dream that one day you will be lucky, but do not escape the reality of life.

I think this is the obvious though, but there are still gamblers who really wanted to continue to play despite this never ending storm as you describe. Even I have heard a lot of horror stories, like a cab driver who just drove someone in the casinos. And then he decided to play and win a lot of money. But then in the next day, he comes back thinking that he can duplicate what he had done, unfortunately, he didn't and so he become addicted chasing that same experience of winning. However, there are also smart gamblers within here that maybe as some point, they learn their lessons, so they either stop and minimize their gambling activity or just play to have some fun. It doesn't matter if you bet a little, because maybe that's the amount you can afford. Those who bet in large amounts are not necessarily bad, because the abilities of each gambler are different. Every gambler enjoys betting and playing in their own way. It doesn't matter if they are having fun or are looking for profit. The most important thing is that they know the risks of what is at stake and do not need to increase those risks, especially for long-term gamblers. Gamblers will come back to gamble again, even if they win big or lose big. Some stop their activities temporarily, but in the end will come back to play. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Jaycoinz on May 15, 2025, 02:14:24 PM Of course managing our losses is very important by using only little amount of money that you can afford to lose to gamble. Hope is what have lured many gamblers into the situation they are now and am talking about getting addicted through the hope they have to get that win. Although I know you are talking from a different angle but what I mean is that sometimes gambling try as much as possible to replicate a certain win that they have gotten in the past and this ends them in a very bad situation because that hope of you have done it and can still do it will vanish into thin air when you start. I created a thread on this board way back 2 or 3 years ago in this same matter where I explained how a casino can be beaten by a gambler, and In that, I said the one and only way was to win a big amount of money which automatically puts the gambler in a big profit, then leave casinos and gambling for ever, such gambler succeeded in beating the casino, but unfortunately, most gamblers can't do this because they are never satisfied, one win will instigate the hunger for more, so the keep playing even more than they played before that first win, and before they know it, that have lost even more than what they initially won, this is gambling. I agree with you, most of us didn't choose gambling for fun because that is the only thing we want from it, we chose it out of necessity. If you are gambling basically to make money you can push yourself to addiction because of the house edge, there's always high chances of losing than winning. Maybe you can hit the jackpot and quit for good but you don't know when that is going to happen and you can keep chasing loses and never win big. The best strategy to gambling is to use amount that you can afford to loose so you can enjoy and not put too much pressure on yourself to win. Heads up, to all of you gamblers running after a must win, the question is will you win and walk away from gambling forever? Because this is sadly but truthfully way to win gambling for real. I also agreed with you that gamblers are losser but then when luck comes your way and you win big, you forget about the loses you had all the while. And at that time we forget that we should only use the amount of money in gambling that we have the ability to lose.Depending on the financial condition of each person, they use different amounts in gambling. Again, even if they win, it depends on the amount of their bet. However, someone, despite being financially weak, panics after seeing the gambling winnings of a rich person and starts betting a large amount. Just some days ago, a new Pope was elected and guess what, people either made more money or lost some money because they were smart enough to want to make quick cash from gambling on the outcome of the selection process which of course led to the final selection.
Gambling is of course a never-ending storm and as such we see different forms of it and even newer platforms like online casinos emerge all the time, just to keep gamblers gambling more with interesting new games and this makes it harder to break free from the habit of gambling . Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: condoras on May 15, 2025, 04:14:11 PM Everyone is different. Some people are ok with winning $10 and some will not be happy until they win $1,000,000. Those that are happy winning $10 are the types that if they were lucky enough to hit something decent, they might quit forever. Those that want the million dollars likely would just keep going trying to hit 100 million and busting. It depends mostly on which game you bet on. If we are referring to sports betting, getting $1 mil will either require a serious amount of money in a low-odds game or a lesser amount but in an insane-odds parlay. If you want to get this million through slots, then things are getting far worse. You can hit it in a day, a month, or most likely never. Especially in online casinos since they don't have chain slots jackpots. So better getting $10 every time, rather than chasing the incredible. Some time ago, i was gambling with huge amount and got some big wins in a physical casino shop and the gamblers there were applauding my bravery not until i lost all the money i won that was when i overhead some of them saying that i was a fool for gambling with higher amounts, i learnt something that very day. Gambling with very little amount and winning little gives you a sense of responsible gambling because you will never in any way be affected when you lose considering the little amount you gambled with and it even makes gambling more funful that way unlike someone who stakes huge and loses huge.Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: nara1892 on May 15, 2025, 04:55:40 PM Of course managing our losses is very important by using only little amount of money that you can afford to lose to gamble. Just make it sure that you wont be ending up on getting addicted because this is where people usually be ending up with having this kind of situation just because they turned out to become greedy at the time that they've been that dealing up with it. The never ending thing always pertains about into those gamblers who had become that addicted on which it causes up for them to spend up tons of money and this what makes these businesses becomes alive and profitable. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: mindrust on May 15, 2025, 05:40:25 PM That’s a wise approach. Games are designed in a way to give more advantage to the casino over the players and that’s not against the common sense.
Some gamblers ignore this fact and try to be the winners in the long run and they burn themselves out. They are simply trying to beat the casino in the most stupid way, making hundreds of bets forgetting that the house edge is there to ensure their loss in the long term. So what’s the healthier, wiser approach? Easy. You make bets to have fun. As simple as that. Your words are not unreasonable. In the case of gambling, some people think that if they do not take risks, they will not be able to win big, which is why they put money into gambling beyond their capacity, then their situation can be very bad. There are some who believe that if they can survive in gambling for a long time, there will be a possibility of their winning big at some point. This idea cannot be denied either. There is another person somewhere that may see the amount you bet and think that the amount is too big to be risk and that's how it's to you when another person bet an amount you think it's huge. In the long run, if the person can comfortably bet that amount and lose it and don't feel like they are financial handicap, then they are good to go. I know of a a particular guy that bet huge amount of money in his bets. He doesn't do that before but what happen? He is a very good analyst and knows his ways out on gambling, he was lucky with his usual bankroll, he made it to the top and he increased his wager and guess what, he never stop winning. The amount he do use to wager is very big in my eyes but small in his eyes because he always have his own way of winning one bet to make back all the money lost. Gambling companies are still in business because of this obvious reality that's known by all but the urge to win always blinds people.A friend has been on a winning stretch for a while now and the way he does it, it makes it look too simple that you will think that you're going to be winning every time. In the long run, the circle will still get to him and the win will eventually come to an end but what will be left will be memories of wins which will keep him all glued to thinking that he can always continue winning like he used to. Gambling is the kind of storm you aren't forced going into. If you don't want to get wet, don't expose yourself to the rain and you will remain dry, safe and sound! People don't necessarily need to gamble to the point where gambling becomes a problem for them. I honestly can't relate to any of these things, and that’s why it gets me wondering what would make someone become so addicted to gambling that chasing money through it turns into a problem for them. Are they just lazy and have refused to get a job? Are they just unlucky with becoming successful responsibly, hence the need to chase after gambling money? Or are they just being greedy? Addiction and other gambling problems don’t start overnight. It starts when the individual begins to give too much attention to gambling, and eventually, they begin to battle some unknown storm. Gambling moderately from the onset can prevent gambling troubles. I wanted to but I just have found my new favorite game, it is crash and I keep waiting to hit that big of a multiplier, I keep waiting lost after lost bet in the event to hit at least some over x2000 with a decent bet, like 2-3 dollars that I am playing on a spin. Now that would be nice to hit but so far max I have hit has been 15.72x as I have been very nervous when the multiplier starts to add up and moving very fast. I know I should wait and call it a loss if it happens to crash before my target multiplier yet the rage and sadness you feel when for example the multiplier crashed at 75x and you wanted more while you get nothing, I have no words to describe them, it is the worse feeling in the world. So yes gambling is a never ending storm, the only things that keeps me playing is the bonuses and increases of VIP levels. You can't win the house edge as a regular gambler. Yes, lose management is very important, the question is that how can you manage your loses, the thing is that we have to understand the situation of gambling before you put in big amounts of money in the gambling, so I believe that gambling with small amount of money make you to have a reservations, because when you frequently with big amounts and you don't have another thing that's brings the money often, to replace the one you have lost, then, it's when you will have a benefit from gambling, so I believe that in the gambling the only thing that will make us not to think too much in gambling is when we gamble with what we can afford to lose.Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Cantsay on May 15, 2025, 10:04:20 PM Heads up, to all of you gamblers running after a must win, the question is will you win and walk away from gambling forever? As long as the little you stake is what you can afford and you derive joy in placing bets, then that's very much okay, and you should not care about what other gamblers say. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: mirakal on May 15, 2025, 10:22:09 PM Once you win, some bettors are also losing, so the casino is actually enjoying the profits as well. Otherwise, if casinos are consistently at loss, no one would last longer in the market since having a casino is a business, not just a free source of entertainment.
Now, the fact that you could win bigger after a single win, that's the reason why gamblers bet again chasing for their luck. While responsible gamblers do not chase their luck after a big win, and just leave the casino and call it a day. In my view, if a person is gambling and has an addiction or is just gambling, he needs to go with a lesser bet. The profits may be low, but the chances of winning are high, and the loss is minimal. So, if he has an addiction or anything, then he will not harm himself and will smoothly continue his gambling activities. However, people come to the casino, and the reason is that they need money, and the casino is the place where you can earn money through your cleverness and enjoy yourself. So that may be another reason they come to casinos.

The roller coaster ends whenever we want it to end, actually. It is up to us and whether we want to keep gambling or not. For example, I have a friend from Chile who is not a regular gambler at all, he was invited by some friends to a casino, the biggest one in his city and he accepted to go there and gamble a bit for fun. He decided to play blackjack against the house and he ended up winning about fifty dollars before taking his chips and exit the casino with his friends, in the end, he never went back to the casino and pocketed fifty dollars. I know and I am aware it is not the same case for all people who starts in gambling, but when one starts and luck in one's side, it is possible to walk away with positive balance in our hands and never to gamble again or perhaps in years, just like my friend did. The house edge works in the long run and with many attempts we do, not in the short term. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Ryu_Ar1 on May 15, 2025, 11:48:48 PM Who criticizes a player just because they took a small gamble? If that were the case then I would be one of the people who would argue about this.
Gambling is free to be done by anyone and any amount of money is used as a bet because everyone is free to do whatever they want, it would be very funny when a player criticizes another player just because they gamble with a small bet because as if gambling is done must be with a lot of money. We are free to do whatever we like in gambling regardless of the size of the money we bet, of course, things like this do not matter because we will not harm others if we lose because it is purely our own money and that may be the limit when we can afford to lose money in gambling. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: sheenshane on May 15, 2025, 11:54:45 PM The house edge works in the long run and with many attempts we do, not in the short term. I don't think it will always happen on the first attempt, sometimes you get nothing, or if you win right away, it could trigger your addiction. Keep in mind that over many plays and a prolonged period, the reality of the house edge ensures that the casino almost always comes out ahead. That's how they designed it, and they’re not exactly a charity. :DIMO, the initial taste of winning can emotionally hook people and lead to addiction, even though statistically, the long-term odds are against them. It may be that the brain releases dopamine, making the player feel excited and optimistic. This kind of behavior encourages them to continue playing in hopes of repeating or even surpassing that win. Risking as little amount that you can afford to lose is the right way to enjoy the market and also be contended with the games no matter the circumstances you find yourself in while involved in the process. Risking little money is the best because it also gives you the opportunity to come back another day to try again while trying your luck to hit the jackpot one day. Even those that play it for fun have some addictive traces that allows them to still come back again to try their luck out. It's breathtaking, but the main thing to remember is that it's better to exit at the peak - when the deposit has increased from winnings.
I always regret when I decide that I need to spin the slots a little more to make plus thirty percent to the deposit, leading to the end of leaving the game with a deposit value less than it was at the beginning. This is the same for people who are so eager to pay for plane tickets, accommodation, and food service when they want to have a vacation in another place or country. It seems to me that something else is meant here. When a person pays for something (spends money), he expects to receive something specific. A person wants to get excited from gambling, the expectation of winning, because this is the essence of gambling. But if a person starts playing with an initially negative mood ("I'm going to lose anyway"), then what does he want to get? If he has no expectation of winning, then what is the pleasure of gambling? Is it really interesting to watch the process as the slots spin? Initially, a negative attitude as a principle is absurd for a gambler. Therefore, the question arises, then why play at all? I always hope that I'll be lucky, and that's the only thing that motivates me to bet. I think most people are the same. Just like how people are paying for travels when they wanted to have some vacation in some area or outside the country. So are you saying that these people who are spending their money are absurd since they lost money anyway? Is it absurd to pay for our meals? We need to accept most people can't find the fun or happiness in gambling. It is not a mystery but the interest of the person involved. If they take fun in gambling then that is the reason why it is ok for them to lose money when engaging in gambling. This is the same for people who are so eager to pay for plane tickets, accommodation, and food service when they want to have a vacation in another place or country. If you explain the fun in gambling, they will say it's wasting time and money, you get nothing because the game is always same and you didn't get something new. It's different with party, vacation, watching movie, etc, because you will invite different people, you will experience different places, you watch different movies. That's what they said. If a bet allows me to win big like a jackpot in the lottery, will I be back to gambling? Probably still but it won't be the same as before. I'll allocate some money on it just to have fun and to go back to the traces on why I've got a good living because of the prize jackpot that I've won.Heads up, to all of you gamblers running after a must win, the question is will you win and walk away from gambling forever? Because this is sadly but truthfully way to win gambling for real. If you win today you haven't escape, because you will be back, correct me if I am wrong, those who choose to have fun with gambling knows why they choose this because they know deep down that they will always be here. Win today, you will be back, and that's what makes casinos the winner. I'll make sure that it won't be the same anymore as before because I've read a lot of stories that have won a lot of money and yet, they're back to their former living because they didn't manage their money well. It's about how we'll manage to discipline ourselves and if we're winners, we'll have to be careful on how it will secure our profits and so even if we keep on coming back. We've already secured what we own. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Ochan_yazo_tochant on May 16, 2025, 07:48:34 AM As one member mentioned, gambling is similar to other hobbies such as travelling or buying books; we spend money and fuel without expecting material profit. The difference is that gambling carries the risk of addiction that can destroy the financial and emotional balance. So, if we treat it as a hobby, let's use the same logic,we allocate a predetermined amount, and enjoy the moment without dreams of getting rich quickly. Real entertainment lies in control, not in the game, but in ourselves.

The caveat in gambling, just like in trading too, is to stake what one can afford to lose. It doesn't matter whether it's small amount or not. For me, I don't think those who even stake little amount are better off than those who stake large funds. Just make sure what you're staking isn't something that gives you nightmare. But sometimes, the problem is that after reaching a big win, they aim for a bigger amount again, and so on. Others come back because they are not content with the amount, especially if it's just a small amount or just a daily, weekly, or monthly target. Contentment is one of the keys if one wants to keep their winnings.

It would definitely give you an advantage by offering a stronger emotional preparedness and not really making you stand more chances to win, unless for P2P games where you need more confidence and and emotional strength and tactic to win the opponent. In this situation, we can conclude that it turns out that success in achieving victory can cloud a person's consciousness and plunge them deeper, meaning that understanding what and how gambling really is and also maintaining a level of consciousness when you are playing is something that is very important to do, because everything will be fine in the sense that you will not exceed your limits when your common sense is maintained. At least that way you’re not risking more than you can afford and you keep in control. This is one of the reason why we can still boldly call gambling as a way of being entertained because one of the reason behind us not leaving been after we might have won is because of its entertainment benefits we get, the more we are playing the bigger the fun we have and we may be triggered the more to continue until we have nothing left for us to use to gamble, which is why many referred to gambling as being entertained. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Outhue on May 16, 2025, 02:13:54 PM There is always another question here: if you claim that eventually everyone loses and you will lose too, then why play at all? Yes, reducing your bankroll and reducing your stakes will allow you to lose less money and ultimately lose money more slowly. But I can only repeat my question: Is your goal to lose money, even slowly, even a small amount? Isn't it absurd to want to play games that you know you will lose? A separate question is how much pleasure you can get from losing. If you lose, even if it's small amounts, what do you enjoy? It's always been a mystery to me. I would like to return the question, does those who paid for a party does not enjoy it? Are those who pays the ticket to watch a movie regrets because they paid for it? You can pay for a party and not enjoy it, I believe you are talking about been the invited guest right? I've been to parties where I regretted going because their food sucks, or the location is a very bad place, I remember one where I drive down to the location it was a very bad road and I ended up spending money to fix my car, I regretted it. People who paid for ticket to watch movies sometimes are not happy because the movie sucks, are we in this same world called earth because I am surprised with your question, some movies are just bad that people will complain watching them at the cinema. I understand where you are coming from but these two examples aren't accurate with the way you talked about them, I strongly believe that nothing comes for free too, gambling is fun but many gamblers don't see it this way, they risk money to make money, to them it's this or nothing. Yes you're very right on point in this statement, I think wining sometimes in gambling looks like a trap because when you win the urge to go for more will always be there, that's why I personally chose to gamble with what I feel I can lest go even though I win a bet today for instance, I will still want to gamble with what I won't be bothered with, for me, I think individual gamblers that practice gambling for fun understands the concept of gambling as such they follow what gambling was actually meant for, I think casinos understand that humans have unsatisfiable wants as such they know that some gamblers will be coming for more if they win or even lose thats why they aren't bothered when a gambler win, so at the end the will always be at the profiting side just as you said. Win today, you will be back, and that's what makes casinos the winner. You only view it like that if you are using it as source of income. I don’t view most of my losses clearly because I’m gambling just for fun. I check only my profit that makes me happy while move on to all my losses. This way you can enjoy gambling by being entertained on games they offer. You will never feel happiness on gambling if you will just gamble with only aim is to gain profit because it’s impossible to do that long term. I am trying to understand what you meant. You don't have to turn gambling to a source of income for you to always be back here for more, even those who are having fun gambling can hit a jackpot but my point still stand the same, they will be back. Even those who won millions through gambling find it very hard to move on and enjoy their lives away from gambling activities, they always come back, so it doesn't matter.. It doesn't matter if you are a serious gambler, irresponsible gambler or someone who likes to gamble once in a week, fun or desire to make money will drive you to make a comeback. As we all know it, gambling is purely luck-based, your understanding of life and how chaos, luck, and destiny work isn't going to give you any advantage unless you are playing a competitive game where you skills and understanding matter, and even then, understanding of the things you mentioned isn't relevant and one only needs to have a basic know-how about how the game works and how they can play so that they can stay in the game longer than others, this works in poker, for example. Other than that, no knowledge or experience or anything can give a player a competitive advantage in gambling, but it's only luck that gives you an edge against the house when you are gambling. People often think that they can stay profitable in the long run if they either apply certain strategies or gamble carefully, but these are all myths, you can't stay profitable in the long run no matter what you do if you are playing casino games. One thing a lot of gamblers don't understand is that it's quite easy to start gambling but ending it is always a long process and for no reason should anyone buy you into the idea of wanting to gamble more knowing the do's and don't cause they won't face the repercussions with you when it happens, they may be present to cheer you up during your wins but when you start getting out of control you'll know everyone is after themselves... Stay at the side of gambling with low risks and enjoy the fun you get that's all. Stay at the side of gambling with low risks and enjoy the fun you get that's all. The brain and mindset are what determines whether this will be just entertainment or an unstoppable addiction. I have that experience, and to be almost addicted, but I decided not to hold the money completely for myself. I handed it over to my wife as a way for me to control it. It's true as you said, the long process of quitting is a problem faced by beginners. Every time you have free money, the brain will start thinking, is it used for gambling? if the ego wins, then this will be the choice. But, as an effort to control so as not to exceed the limit, not holding your own money is an effective way. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Hispo on May 16, 2025, 11:25:37 PM On the long run, players are the ultimate losers, this is why I choose to be a humble gambler who risk very small money, people critize me because I choose to risk too very little money, they keep saying I won't win a lot, but I don't care, because the roller coaster never ends. Don't listen to them. You're on the right path, and one day they'll envy you for the wisdom that saved you from unnecessary risks. Choosing to only risk small bets doesn't mean you can't win large sums, as sportbetting offers many options that can fit your budget. Like you, I only risk small amounts and bet on the exact result of matches. It's true that I haven't been lucky enough to win a large sum of money yet, but I won't stop trying as long as it doesn't cost me more than I can afford to lose. Being realistic, the possible reward is directly proportional to the risk the gambler is willing to take on sportbetting and also on casino games, so it is very unlikely small bettor or penny gamblers will ever get a significant amount of money out the casino. That is a reality we need to keep in mind. Regardless of that, I agree if one is not willing to risk more money one feels comfortable with, then it is the proper thing not to allow the opinions of others to influence the way we manage our money and the risks we take. If we suddenly started to listen to those kind of people who encourage us to gamble more and bigger, we would rapidly lose control over our finances and in the worst case, we would blame those people who encouraged us to gamble more in the beginning, when we are the only ones responsible for our choices. They won't allow the casinos to take back what they have gained because of what was lost from them already. Every time you have free money, the brain will start thinking, is it used for gambling? if the ego wins, then this will be the choice. But, as an effort to control so as not to exceed the limit, not holding your own money is an effective way. Before you start playing, separate the funds for your basic and other important expenses. And just use the money that you feel you can deplete or should I say, you can burn from this addictive activity. Because if you won't contain your spending habits, you will see that before you know it, you already busted all your money. At least, be conservative with your expectations so you won't be regretting going into this addictive habit. The fun and entertainment will always be there. But if you are financially struggling, the considerations may vary when you go into this activity. Should consider that there are other ways to entertain yourself if you have serious financial problem. What matters the most is why you are gambling, and how are you gambling. Are you spending some pocket money to have a little bit of entertainment? Then you are doing a good job, and no problem with that. As a vice this is not in any worse than the majority of people who will have a couple of drinks or cigarettes, if not more. They also waste money on all kinds overpriced entertainment, so who is to say to you that your choice is bad. Sure, there is some risk always that it will get you increasingly addicted. But plenty of other types of entertainment or leisure type activities are dangerous in their own way. If you win today you haven't escape, because you will be back, correct me if I am wrong, those who choose to have fun with gambling knows why they choose this because they know deep down that they will always be here. Winning is actually what hooks you, not the specially crafted interface or something like that. Most people are simply unable to handle easy money, and this corrupts them. Just look at many lottery winners.Regardless if you're a heavy bettor or just a small time bettor, we all are gonna lose more than we win eventually. That's always gonna be the reality of gambling. Wrong. Is your Netflix subscription a loss of money then? If you are doing it for entertainment and it is under control, then it is the cost of entertainment of your choice and not a loss. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Tungbulu on May 17, 2025, 01:57:38 AM You are right mate, having much expectations in gamble will ruin the gambler. If not gambling for fun the rest is something else because you to win is not an easy task. Although some gambler really thinks that they can put up hard works to predict their games and win but it's not possible that way. So many of those gamblers (even those who claim to be professionals) that trust and depends solely on their hardwork or skill for gambling success always end up getting into trouble more times. And it's quite funny that so many gamblers (even on this platform) still believes strongly that gambling for fun is bullshit, and that everyone who claims to gamble for fun are nothing but dishonest junkies who knows the truth (that everyone gambles for money) but won't admit it. And actually , I do feel sorry for these kind of people, I really do.Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Out of mind on May 17, 2025, 02:54:20 AM Gambling is an addiction that is very difficult to get out of. If a person wins a few times, it is not easy to quit gambling. Many people start gambling with small amounts of money, while many people who have most of their money always gamble with large amounts of money and are unable to come back from it. There are many people who do not win in gambling, but they cannot give up their greed. They are hopeful that they will get something good in the future, but their money runs out like this. So I think that a big win will never make a person quit gambling, but rather his greed will increase. When gamblers win a lot, their greed increases and they become addicted to winning, so they are more at risk, then it becomes very difficult to come back.

This also applies to other facets of life. I see it a lot in my working discipline, we do lots of convictions, employ several strategies to sell our ideas to clients in order to pull off with contracts. So, I see these factors play out most times, especially when you are sure you sure not the most qualified, but somehow you managed to play your cards very well and turned the favorite. When gambling, you directly encounter Chaos, Destiny and Luck. These are the entities that play a very large role in your life, but only gambling allows you to study these entities in all their original power and strength. This is an extremely useful and exciting activity! Quote Gambling plus philosophy can bring great benefits to the player. It is during the game that the player can develop those life tactics and strategies that he can then successfully apply in real life. It would definitely give you an advantage by offering a stronger emotional preparedness and not really making you stand more chances to win, unless for P2P games where you need more confidence and and emotional strength and tactic to win the opponent. Another good point is that gamblers are very logical and can analyze situations easily and come out faster with great decisions.Understanding the very essence (the very basis) of our life will give the player a competitive advantage over other people who poorly understand such entities as Chaos, Luck and Destiny A few years ago I was lucky enough to meet a psychologist who used games as a method of working with clients. He was a very unusual psychologist, for example, he never rented a place to live, but lived in his clients' apartments, as he believed that this would help him study human nature as well as possible. He created complex psychological games, in the form of a series of parties or multi-day trips with a large group to nature. Players had to interact with each other, performing complex tasks together, and he carefully observed each one, and at the end gave each one very valuable and deep feedback. His games included economics (that is, a skilled player could not only receive psychological help and learn a lot about himself, but also earn money). His games also included elements of gambling. He was interested in a variety of entities - Chaos, Luck, Destiny, Power, Money, Love, Relationships, etc. This psychologist very often repeated that games are the easiest way to change and expand your life strategies. Most of us gambling will not take full responsibility of what we do, because we know already that they are not perfect enough to be recommended, and its also a shame that there's nothing they can do to help the situation improve as they are gambling, this makes it turned a storm on them because it is beyond their own personal control. The development of gambling addiction is directly related to a culture phenomenon observed nowadays in Generation Y onwards, which has as essential elements wide access to internet and emergence of social influencers. The average folk aims the social influencer as his personal concept of ideal life. The social influencer makes a living from the average folks who watch him in a daily basis, so he can afford a luxurious life standard. On the other hand, the average person doesn't have means to copy that lifestyle, but the social influencer sells the idea he can somehow... And there comes the idea gambling can help the common citizen to achieve his financial dreams overnight, just like the social influencer he idolizes did! After all, people are being encouraged to become greedy and impulsive, because it's profitable for the ones at the top of the pyramid. And with greediness, comes laziness as well, because if profit can't be made instantly, people immediately lose interest. Yes, discipline is crucial not only in gambling but also in other activities. But the problem is that many gamblers, especially addicted gamblers, are too susceptible to emotion during a losing streak, and the realization that you have to stop comes too late, ie, when the deposit is already empty. Not because a gambler heard someone won a huge amount, he wanted to duplicate the winning thus he bet aggressively hoping to also win a huge amount. Btw, an addicted gambler already lost its control since he already can't control the urge to gamble. I think an addicted person needs a serious medical attention in order to recover the control. If a gambler is already addicted, control is almost non-existent so it is not a matter whether gambling is hard to control or not since there is already no control at all. We all bet in different amounts, but the most important thing is knowing we should only gamble what we can afford to lose. For some of us, $20 is nothing just snack money. But for others who don’t even earn that much in a day, that’s already a big deal. And yet, they still gamble. I know people who make less than $10 a day, but when they’re gambling, it’s like they’re throwing in their whole paycheck without a second thought. That’s when it stops being fun and starts becoming addiction. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: DaNNy001 on May 19, 2025, 03:27:21 PM Gambling is easier to quit when gambling for fun and less expectation to win. Gambling becomes a problem when you mind is centered around making Profit... gambling cannot be a source of income and the earlier you accept it the better for you..But there are Still a small percentage of gamblers that gamble for fun and still end up getting addicted..The most important thing to take note of is to always keep everything you do in moderation, doing anything excessively is bad.. whether you gamble for fun or Profit have a limit Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Hispo on May 19, 2025, 04:30:57 PM ... I agree because it is very important to always make sure that we only gamble with the amount of money we are ready to lose, the amount of money that is left after all our needs are met. Therefore, we should not act stupidly, by risking the money we have just for something that we are not certain to get, while behind all that our needs have not been met. Try to think longer, defeat is something that we will definitely get, don't let our stomachs rumble just because of gambling, especially if we have dependents. When we only have a fairly low income, it does not mean that we should not gamble, we can gamble, as long as we know when it is time to gamble, because it might be more beneficial if the money you deposit on the gambling site is used for something else that is more useful, such as saving it for emergency funds or to add to supplies. You can't win the house edge as a regular gambler. Managing loss is very difficult and almost impossible those who can manage the loss of gambling are able to winning in the long run. Managing losses is not about winning money and beating the house, but rather keep a minimum of responsibility on our losses and not to go further into recklessness because of the amount we have already lost. Anyways, in my opinion, it is obvious one should never risk more than one is able to lose to one's own bad luck... I'll guess. Probably the ones that are saying that you will not win a lot are those gamblers that are spending too much money from gambling. Well, I wonder if they're making money, or losing too much from gambling. :DHeads up, to all of you gamblers running after a must win, the question is will you win and walk away from gambling forever? Because this is sadly but truthfully way to win gambling for real. No. After getting a win, I will just gamble all of those funds again until I lose.If you win today you haven't escape, because you will be back, correct me if I am wrong, those who choose to have fun with gambling knows why they choose this because they know deep down that they will always be here. Win today, you will be back, and that's what makes casinos the winner. Because of this, I don't want to spend too much time on gambling like you. I only spend a small amount of money, and that money is money that I'm willing to lose that's why I will just gamble, and gamble until I lose it all. We can stop gambling after making a win. Problem is, gamblers can't be contented with their wins and after winning, they want to win even more that's why they will gamble, and gamble until they lose it all. Probably, there are some that knows when to stop after winning a significant amount of money, but most can't stop themselves, and that's why many are saying that in the long run, casino owners are the big winners. :D Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: fruktik on May 22, 2025, 04:28:26 AM I think it is very unlikely someone who sees gambling as a way to get fun and entertainment will get addicted to wagering their money on casinos, when compared to people who want to get right out their gambling sessions... Not everyone realizes it quickly, it is the best way to stop bigger losses, and I think every gambler should do the same to avoid pressure. It is okay to stop for a while to improve your financial condition by working, and if you really want to gamble again, you can come back with a more stable mentality and more controlled emotions. Almost most gamblers have made mistakes, and that is very natural. Mistakes that have been made will be valuable experiences, which can be a reminder and strengthen the principle of never violating your boundaries. Luck in gambling is not just about big wins, these things are also luck. It must be admitted, acting responsibly is difficult, the easiest part is just saying it. If you are disciplined, gambling addiction is not going to be your problem because you can control the way that you gamble. You will know when to take risks or when to rethink the decision of risking more money. Gambling is a behaviour that you can not stop that easily but you can control how you do it. Gambling is always going to attract you as an old gambler and the cycle would not end because after you lose, you will want to win back your money and this is going to make you lose more when you try to recover again, then you see yourself going in cycle. If they stopped and started thinking cold headed they would realize that the money is better in their wallets than the wallet of the casino where they are going to deposit this money and most of the cases lose it. I think though that when you are in a storm your adrenaline is super high, so in such situation the gambler while losing have a high adrenaline which dictates him to go and deposit again which lead to losing money. You can't fight adrenaline otherwise we would not have so many addicted gamblers, the feeling of being very energized while gambling is something very difficult to forget and that is why they say there is no forever in gambling, only today. Despite that we can get some profit from gambling which they still end up taking back, it's wise that we just gamble with the amount of money that we can afford to lose. Heads up, to all of you gamblers running after a must win, the question is will you win and walk away from gambling forever? Because this is sadly but truthfully way to win gambling for real. Win today, you will be back, and that's what makes casinos the winner. The fact that you are gambling with what you can afford to let go I think it is okay and that is the best approach to go about gambling that is also gambling responsibly and what people or friends say about your way of gambling should not move or drive you because you are playing safe, if you check very well most of those people that are criticizing you are not doing better than you and that is the more reason you should not give a fuck. However, you are absolutely correct, no matter how much we win from gambling we can never stop but rather we can reduce the rate we do gamble because gambling itself has a force we can not see. It is not that easy to stop gambling totally even though you are not an addict unless one is too occupy with something very important everyday. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: silpersurfer on May 26, 2025, 11:10:42 AM gambling is something that is normal for those who already understand the algorithm of gambling itself. but for those who are very lay, gambling can be a disaster for them. so it is very relevant if gambling is said to be an endless storm, because gambling only promises a victory and never guarantees that it will win periodically. all that is just nonsense, because even if you win and become rich it is the beginning of defeat and poverty.
gambling will never end until they realize that they are being fooled by the system, regardless of whether we play with a small or large amount even if the system has not said he will win roulette. If you win the roulette you still lose, because why? because you have lost several previous games or if you are just playing gambling for the first time with a fairly large win you will still lose, because you will definitely come back and play with a larger amount. therefore stop gambling before everyone takes what you have now. even if you have goods obtained from gambling, it all only lasts temporarily. Because when you experience a fairly large defeat, all of that will be forced to be sold in order to get capital to play gambling. It is better to stake a small amount, one that can be afforded to lose; if this eventually results in a loss, it won't cause an overreaction like when gambling with a large sum of money just to win at all costs. Management is really needed before gambling and knows where their limits are to bet so that there will be no regrets due to some losses that occur. Seeing some gamblers around me, and they just play without rules, they end up experiencing prolonged stress of losing all their money and even their valuables. The important thing if you want to win big is not whether you bet big or small, it is the type of risk in the bet, the odds. You can play red or black in roulette, so when you win you will win small or play a single number, so when you win you will win big. Besides, the amounts that are considered big or smal of game will depend on each one. But if you play 0.20 in slots, and win a jackpot of $100 you will have won big in relation to you, while someone who bets $1 in slots and wins $500 will have won big for him. Those who bet thousands for them can be a small starting bet an amount that for you is huge. Every People have their own idea and choices regarding gambling and there's no use of feeling inferior if you have small money to bet on or mostly play slots. For most of the games, the house edge is near 2% so if you are playing strategically and with good analysis, the amount you would lose on an average is 2%. There are players winning large and losing large to maintain that percentage but if you are not playing bad, you'll ideally deviate to that line. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: rachael9385 on May 28, 2025, 05:36:34 PM Definitely. Good point, starting with small amounts of money can help you build confidence and it's better to play safe than to go all in. Personally, I prefer to stake low and aim high, gambling is a game of luck after all. Most people end up losing more because they always Chase high rewards by staking high but this could be detrimental if it goes sideways, it's better to always play stake what you can afford to lose. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Nwada001 on May 28, 2025, 09:34:30 PM Well, you don't gamble to chase a loss. You gamble because you like it, and you want to win. Now, as you said, it's more than good to consider any deposit as lost money, no matter if you are lucky and eventually win. That doesn't destroy the fun. It's like going out with your friends to drink beer or whatever. Money loss but great fun. If we are to approach gambling the same way we approach going out with friends—sit out, drink, have fun spend some money without expecting anything in return—gambling will be more fun than it has ever been, as it will be certain that one won't place a bet with more than an amount that's considered to be spare money, and it won't also happen frequently. But nowadays it's quite the opposite for some gamblers, as they are more interested in how much the wagered amount can raise for them.Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Su-asa on May 28, 2025, 09:36:54 PM This is true, gamblers will lose as long as they gamble and casinos will win as long as gamblers come there to wager money. It's impossible for you as a gambler not to gamble at all because you don't want to run at loss. It's a good thing to always consider losing your funds whenever you think of gambling but that doesn't mean that you should deprive yourself from gambling for fun. It's good that you should only gamble with little amount of money that wouldn't make you feel bad after losing your bet. The only way out of this is not gamble and be the casino. Of course for once a year gambling with a limited budget this can similar to doing something one has never done in their lifetime. But most people who know gambling have been trying their luck for years with no good outcome. It also depends on the person, I think. There are gamblers who have rather an easy way when comes to keep themselves disciplined and others who do not have that inherent control over themselves. In your case, you have managed to find a method (not to beat the casino and pocket money out of it in a constant and reliable manner) but rather you have found a system to keep yourself away from financial ruin due to gambling addiction and still be responsible enough to keep your family and children under a state of financial security, that is what any responsible parent is supposed to do. Though, not all parents or adults in generals are raised the same and some of them were never talked about the dangers of irresponsible gambling or money management (saving or investing), so they wrongly assume casinos are somehow made for gamblers to score big, when it is completely the opposite, casinos and bookies being businesses... But nowadays it's quite the opposite for some gamblers, as they are more interested in how much the wagered amount can raise for them.Ohhh, that's a very nice comparison. What you mean is to just "chill". I actually like that approach, and I might use it in the future, if you don't mind? I mean, there will be friends that I may want to advise, and I might use what you said to just chill while gambling. Have some fun, sit, drink, enjoy, then forget about it the next day, like being drunk on alcohol and waking up not remembering anything. Truly, gambling must be treated that way. We cannot take it seriously because it will just lead to financial problems and worse, gambling addiction. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: sompitonov on May 30, 2025, 11:38:15 AM Good point, starting with small amounts of money can help you build confidence and it's better to play safe than to go all in. Personally, I prefer to stake low and aim high, gambling is a game of luck after all. Most people end up losing more because they always Chase high rewards by staking high but this could be detrimental if it goes sideways, it's better to always play stake what you can afford to lose. You will not feel too bad when you staked with small amount that you can afford to lose, also when you gamble and you win some money, always make sure to withdraw it and spend the money on something that is meaningful to you because if you don't, you will end up regretting it later after you have lost the whole money back to the casino. Some people don't understand the unending storm of gambling because they feel they are winning but not realizing that the casino will still take back the money on a later day. If you are used to gambling, the thought of playing again always appears and you can't hold back wanting to place a bet, but it would be much better not to place a large bet at once so You can enjoy the game more Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Ricardo11 on May 30, 2025, 03:14:36 PM I think the most talented gamblers end up knowing that there is a time to play, a time to stop, and a time to wait and just watch this is one of the hardest things to learn in the art of gambling Of course, this will be difficult to learn, especially if you have money then it will not be possible to just be a spectator, over time you will return to gambling because you feel you have enough capital to bet. Maybe I will walk away from gambling forever only if I experience a big winning amount in gambling that my family can live on by giving the dreams I want for them, even though I know it is impossible and it would be a miracle if it happens to me too. Though, at the beginning of my gambling, I really couldn't deny that when I experienced winning, this was the main reason why I went back and forth to the casino to gamble. It was because I thought it was easy to make a profit from gambling but in the end, my expectations were wrong, so I changed that in the long run up to the present now. It is simply because human beings have been programmed to want more than they have currently and such insatiable nature would still drive you to gamble more to try your luck with the intention of having more wins and furthering your profits. You cannot walk away forever as long as you have gambled before, you may walk away for some time, which I agree, but you would definitely return one day and resume gambling. So why I would play with that intention I will leave gambling when I will win the high amount. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Moreno233 on May 30, 2025, 04:05:30 PM A gambler must be correct in managing his finances, he must keep himself under mature control. When a gambler has enough money in his hand, he will naturally feel more excited to gamble, but that time is the most important and the time for self-control. You have to keep yourself away from this kind of greed, you have to maintain self-control in any way. When you can stop yourself at the right time in gambling, only then you will win. Well as long as gambling is concerned we can't talk of winning when we are not gambling and as such gamblers should be ready for two things which is either to win or lose.so talking about self control, the best self control any gambler can think of exercising is to invest only what they can afford to lose when gamblers obey this golden rule of gambling they are already winning but failure to obey this rule they are already planning to lose.Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: Natalim on May 30, 2025, 04:23:06 PM If we think that gambling has no ending storm, I don't think there is anyone who is willing to take a risk. But I'd rather say that there are some bright days. Only we turn it dark because of our uncontrollable emotions, and instead of having some good times to enjoy our winning, we make it impossible due to our greed. If you think gambling is really about this. I'm supposed to say that you stop gambling in order to have peace of mind. Otherwise, you can't sleep thinking about the storm every day.

The concept of Gambling is for people to win and lose, there is going to be a balance where people win and people lose but that's in the hands of the casino to decide. If a casino is launched and operate for 30 days and people failed to win or average in 30 days, many gamblers will leave the casino and wouldn't show up again, some would even go to the point to prove them to be scam. There are people that don't get caught by casino but the numbers are scarce and rare. Till today, it's not like I don't want to play casino games or I don't want to learn, I don't feel comfortable playing something I don't know how the outcome is going to look like, I want my probability of getting my outcome be something I can guess, something I can think about and not something the casino can decide when I win and when I loss. I don't like something of such that's why I like anything sportsbook, I feel comfortable when I bet and it's not time consuming. Each of us chooses what suits us best. Greed is the most important point that destroys us, first we will experience interference with control which results in many mistakes that we will make so I think this is the only thing that must be controlled, the rest we will enjoy every game we play regardless of winning or losing but I am sure as long as someone is not greedy nothing will destroy it. Title: Re: Gambling is a never ending storm Post by: wheeljunkie on June 01, 2025, 01:29:29 PM It's hard to say that just after a big win, I'll step away and will never be back of gambling. This has already been part of my routine and that's why if ever I win big, yes I might step away temporarily but I'll be back eventually. If I win some million dollars, I might stop for long term and that will lose my appetite in gambling and I will be no longer interested on it. But that's almost an impossible win that I am talking about. And those who have won a lot, I guess that they're still back in gambling just after a days or weeks of rest. I wouldn't call gambling as a 'never ending storm' just as what you've said in your title. But it's a way of life these days and it's up to us on how we'll take it seriously. There is a problem with the way you are doing things. If you keep repeating this behavior, it is very likely that you won't be able to change course when you win big. You are creating a habit that is directly tied to your gambling, and the longer you keep this up the worse it is. That is why you see very few big winners stop when they are in such huge profit. Greed is the most important point that destroys us, first we will experience interference with control which results in many mistakes that we will make so I think this is the only thing that must be controlled, the rest we will enjoy every game we play regardless of winning or losing but I am sure as long as someone is not greedy nothing will destroy it. It is not just greed, it is also habits. This is why you must follow a strategy that you have consciously decided, track your money and never lose control. That is the only way to have a chance to be a winner. Yeah, gambling MUST only be a means of entertainment. I know it's easier said than done but it's still fun for most of us, I believe. For me when I am watching a sports even, let's say NFL for example, betting on the game makes it ever so exciting for me and more fun to watch. This is also the reason I don't have much fun playing games like dice because it's boring. I'd rather play slots despite having a low RTP compared to original games because they are more fun. I also suggest anyone gambling too much to take a small break like for a week because that helps a lot. When in the game, we don't realize when gambling turned into addiction and that break helps you reset mentality. We can just try to avoid higher losses, and we may try to will as much as possible, but no one can know whether the person will be a winner and/or a loser. |
