Title: Coin Value Histories Post by: JamesR1 on April 02, 2014, 03:41:09 PM Hi,
Is there anywhere I can check the value of alt-coins over the last month in actual values. WorldCoinIndex has quite a good set of graphs, but are there not any spreadsheets on them? Title: Re: Coin Value Histories Post by: Lindsey-Crypto on April 02, 2014, 04:05:05 PM crypto-prices.com ?
cryptocoincharts.info ? Title: Re: Coin Value Histories Post by: JamesR1 on April 02, 2014, 04:26:08 PM Thanks
They're not bad, but there are honestly no spreadsheets of daily values? Title: Re: Coin Value Histories Post by: MarketNeutral on April 02, 2014, 07:43:36 PM You mean coin price histories?
I'd like to see this, as well. I used to have spreadsheets of LTC prices back to when it was just pennies per coin. Long gone, though. The information on most coins is indeed out there among various exchange sites, but it's very fragmented. This is an historically valuable endeavor. Good luck to whoever works on this! Title: Re: Coin Value Histories Post by: bitinlet on April 02, 2014, 08:44:11 PM Been looking for this forever. Here's what I recommend - coinmarketcap.com has coins and http://coinmarketcap.northpole.ro/api/usd/all.json does a update of these. Yet, it's not what you're looking for because it's a program and doesn't store squat.
What I've been doing is literally pulling it out of coinmarketcap. But, unfortunately, I'm not consistent. It's a shame that none of the bright minds here (I'm not a programmer) doesn't create a program off coinmarketcap to store the data. So much could be done in terms of analysis. With the little data this year I've pulled I've learned so much about what causes price alterations in these coins via panel regression. |
