Title: Altcoins seems not to be movin along side with Bitcoin, Is there any conviction
Post by: GLK_100 on May 29, 2025, 04:47:03 PM
My buying should be now, safer and not a gamble...
My conviction. Better to be safe, takes a while and be sure
Than be fast and get rugged.

What is your take? Are you still accumulating or taking a break!  Smile and don't forget cryptocurrency start with CRY! Lol
Shill me good ones to add to my portfolio!

I’m not buying anything at the moment & I won’t start to buy again until the next bear market, which if history repeats will begin in 2026. I did all my buying many years ago & stopped buying for the trading stack in 2023. If we have any luck Altcoin season should start in Q3 of 2025. I will take profits then & hold a stablecoin bag, ready to buy in the bear market.

I've taken a break. The prices seem to be getting lower and we're done probably at the ATH of Bitcoin. But that's not yet, until we see more than half of its price deducted from the ATH then it would be a clear sign that we're already in the bear market. It's better to be safe and just still DCA if you are wanting to take some altcoins. Avoid those altcoins that are likely to rug and that's why you shouldn't be buying those that you are not aware of. Taking a break after selling some is fine but be ready for some potential buys again but let's see how low it will be it this time.

Same here, not to mention there's economic uncertainty about trump's tariff toward china and how in his latest tweet he implied that the deal about tariff is now broken.

Market is so uncertain that I feel kinda unsafe waiting for the next altcoin, on top of that the BTC.DOM chart can climb anytime to 71% again.
The overall market aren't convincing me enough.

"Altcoins" is just a huge category — a mixture of a few quality projects and a humongous crappy ones.

Can't really answer "Are you still accumulating?" with a simple yes or no.

Right now the conviction regarding alts is very low, and most people that are promoting a coming altcoin season are those who are deep in red numbers and hope to recover.

If we have any luck Altcoin season should start in Q3 of 2025. I will take profits then & hold a stablecoin bag, ready to buy in the bear market.
Why would it start in Q3?
