Title: Here is what I offer for your sha-256 USB thumb drive Miners Post by: Gazza1 on April 02, 2014, 07:51:08 PM $1 each
That's all they are worth. Any of them. And it doesn't even cover shipping Nuff said. Stop trying to rip people off on Amazon/Ebay for $25-90 piece. /end Title: Re: Here is what I offer for your USB Antminers Post by: roslinpl on April 02, 2014, 11:21:22 PM Well when we calculate a device worth and all those chips, plates, ant stuff + a price of a tools usage to build it + time + taxes + + + I am sure those are worth more than a 1$ :)
If someone is selling for 1$ I will buy a lot of them :) But anyway I know what you mean .. those are not the best of mining hardware devices :) Title: Re: Here is what I offer for your USB Antminers Post by: The Doktor on April 03, 2014, 02:59:45 AM I think what he means is that at $1 you will probably never ROI.

Not everyone is prepared to run an electrical monster like the S1 24/7 and pay 30$ monthly to cover expenses. Not everyone has 400$ to spend for the S1 or 3599 for the S2. Not everyone is mining for the sake of finance. I think the purpose is to have you mine to 0.01 btc. Electricity should be negligible to folks who never shut down their PC. When BTC hits 40k$ like winklevosses said it will become a perfect introduction. If btc tanks to 0 you have a pretty usb accessory, a balance to look at in your PC. You will only lost 20$ afterall. Except the part of the 40K$ BTC value, i agree to this. I'm an USB miner and i dont really do this for money, just for the fun of following this BTC trip |
