Now today, I just read that the bill has been passed. I am sure the Americans can give us a better opening into the significance of this bill, what it's about. Am really curious to know. Also, buried deep inside is a new law that bans all States from any regulation of AI for 10 years! Trump calls it the "Big, Beautiful Bill," but there are many other words which could be used to describe it.

This bill emphasizes lower tax cuts but there is a downside because there is a possibility that lower middle class people will lose social security. This bill seems pro rich and pro business, I heard that Elon Musk also objects to this bill. Perhaps Elon Musk's misalignment with this bill may have been behind the rumoured rancour that is said to be going on between Trump and the business mogul, Musk. |
