Title: The crypto week, is it a milestone or horror?
Post by: MykeAdams on July 06, 2025, 05:46:57 AM
The agenda behind the crypto week can be what could be referred to as a major milestone for the cryptocurrency industry with the United States of America making all efforts to ensure they become the world's leader in cryptocurrency assets.

Since two days ago when this news was released diverse thoughts of several persons on X has been emerging about what could be henceforth known as "crypto week" globally. From 14th July.

Quote
The House of Representatives looks forward to considering the CLARITY Act, the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act, and the Senate’s GENIUS Act as part of Congress’ efforts to make America the crypto capital of the world.

With this development, a lot of minds are expressing mixed opinions. Some saying they can't wait to see what is in store, if this could lead to a turning point in the cryptocurrency market. While there are those that are questioning the integration of decentralized coins such as bitcoin into an established centralized order. Which makes them not to accept this as anything progressive of cryptocurrency.

As a community, what your own thoughts/opinions about this development for the crypto mainstream?

Every investor would like to have a clear understanding of the laws that guide their sector. Donald Trump has promised to make the US the crypto capital of the world,  these laws will determine how he intends to achieve it. I am sure businesses and individuals in the crypto space want to see the provisions of these laws so that they know their next line of action.

I am more interested in the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act. I want to know how the government intends to promote privacy through centralized systems. This bill seeks to stop the Federal Reserve from issuing CBDC, but will it allow people to freely use privacy tools? I am expectant..

Whatever AI program that was used to assist you in writing this insipid nonsense, OP, it sucks.  I'm not buying that these are your words for a single minute--this pseudo-blog style of writing is exactly what the output would be after a shitposter input a load of flyblown horse dung.

BTW, there's no way in fuck I'm clicking on an X link OR one from the US government.

Except the OP is using other tools to humanise his posts, but I checked this original post in three different AI detectors from the AI Spam Report Reference Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456516.0):
GPTZero (https://gptzero.me/)
Sapling (https://sapling.ai/ai-content-detector)
 Quillbot (https://quillbot.com/ai-content-detector)
And the results were that it was written by a human. Maybe OP should clarify how he wrote the post.

Apart from those, I have also passed it through copyleaks. With those results I don't see that the OP has to explain anything. The Sceptical Chemist probably didn't like the OP's style at all, which is very respectable, and confused it with generated AI.

On the issue in question, I would not like to see the issue so politicised, but if it were not, it probably would not have gained the importance it has today. It seems to me that I am in a catch-22 situation.

I am struggling to get it right here pls. Are these positions of ai used tool taking center stage in the post because it is from a new? Am not dumped in real life for a newbie in the forum. I am glad you had to check the post for ai because I have before now gone through most of the rules in the forum before starting to drop contributions. Can we go back to the main topic pls?

For good things, you would still see people who would criticise it, and the same goes for bad things, you would still see people who would align themselves with it. Above all, having the crypto week is not bad, after all, it is the week to celebrate cryptocurrency, and mind you, nothing in this world is perfect.

If the centralisation within the decentralisation crypto brought (as complained) is the price we pay for the government to continue to cooperate, why not?
