it's major on our todo list :) Creating game different than dices/ponzi is difficult, because everyone is looking for an instant result of a game. In SG our aim is to make best gameplay and then add curriencies to this sauce...

I just want to tell everyone that this website looks and feels fantastic.  It has the promise to be a great site for people to play with each other!  The most important thing for this website right now is MORE PEOPLE.  

Give this a try!  You do have to sign up, but then go to the single game page and do a Pratice game with AI.  If there are other people online, you can play against them!

Now's the best time to start because with so few people, it's easy to place in the free tournaments and earn Gems.

always concerned when I hear "GEMS GEMS GEMS" and 0 description of how the game actually works :P

#EDIT: I just got one thing I think is bad.. that's the "register requirement". You should implement a function that you don't need to register. So the account will be created automatically when you navigate to the site, like PrimeDice and such.

Allright guys, we need feedback on the subject of guest gameplay.

When guest enters the game, we created temporary account (with random username & 2000GEMs). Our aim is to show him the possibilities of SatoshiGem, AI for start and PvP (which is quite unique on the market). Do you think we should allow to play guest with registered users for GEMs? Do you have anything against it? :)

I don't see how that could be bad, so it sounds fine to me!  Or it might be better to get them to sign up if they want to play with other people.

Guest account for fun is perfect! Let's them test out the game first before they decide to sign up and play for real. Excellent job on that.

I was going to check if you guys are vulnerable to Heartbleed, but then realized that you don't have encryption.  That is something you should defiantly have, especially with logins and for withdrawing.

Guys, due to http://heartbleed.com/ , we've suspended all our clients. Until coin devs release official statements txs wont be processed.

Bitcoin already released 0.9.1. Until doge,ltc,eac release it's forks/statemets we won't payout or receive any tx. Please read about it, it's really serious for everyone in the business or having their private $$$ in crypto.

Will be posting bigger update soon. Thank you for ideas, we think about voting on features, that way game will progress the way players decide.

I like the gameplay but I think it could be more streamlined and easier to move. You don't actually make moves. You make half moves and it finishes the moves for you. I would like to make my own moves!

In fact, it's possible to change this mechanism. What do you think about guys? :)

I think it would work better that way - when I tried it, sometimes I had to make a move several times until the site accepted it.

I should get a bonus for suggesting it if it gets implemented!  :P

You know you're god damm right :) We think of creating new achievements such as "Gem Visionary" - which is given after suggesting something valuable.

Ps. Achievements are already divided into branches. That is "Singles" (Square yellow shapes) / "Tournaments" (Green jelly shapes)  / "Others" (Dark grey circle shapes) - take a look below :)

Yes that's true. Few players have been rewarded with "Better then dice" more than once (which gives u 1000sats).

I played a couple of games in SatoshiGem with AI, was fun and pretty cool.  Sad this is that I couldn't play any real BTC games because therea never seems to be a player online...  -_-  It's a great idea, but you need more players and bigger giveaways to bring in the greedy people ;)

But your structure is a joke! 100satoshi games only 100health?
I lost half of my games first round so you took a skill game and made it a luck factor who gets the first turn.

320people online You have an AI system for practice. BTC,Doge,LTC games there is no need got gems that's just spreading your players and causing a longer wait time.

100satoshi, 20k, x00,000k satoshi 3m satoshi what kind limits are those?
I would make BTC your main priority with entry's of 1l 0.01$ (100 is really ruining your field) 10k
100k 1,000,000 (5$ games) 10,000,000 (50$) cap.
You can choose to leave it at 100satoshi 1/10th cent and split the players, or a reasonable 1k 1cent games.


And take out the luck aspect, all games should have max size boards with atleast 2,000 hp.


I think dogecoin and litecoin should have one entry until the player base grows (it takes upto 5minutes to get a game for 100satoshi.

We agree with the most of your suggestions... we're constantly evolving (we're online for about ~1.5 month). Although, our approach on gameplay is quite different. Our aim is to attract users with light - not so strategic gameplay, yet fun multiplayer experience.

Last week, we're working on simplifying things rather than introducing new features. Our new Business model / structure is under construction, hope you'll be pleasantly surprised ;)

And add 15minute buyin periods with open player fields high score wins, 3modes easy hard ultra hard.
All players start with the same board and has 5minutes to "kill the ai 999999hp to collect points "highest score wins, rebuys before closing period allowed.
World winner gets away taking huge fees 1$ 5entrys 3.74$ to first place or something
so imagine 0.05BTC 0.015BTC Rake 0.035BTC First place

And a 0.01btc entry 1month time period (tournament) rebuys allowed.


I'm not suggesting you start all over and go in this direction. Just saying this would be my dream site for bitcoin currency.

Yes, we did some last week. Results we're more than good. Many new players gave us feedback as newbies, that's why we're able to change/tweak some page workflows and make things simpler (ui).

We've just:
- facelifted our multiplayer panel according to player review
- added new AI practice mode

This is an interesting game, but I don't like how long it takes. Even against the PC it takes a long time to finish a game. Health should be like half of what it is to help speed things up.

I've had no lag on my end as far as I can tell. It's just the slow falling/destruction and the high health that bothers me. Maybe an option to make things speed up would help (ie. the dropping, the orbs disappearing, etc.).

We're optimizing bandwidth at websockets. Our aim is to minimize the lag. Please remember that SatoshiGem is not casual btc game like dice, slots where your play is instant without any gameplay.

It's a realtime, where players fight with each other in the same moment, have to see combo animations etc. In fact we have same problems as WoT, CS or others where your location matters (latency).  :)

We're working on that issue... next weekend we deploy major update with new gameplay modes so stay tuned :)

Very fun game, except for the lag :D, also the timer start counting before the gem asset loaded (minor, only for 1 - 2 sec).
