Registration was quite easy as expected, I was asked to produce a valid email and create a login password, which I did, a code was send to my email for verification, then that's it, that was how I login and saw that it has a user friendly interface just as the above picture entails.

Like I said before now that I haven't test run to know how their withdrawals will be. After clicking the “Connect to agent” button, I waited close to an hour to be attended by a Cloudbet support desk agent, but there was no response. This is despite the fact that the platform claims its live chat responds “under a minute”. Even with my questions unanswered, I decided to look round the casino and possibly play a few games for the purpose of this review.

A Better Job By Cloudbet AI

I wanted to be sure, so I continued with the deposit procedure to add funds. On second thought, I decided to close the chat and try again since not every representative may give the same answer. In the new chat, surprisingly, Cloudbet AI, which couldn’t figure out the answer during our first conversion and recommended a human agent, seemed to have woken up. It stated:

Deposit was seamless and instant and can be viewed in real time via the deposit window pop-up.

I had to refresh my browser to confirm that the fund was in my account. Interestingly, after making the deposit, a new pop-up window gave me the option of using the platform in ghost mode or community mode, which the platform recommends for obvious reasons. I expected to see a new notification about the Welcome Package but saw none.

Playing Crash Game On Cloudbit

The first crash game I tried to play on Cloudbet is Speed Crash Dare2Win from Hacksaw Gaming. The game had a slow loading time, so I waited for about 10 minutes before refreshing the browser. Still slow loading, I decided to play another crash game. This time I opted for NinjaCrash from Galaxsys. Same result, which is rather unusual. I had to switch to my phone to see if any of the games would load and allow me to place a bet and play.This time I tried the CashIt Multiplier game on my phone. Here’s what I got:

The same 404 page returned for the Dare2Win crash. What’s on my mind right now is how to withdraw my deposit. Good, it was a small amount. Final Thoughts

Cloudbet seems like an established casino with many games that would interest users. I wouldn’t describe it as newbie friendly, though. Not redeeming the welcome package, for instance, shouldn’t be a hindrance to placing a bet. In fact, the Welcome Package should automatically be credited to the user as soon as they make a deposit. On a scale of 1-10, I rate the casino 5.

In the "Soccer" In-play section or tab which was the automatically landing after I logged in, there were real football matches mixed with "SIM" (Simulated) ones, and that's a big no for me, I think SIM and VR matches are always and should always be on different tabs, with clear indication. 2. This actually more of a suggestion than an observation or complain, I like the fact that there plethora of betting market options to choose from for each event, but finding the intended ones sometimes can be looking for a needle in a haystack, so in the asterisked part of the screenshot below, it would be really nice if there is a search box/option to search for market options, for easier access to them.

3. Bet builder, I tried to do a bet builder parlay, but I guess it's currently not allowed so this rather is just another suggestion, I suppose. I know a lot of sportsbook do not allow combination of multiple bet builder as a parlay, however, it is becoming common practice now and it's being allowed a number of platform so allowing it might be better over all.

My honest Review

I wanted to see for myself what’s good and what’s not so great about Cloudbet, so I decided to give it a try. Honestly, a few things really impressed me, while others felt kind of average. Let me share a bit of my experience with the casino.

Turns out, Cloudbet’s recognition as a dApp was pretty low, but there weren't any forms of threats from the website.

Apple sign-in also worked without any issues, but X was a different story. It kept trying to authenticate, opening a window that would just close after a few seconds without logging me in, the X didn't work.

To double-check, I opened the site through the Rabby mobile wallet browser, and it was the same story. It seems like the site doesn’t detect desktop mode on mobile, and without desktop mode, there’s no dApp signup option. Basically, if you register with a wallet address or plan to sign up with one, you won’t be able to access Cloudbet on a phone except on a PC.

I switched back to my PC and headed into my account settings, and the first thing I checked was security. Setting up two-factor authentication was quick and easy; it took less than a minute, and I got a unique one-time recovery code as well. I also noticed the KYC option, but I’m not a fan of going through that process. Since Cloudbet allows some withdrawals without full KYC, I decided to skip it completely. You can gamble here without verifying your identity, though there are limits on how much you can withdraw.

DEPOSIT

After setting up my security, I went ahead to test the main part, which is making the deposit. Since the casino has dApp support, I was expecting to be able to deposit straight from my wallet, almost like interacting with a smart contract. But that wasn’t the case. Even with MetaMask, you still have to make a direct deposit by copying the wallet address from the casino for the type of coin you want to deposit. MetaMask works only as a way to identify your account; the casino doesn’t let you interact with it directly. So in the end, you still need to send funds manually from your wallet.

I deposited 11 USDT using the BSC chain, and the funds showed up in less than a minute, which was pretty fast. I decided to split the money in half for testing the sports games and the other half for trying out the casino games.

MY BETS

I didn’t even notice the game wasn’t being played that day, which was on 17th, it was actually scheduled for the 19th. Once I realised, I decided to cancel the bet. At this point, I had already wagered 100% of my deposits and was left with just $5.40. One thing I noticed is that the withdrawal fees are very low, even on the Ethereum chain. I used the BSC network for my withdrawal, but despite that, the same error kept coming up whenever I tried to cash out. I can’t really say if the issue was on my end or theirs, but I’ll check back again later to see if it works.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall, my experience with Cloudbet was a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the sign-up process was smooth with multiple options, deposits were fast, and the sportsbook worked well for placing bets. I also liked that the site allows gambling without full KYC, even though that comes with withdrawal limits.

On the downside, the casino games were a huge letdown for me since none of them loaded, which really killed the excitement. The wallet connection also felt limited. MetaMask only acts as an identification, and deposits still have to be done manually, which is not different from the centralised casino; there is nothing Dapp-like about the site connecting with a wallet. The withdrawals, I hope it's a minor glitch.

Can't really remember how the user interface was like some 10years ago, but from what I see on the sportsbook new icon and features which means double the fan and a more appealing sportsbook, I see casino got a face lift which is a big plus.

Let's just say the days of a fully fledged crypto platform are gone, today casinos have support for both fiat and crypto and Cloudbet has gone this route which is commendable and helps to grow it's userbase as nobody is turned away.

Upon visiting the site, the new refreshed design feels like a rebirth of cloudbet, and it's very enthralling as compared to the old school design with orange colour themes and a couple of other redesigns along the way. The current one is more engaging and makes the player/visitor want to sign up and check the platform out.

Signing in was pretty straight forward. The email verification is a good security features for accounts that have taken a while without logging in and don't have 2 factor verification set up.

When the account is open in the browser and is inactive for a while, it is automatically logged off, which is a good security measure. The problem is sometimes when you want to re-log in, the page gets stuck in this kind of loop even when you try to refresh it. It seems to only work when you close the tab and re-enter the website address in the address bar.
