The bright side is you are using VPN.Title: Re: My ip is banned by cloudflare. How come? Post by: Xtraordinarious on August 14, 2025, 03:59:34 AM Had to use a vpn to connect. It may also be due to a temporary network problem. I saw another person post about a Cloudflare problem similar to the one you posted about. If this is a standard issue, it may also be due to a technical problem. But now you can try to see if everything is working correctly. Normally, if such a problem occurs repeatedly or many users face it, you can report it to the admin panel. Since it is a problem of 1-2 people, you can clear your data and try again, and everything will work fine. Title: Re: My ip is banned by cloudflare. How come? Post by: Ojima-ojo on August 14, 2025, 06:25:03 AM Had to use a vpn to connect. The Internet space most especially crypto forums have been bombarded with DDos attacks and admin gave no other choice then to increase the security verification to protect a total taken down of the sites. Good thing is s that, with VPN you are good to go for the time being until everything goes back to normal again or better still DDos cool off a bit, previous discussion can be followed up on this issues to get the current update and suggestions from other forum members. Post by: NotATether on August 14, 2025, 07:38:16 AM Go to the devtools in the Application section, look for the cookies, and copy the value of "cf_bypass_token" into the browser you're trying to access Bitcointalk from, and then cloudflare shouldn't bother you anymore without the VPN.

If I understand correctly, this refers to mobile devices. Can something like this be done on desktop browsers? Some daily visited sites bother me quite a bit with additional CF checks. This applies to desktop browsers only, not mobile. (They don't have devtools.) Title: Re: My ip is banned by cloudflare. How come? Post by: JollyGood on August 15, 2025, 07:28:32 PM I suppose the reasons for the specific IP ban will remain open for debate, however it is safe to state you would not have encounter this issue if you were using Tor browser. Had you tried using it rather than a VPN you probably would have saved the money.
Having said that, it seems it was a temporary problem and has now resolved itself. Seems to be fixed now. |
