Title: Any particular reason not to nuke this user?
Post by: Don Pedro Dinero on August 17, 2025, 03:18:27 PM
KeiSha25 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3718389)

Apart from his first post, his short post history consists of spam all over the forum with AI-generated messages, and probably AI-translated messages, promoting a certain platform, i.e., spamming. I already reported one of his posts that was deleted, mentioning this fact, and now I see that you have written another very similar one. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5547893.msg65702673#msg65702673)

Apart from my reports, and those that other users may make, I think it would be worth considering nuke him or some kind of ban or something.

The fact is the longer you surf this forum the more you find users that ought to be nuked already but I think things have changed a bit on the forum. A couple years before now there are many that would have been nuked based on their actions.
The thing is spammers and trolls will never stop coming and I think the admins just ignore them except the do the worse before the get nuked or banned.

But I think that's not the case with low rank members. The trolls that I see roaming freely around the forum have a history here and a medium-high rank. The last one that comes to mind because I've seen him active is Excimer, but with brand new or newbies, I don't think the moderators usually think that much about taking action.

Yeah what I'm trying to mainly buttress is that the forum cares less about them currently than before. Administrators aren't that much bothered about them anymore since a majority of the time most of them are on ignore. The most important thing is not to feed them.

They create a post or thread to stir unnecessary things then we could simply hit report to off topic. Replies feed trolls and ignoring them bores them out. This is the current situation of things on the forum (in my opinion at least).

If you see someone that is spamming, just continue to report him, it will get to a point that if many of his posts are deleted within a short period of time, he will be given a temporary ban.

After the the ban is over, he will be able to post again, but if he continues his spam, he will be banned finally. The main reason people are permanently banned on this forum without temporary ban is plagiarism and not spamming.

Account is clearly only used to spam a certain service. It has been resolved. 🪄

Thank you very much. Someone from your language used AI to create a post you could catch. Actually, we are beings caught, have languages other than the international language English. But the fact that you could catch and identify it is commendable.

I checked it myself at Undetectable.ai and it was 43% written by humans and 57% written by AI.
