Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Japinat on August 19, 2025, 09:08:37 AM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? you can buy on the exchanges in the list.. big volume exchanges means they are reputable. https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/ And by the way, make sure to check if you’re even allowed to buy from the exchanges on that list. Some of them have restrictions, like Binance for example, it’s not licensed in our country. Sure, we can still buy from it, but technically it’s not legal. That’s something you should also keep in mind. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Free Market Capitalist on August 19, 2025, 09:14:47 AM Your question strikes me as a little odd because you've been on the forum for a couple of months now, and it's something you could have figured out for yourself instead of waiting for someone to hand it to you on a silver platter. But I've looked at your post history and I see that you were mining. Why do you want to buy bitcoin? Is it because your miner broke down? Or because it's not profitable for you? (I imagine you were mining altcoins, which you could swap for bitcoin.)
By the way, I've noticed that you're using the forum responsibly, and I've chosen one of your posts to give you a merit for. It's a shame I can't help you with what you asked about in it. Post by: Ruttoshi on August 19, 2025, 09:24:54 AM This is the major purpose of an exchange to buy and sell crypto. You should look for a reputable exchange in your country and create an account with them. You should buy via p2p trade with merchants from your country.
If you love privacy you can use a Decentralized exchange to buy your bitcoin. Don't keep your coins in the exchange, you should use a noncustodial open source wallet to store your bitcoin. For hot wallets, you can use Electrum wallet or Bluewallet and Sparrow wallet for desktop. However, hardware wallets are more safe because their private keys are always offline. Yeah, but can't you swap the altcoins you get through mining to bitcoin? Others have responded on how to buy bitcoins. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? I’m not sure if there is a trick to it, so I’m reaching out to see if you have any insights. Your question is too simple, you’re just asking how to buy Bitcoin which was already answered from the post above. I don’t get why you’d ask that when setting up a mining rig is way more complicated than just buying Bitcoin from whatever platform you prefer. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Rustam Meraj on August 19, 2025, 10:06:39 AM If you want to buy Bitcoin easiest and most trusted method for beginner is to use regulated crypto exchange like Coinbase or Kraken or Binance. These platforms are user friendly and secure and follow law. Before you buy you should do your own research to understand risks as Bitcoin price change much. And if you will do DCA so it will be best strategy for you. But keep in mind that do not store you Bitcoins in exchange if you have big so transfer it to cold wallet with this you have full control on you assets.

you can search on google Bitcoin ATM in London otherwise if you want to buy online I would suggest to use Binance Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Dex_master25 on August 19, 2025, 11:53:03 AM As simple as this question sounds, a new person trying to buy some bitcoins may encounter great difficulty in knowing the right channel to go through to acquire some bitcoins and as such, it would help that explanations and comments are as simple enough that anyone can understand.
Although am still a new potential in the cryptocurrency market, and newer here, i have done some digging in my offline research hours to know that the best way to buy some bitcoin is through an exchange. While there is the decentralized exchange, there's also the centralized exchange like Binance, Kraken among others of which one can download on an app store, register, fill in the kyc requirements and of course connect to your bank cards to do the transfer and get the exact amount you paid for in your wallet on the exchange or have it transferred to a cold wallet which is not a wallet provided by the exchange you bought the bitcoin from. There is also the need to understand that the price of bitcoin fluctuates in the crypto market, and it is wise for one to buy more when the price is down and sell when the price is higher. If one should know how to follow security tips of account and wallet management, then they would have become successful at owning bitcoin as a crypto investment than someone who sort the help of a physical broker to do same and are exposed to as much higher risk than just scams and hacks but kidnapping and other cybercrimes that could befall any unknowing investor from breach of privacy of investment. Although you are very new, you've given a very good answer. It may sound a bit incredible to ask how to buy Bitcoins at this point in the story, but we should keep in mind that not all people act rationally, carry out a small investigation, and choose the most risk-free options. I remember the first transaction I made when I bought my first sats. It was a payment on account to a stranger, which went right, but which could've gone wrong: it was many years ago and we hadn't much better knowledge about alternatives in my country at that time. Maybe if I've known about Bitcointalk earlier... but still. What I mean is that one can be impatient to buy his first sats, and make bad decisions. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Yeah since its quiet unbelievable since anyone could get lots of answer if they just made a research towards these kind of question. Also since he's in mining for sure that he know those basic things. Lets assume that he don't really know. So for sure that he already got lots of good answers from this thread so for sure that he could able to buy Bitcoins from those exchange given above. My first transactions is from faucets and I earn more thru affiliates then sold it on exchange. But he can also check his local Bitcoin and crypto exchangers maybe he would get more easiest option on which he can buy Bitcoin without exerting lots of efforts. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Aanuoluwatofunmi on August 19, 2025, 03:04:20 PM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? It depends on your choice, if you're buying bitcoin, you can make use of a centralized exchange or a decentralized exchange p2p, alternatively, you can as well get any other merchant trusted to sell or buy form you online or in physical, but they must be trusted or better to use an escrow service provider, which is the major function or role an exchange play when they are selling or buying for you, except you wanted to receive it as a gift or mine it yourself. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Findingnemo on August 19, 2025, 07:55:51 PM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? Are you ready to do KYC? Because the easiest option to buy Bitcoin is from a centralized exchange such as Binance/coinbase, where you need to do KYC to buy/sell/withdraw cryptocurrencies. If not then you can use Bisq like platform which is no-KYC p2p and let you to connect with the people where you can buy bitcoin with fiat too. Unpopular method, buy directly from other forum user and you can find some in Currency exchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0). Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Wiwo on August 19, 2025, 08:39:19 PM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? First thing you should be learning is how to secure your coins and doing so it means securing your wallet and for best wallet control you need a cold wallet or other wallets that give you the freedom to your assets and control through recoverable keys, this is the first steps. Secondly you head straight to exchange to buy your bitcoin through fiat and once that is done you have them transferred into your wallet for safe keeping and full control. Just avoid leaving large funds on exchange wallet regardless of the easy accessibility their promises. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Su-asa on August 19, 2025, 09:42:23 PM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? I think you have already been given answers to your question already, but I will still share my ideas with you. However there are different ways to purchase Bitcoin, one is through an exchange like binance, kucoin, bybit or Bitget, you can chose any of these platforms I suggested for you, through their P2P function you can buy bitcoin with as low as $5. But on the other hand, buying Bitcoin is not the problem, the important thing is how can you secure your Bitcoin after purchasing them? Another thing you should know is that keeping your Bitcoin in CEX is not safe because you don't control your assets. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: GeorgeJohn on August 19, 2025, 09:56:23 PM depend on what country you are, but you can also buy with BTC with Cash from Bitcoin ATM Not all countries that have bitcoin ATM machines, the easiest way to buy bitcoin if ATM is not close is by using exchange, the criteria to follow will be listed in the preferable exchange it chose, using binance is good but you need to complete your KYC verification in exchange if you wants to be buying and selling of bitcoin you can search on google Bitcoin ATM in London otherwise if you want to buy online I would suggest to use Binance Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? I’m not sure if there is a trick to it, so I’m reaching out to see if you have any insights. Is it because there are restrictions in your country? is crypto banned there, and you're mining even with that rule? There is no trick in buying Bitcoins, and the suggestions are right on how someone can buy it. Even if you're from another country, there could be a local exchange there that you can rely on. But if not, there goes the usual exchanges where people buy it and those are the centralized exchanges where you have to pass your ID for verification and KYC process before you start buying Bitcoin.depend on what country you are, but you can also buy with BTC with Cash from Bitcoin ATM While it's a good way to adopt using Bitcoin ATMs, OP or anyone interested on it might not like how much fees they possess.you can search on google Bitcoin ATM in London otherwise if you want to buy online I would suggest to use Binance Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: armanda90 on August 19, 2025, 11:32:59 PM Firstly, OP question too general asking about how to buy bitcoin without talking us where his come from and difference countries always have difference way how to purchase or buy bitcoin. Overall to buy bitcoin easily if OP not registering about local exchange market I think buy with top exchange such as Binance, Kraken, Kucoin and Huobi because that exchange have available with P2P transaction and easily for OP buy USDT firstly for buying bitcoin.
For easily to buy bitcoin I think trough local exchange and every country have own local exchange its self, such as in my country Indonesia create local exchange account verifying document ID and make deposit from bank to local exchange account based on how much bitcoin wanna buy. Just take few minutes only fiat deposit credit and then use it to buy bitcoin directly or purchase USDT firstly if want buy bitcoin with USDT pair, maybe OP can describe more where is come from and his country have been supported with many local exchange cryptocurrency market. So, without meaning to be judgmental... I imagine he left this question open-ended to see if there were any other option beyond the most basic. correct? This certainly depends a lot on the country he lives in, but I will leave the options here and OP can research further and see if they make sense for him... P2P (peer to peer): Its not exactly easy or safe... really depends on the person you are trading with, but if you know how to use platforms like Bisq for example, you can make good trade without having to go through the KYC process of centralized platforms. And here at Bitcnoitalk you can also find trustworthy people willing to negotiate buy/sell. Bitcoin ATMs: Are there any in your area? Search for it.... its an great way to get Bitcoin easily by paying with cash or credit card... it doesn't get any faster or simpler than that. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: LDL on August 20, 2025, 03:01:32 AM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? If you have an account on a central exchange, you can buy Bitcoin at any price you want, at any time. If Bitcoin is not legal in your country, you can secretly purchase Bitcoin from any exchange, select a wallet of your choice, and hold it there. Remember that you should never keep your Bitcoin on a central exchange because the exchange can face any unforeseen situation at any time. You can select a wallet and save the wallet's security system in a safe place or write it down on paper. Remember that your wallet's security system cannot be shared with anyone.Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Even though your question is very very simple, it will be very complicated for beginners, especially when buying Bitcoin for the first time. To convert fiat to Bitcoin requires a few very simple steps, such as choosing a trusted exchange available in your country and then depositing an amount of money that you are ready to invest. Some of the effective steps suggested by other users in previous comments can be very helpful in getting started buying Bitcoin. However, remember, never store your Bitcoin on an exchange, as it is very risky. Post by: Oshio-man on August 21, 2025, 07:45:58 PM Hope you know that bitcoin is not safe in exchange wallet? First, download electrum wallet before going to exchange to buy bitcoin if you are holding for long term because if you leave the bitcoin in your exchange is not safe op, to make it easy for you to buy bitcoin, I will advice you to buy through exchange and send the bitcoin to your personal wallet where only you will have access to the wallet either holding for short team or long term, you have nothing to worry about, but as a newbie you don't need to use all your fund to buy bitcoin because other people are buying from the market, and if you look very well, you will know that they don't use what they can't afford to lose to buy bitcoin.
Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Hyphen(-) on August 21, 2025, 08:06:16 PM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? P2P is the best way to buy Bitcoin, but most physical p2p do resolve to scams and most people don’t usually use it to buy Bitcoin anymore. Therefore, most people do use centralized exchanges to buy their Bitcoin because it is less riskier and most reliable way now to purchase Bitcoin. Although, the KYC involved is the main challenge here because privacy is very important and many people don’t like sharing their personal details; therefore, they will rather use decentralized exchanges (http://Kycnot.me) with good rate to buy their Bitcoin and they do send the Bitcoin out to their personal wallets after buying the Bitcoin from the exchange because holding your Bitcoin in exchanges is very risky. The answer you requested has been given to you even though you already know them and his in pretence. But if you insist I can only tell you to buy Bitcoin from any of the exchange like bitget or bybit and send to your non custodial wallet like trust wallet, electrum wallet, meta mask etc. where it can kept for a long time. And make sure you seed is intact with you because there is a slogan that says not your key not your coin.Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Last option could be a manual p2p which is buying bitcoins and meet real person to buy or sell asset which is id not recommend much for your safety too.

That’s indeed true although, haven’t registered on the forum might not translate to being active on the users part. Perhaps this user is one of those that just registers an account and don’t find the time to be actively going over what has been posted here over time. The good part is, OP has finally decided to start a portfolio and the best that could be done for OP is a walk through the procedures and safe means to buying Bitcoin. Even then, it doesn’t make the topic less generic. My advice to OP would always be, know how to secure your Bitcoin by keeping your seed phrases safe and private and ensure to use non custodian wallet in doing so before buying otherwise, OP could be waisting good money in the wrong places. In adherence to the question asked, I suggest that you first check if your country has a local exchange to which they advertise. If you do have a local exchange available, you can submit your KYC documents and purchase cryptocurrencies directly from that platform. On the other hand, I would advise to purchase BTC in Binance through a peer-to-peer transaction that is heavily regulated and monitored by their website. Lastly OP, your question has been answered several times in this forum already. If you just utilized the search bar, then you would find your answer instantly. Lastly, you can also do a quick google search to a simple question you just asked. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: MithiRM on August 22, 2025, 05:36:37 PM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? If you’re looking to buy Bitcoin, the safest option is always to use a reputable exchange or platform that has been around for years. Some of the most trusted ones are Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and Bitstamp. They offer proper security, good liquidity, and customer support. If you prefer more privacy and want to avoid KYC, peer-to-peer platforms like Bisq or Hodl Hodl are also worth checking. You can also buy directly from Bitcoin ATMs in many countries, but fees are usually higher. Whichever method you choose, make sure to withdraw your Bitcoin to a personal wallet where you hold the private keys instead of leaving it on an exchange. That way, you stay in full control.Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Cookdata on August 22, 2025, 06:27:29 PM What are easy and trustworthy options and tips? Never buy large amount of Bitcoin and buy little by little, who made that rule? What if OP already knew the risk and he is asking for the best way and safe method to buy Bitcoin instead of this advices you are given him. I will rather be concerned by the money he is using and not the amount he has to risk. What if OP is using money he borrowed or money that is so important to him and then he decided to put everything on Bitcoin. To OP, check your country where you are coming from, if Bitcoin is friendly in there you can use any decentralized exchanges where you can use p2p method, it's simple like the rest of the exchanges but you will never be required to undergo any KYC registration. However, if you don't have any means of buying and centralized exchanges is what you have, you can buy there but don't keep your Bitcoin in there, buy and transfer them to your personal wallet. You can get a hardware wallet for yourself, it's very cheap and secure than software wallets. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: DiMarxist on August 22, 2025, 07:45:29 PM Since moonpay is not working in many countries again it is hard to buy bitcoin directly to a non custodial wallet. I have been using it bit it is not working again. And I will not advice someone to buy bitcoin in exchange and send to non custodial wallets, the transaction fee is too big. Few months back I wanted to buy from exchange and send to my wallet but the transaction fee was about $13-20. But it is other coins no problem.
And the best option I can give is for the person to buy it from someone he knows as real p2p and not from online vendor as p2p. Like Alis and Joe made their transaction face to face. Moonpay was one of the best platform to buy bitcoin directly and if it is working in your country I still recommend it for you. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Franctoshi on August 22, 2025, 08:38:42 PM In order to purchase Bitcoin, you can either use a decentralized or a centralized exchange platform to Buy Bitcoin, secondly i don't know which country where you reside, so it is another thing to consider before purchasing of Bitcoin because some exchange might not be available to you in your region base on regulations or restrictions especially those that comes from US, or EU countries may face some difficulties access some exchange. Binance, Bybit, and Kucoin are some of the most reliable centralize exchange platforms out there which you can, whereas for decentralized platform you can try bisq.

Things are expensive to buy if they are useless but currently have too high prices but if they are valuable, it can be really worthy to buy them while temporarily or in short term, their prices can still be overvalued. Fortunately, because of their good values, with time and more new demands, price and value will have time to match each other. In another word, in short term, price can be overvalued or undervalued than its true value but in long term, value must comes first and higher than price. Post by: CryptSafe on August 23, 2025, 07:16:32 AM I have read lots of replies here on this subject matter, and I must say that they are good options for OP to choose from, because all are genuine ways to get bitcoin without any issues, However, it is left for you, OP to decide on which to go with but I will advise that you thread with caution while dealing or choosing a platform to purchase from so that you do not have any issues or whatsoever that would stand to obstruct your purchase.
However, aside buying bitcoin from exchanges or p2p platforms, you can render services and be paid in bitcoin if you can or your client agrees to that. That is another way to get bitcoin and it muust not be from purchase before you own bitcoin. As it is here, if you have a good digital skills tha is sort after, what stops you from creating a thread on the service board to introduce your services for members to patronise you and in exchange, you get paid in bitcoin as agreed upon. This is a very simple question, and perhaps everyone understands the best approach to buying bitcoin safely. Government-licensed exchanges are usually supervised, and buying bitcoin through them is much easier and safer. However, you can also buy bitcoin directly from the person who owns it, so you just need to make an appointment and make a transaction. This question seems like it's coming from someone new to crypto, as most people in the crypto space know where to buy bitcoin. However, it's important to remember that exchanges are only used to buy and sell bitcoin, not to store your bitcoin. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins? Post by: Zigabel on August 23, 2025, 03:20:18 PM The pool of options for the purchase of Bitcoin is soo wide that at the click on a prompt on a search engine you will see them listed out to you or if you are looking for direct recommendations there are many which have been discussed on threads here on the forum if you go through the Bitcoin Discussion and Trading boards. Asides all of this there are trusted individuals who has such assets and are willing to sell off their assets either as their business or for reasons best known to them.
There are individuals who do sell Bitcoin as their business daily they are ready to always exchange your Bitcoin for Fiat if you are willing, but there are only a few of them who are trustworthy out there so with this method you have to be careful but the most common and recommended is to buy from DEX or CEX via their P2P platforms. They have channels to report disputes if any comes up in course of the transaction, so these exchanges can be reliable to a great extent. Title: Re: How do I buy Bitcoins?
