More to the point will to be to find out *why* it is overheating. The most common reason is one of the fans not working. Use the code tag # to paste the logs here so folks can maybe see where the problem is. Title: Re: My T21 is overheating. What should I do? Post by: uefbv on August 20, 2025, 05:36:52 AM Yes. Why would you think you can't unplug it? Wouldn't a direct power outage harm the mining machine? Shouldn't I shut down the machine first and then turn off the power?More to the point will to be to find out *why* it is overheating. The most common reason is one of the fans not working. Fast shut downs do not kill gear Flicker on off on off rapid is hard in gear. Or brown outs. It voltage drops to 205 then 200 then 195 then stays at 195 till it breaks. You can turn the unit into idle mode, but there's no button or command that you can use to shut down this unit. So your only option is to unplug it directly. Since this unit is 3.6k watts, having a 25A safety switch or circuit breaker is a good option for turning off the unit. |
