The fact say this discussion already dey exit for this local board, I no see any reason to bring am out again, so far as say the translating thread dey pinned for this board, any newbie wey come here go do themselves good to read the pinned threads. The reason why moderator pin the discussion na because e dey important for that reason people to easy read through them without doing any findings. But you do well sha.

Most people will not read it, unlike if there is a new topic about it. This is a kind of translation thread that supposed to be posted as a new topic on this local board for people to see it.

In fact, I see this thread to be valid than the translation thread if the link pointed directly to the English topic instead of the translation.

If you check the local board you will see that the translation thread is already pinned, which means #igebotz have a reason for doing that.
What I mean is that, if OP have already posted the discussion on the transaction thread, I don't see any point in making another on the same board. I know he's trying to make it more public for others to see.

You did a great work. I'm a newbie and first noticed the pin posts. I tried to read the pin posts with some mistakes and understood a lot from there. It is there in the pin posts, which means it will be invaluable for the newbies who will come later.

I like what you said here, "Naija we like cheap things" We really like cheap things. I think cheap here means that we can easily find these posts in the pinned posts.

He has already created this post for others to see by adding a link. He has added a little detail and then added the link so that others all member can see this link.

What I want to discuss is that this thread is valid. In fact, I wanted to create it in English before. This thread is valid in English than the translation thread that no one is reading.

More people will see the English thread on this new topic. Let us just focus on the topic than to against the OP. This thread is better than the translation post is what I meant.

Let us further the discussion instead and let us not against OP. Many people will learn how to make transaction with less than 1 sat/vbyte on this thread than the translation post that no one will likely read.

OP, put the English link also here. This will make them not against you. I prefer here to discuss about it.

As for other people that are translating, do not copy what OP did. I can understand Bright0515, he is not wrong at all, but this thread is just different is what I mean.

Yes, you are right that this thread has been given priority over the translation post. Since everyone is giving more priority to English than translation, it would be better if it was in English.

The latest version of Bluewallet on iOS was reported to have less than 1 sat/vbyte fee rate. The Android version of the wallet has not been updated yet for me to test this out.

I saw as low as 0.3 sat/vbyte transactions got confirmed. More nodes are accepting as low as 0.1 sat/vbyte.

Depending on your UTXO count during the process of sending your bitcoin, for an average transacting wallet a fee rate of 1 sat/vbyte is very ok and should average around 20 cents , and considering the amount you are spending it's very ok. Paying less than half a dollar for fees on a normal day is fine.

I recently made a transaction at a depth of 0.72vMB which will drop within 15 mins or even less. Save yourself the stress and don't use less than 1 sat/vbyte  because most pools have it as their purge fee.

When there are some people that are using less than 1 sat/vbyte. Right now 0.2 sat/vbyte will even get confirmed.

1 sat/vbyte is not too bad but using 0.2 is much more better. The last time I made a transaction was 2 sat/vbyte and since after that time I have not done any transactions so I don't know the current transaction charges.

You can not use such low fee right now if you want fast confirmation. But for better mempool tracking, it is better you use a site like this to know if the fee priority is lower:

There’s not too much difference, using the 1sat/vbyte will still work and not that much of sats to use for your transaction unless you have a lot of UTXOs to manage at once. Those with a lot of UTXOs will find it helpful when they want to consolidate as their transaction will have a larger weight units even with small sats transactions , that way they can save more sats but if you want to give it a try then go ahead just that it might not be fast as using the 1 say/vbyte
