Title: Stake stole $6500 from me Post by: Omry99 on August 29, 2025, 09:04:21 PM My account was placed in “withdrawal-only” mode with $6,500 in it (even though I cannot withdraw). I was initially told I needed to verify to Level 4 because they believed I had violated the terms of service. I completed Level 2 verification by submitting a selfie, a piece of paper, and my passport in the same image, which was approved quickly. I then submitted Level 3 verification and reached out to support, only to be told that my account was restricted due to being “related to another account.”
I have never used Stake before this, nor have I ever created an account with my identity. Stake is now requiring me to email them from this other account, which they claim was created previously in order to withdraw my funds. I was told Stake was legitimate, but after reading about similar issues and now experiencing this myself, I’m questioning whether they are deliberately withholding my money or if they allowed someone else to use my stolen identity in the past. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as they have told me their decision is final and that I must reach out using this other email they say exists. Just curious, did you use a VPN, use someone's internet, or did someone use your internet? I've seen cases before where the gambler was accused of multi-accounting because of using a VPN, using someone's internet or someone using their internet when gambling at the casino. Also, their representative hasn't addressed issues posted here against their casino for a while now. I'd suggest also posting a complaint on casino.guru, they might respond there. Do you share internet at home with your family? Maybe there is someone else in your family that is registered to stake, or perhaps you share the same PC, and so they (stake) think you are the same person. Otherwise, you can still fight hard and try to prove your innocence if you never had any other account with them. I can't recall the last time I seen a stake representative respond to a complaint. I'm not 100% sure but I think they prefer to handle things within their own support system/forum or through an official mediator like CG. OP have you tried posting in their announcement thread and seeing if someone responds there? OP have you tried posting in their announcement thread and seeing if someone responds there? True, this forum is not the right place to actively seek help in a matter like this. Casinoguru or askgamblers would promise more success I think. Also, I doubt stake is investigating accounts without a solid reason. They are the market leader and 6500$ are peanuts for them. That being said, I believe there might be more to the story, but of course I can be wrong. I have raised a complaint on casino.guru in hopes that would do something. If any Stake representative messages me or posts here then I would be happy to provide any and all documentation from live chats to emails.

Don't expect them to reply here, since they haven't responded to any issues against them for a while now(as I mentioned before). I asked for evidence earlier since it is the norm here, and it adds context to your complaint. Anyway, good luck.I can't recall the last time I seen a stake representative respond to a complaint. You're probably right that they want to handle things through their support system/forum or through official mediators.OP have you tried posting in their announcement thread and seeing if someone responds there? |
