I've been asking the same question on a bunch of threads (and started one a week ago too), I think I got 3-4 replies suggesting these hubs... I personally have the Rosewill 10-port on my RPI, from the looks of it and specs, it could handle 5. I don't think the D-Link 7-ports could do, too tight, and less power...

I saw somebody using the 49-port hubs with U2's, but you don't have that much right?

A Rosewill 10 port WILL work for at least 5, probably however many you can fit.....the bottom 2 ports are unpowered on mine....

Granted, I am not taking into consideration that heat sink, so my post may be null and void.  I guess I need to look at the costs of the U2 to see if it is cheap enough to make up for the amount of space it consumes.

Here is what I use for U1's:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004BV7XQ8/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have one with 4 running on it, but I see no reason you could not do five, though I did not find them capable of handling 5 block erupters, each.  I use one port for a fan, one port to chain a second USB Hub, and one port for 1 BFL 8GH miner.

They are cheap, seem reliable, as I ran BlockErupters on them before the U1's, and work with a Rasberry Pi. I do overclock my U1's and these USB Hubs do handle it.

I also have this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NGQWL2/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It can easily handle more miners, but it does not work well with Linux, did not work at all with the Pi and makes my Windows PC not boot when it is plugged in.  Plus it is expensive.

I hope that helps, but I know there is also another thread, on Bitcointalk, on USB Hubs that have been tested and to what extremes.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

Miroman86 it would be nice if you could post a picture here after you received your U2's so we could see the assembly with the Rosewill.

I can confirm the d-link 7 port (3 amp rated power supply) or the rosewill/Ican 10 port (3.5 amp rated power supply) will work with 5 U2 antminers clocked at 2.0 gh/s, at least with bfgminer/minepeon/raspberry pi.  I had both hubs with 5 usb antminers each.  The rosewill also had a usb fan and is daisy chained to the d-link hub.

At 2.0 gh/s you should assume for 0.5 amps at 5V, then minus one miner for your safety factor.  If your power brick gets hot then back off with another miner till it's just warm.

I just got a 49 port dipo hub, so if you want, I could offer the d-link or ican up for sale.   Probably best if you're in North America for reasonable shipping costs.

I'm running 5 U2's in an Orico P10-U3.  You could cram 10 into that hub, but probably need to run at 1.6GHz or lots of airflow.
