Wow.  It's crazy to think these coins are worth over a grand now.  I guess I hadn't really thought about it.  I have one of these buried in my silver pile somewhere.  I should probably dig it out.  A great looking coin.  I always wondered whether or not there was actual claimable BTC on these things, but I'm guessing since I haven't seen any complaints over the years about them, that the BTC is claimable.  I didn't like these when they came out, but I'm glad I own one now and they've grown on me.  A good collectible and one of the first Bitcoin themed mainstream coins.

As far as I know the 2nd version "Binary Bull" did have issues. Was it just with the pub address displayed outside or something regarding the private keys underneath? Not sure.
The first edition "binary eagle" seems to be fine, however I also believe it was one of the earlier coins to be plagued by fake-imitations.
Would be cool if someone with more solid knowledge would chime in.

Regarding the Binary Eagles, they only display 32 of the 34 characters of the public address, so there were some who thought they were a scam since they couldn't find the address on the blockchain (albeit, use of an explorer that allows first-bits would work with only the first 8 characters.)
They did fix this on the Binary Bulls, which display all 34 characters.

Also some problems when peeling the hologram as sometimes the sticker part sticks to the coin and only the top overlay/plastic peels off... just bad quality

And for the fakes/imitations, the most notable one is the Binary Eagle that has a date stamp of 2016, no hologram and is not silver

I searched its firstbits on WalletExplorer.com and found out that the last two letters of its address do show up, and it does hold 0.01 btc.

I may be wrong in my thinking, and English isn't my mother tongue. Who can tell me more? Thanks a lot.

I would hope so... it is just the way the addresses were printed on the hologram... they kept it clean using 4x sets of 8x characters leaving off the last 2x
This changed on the Binary Bull coins where they printed all 34x characters

I recall that some version of the Titan coin also has this kind of "binary problem"....

...but my 0.1 coin has a COA, on which there is a Private Key stamp. However, I hodl it till present day instead of peeling it because I think that pealing them by most people shall make this kind of item much scarce in the future.

It's amazing how 1 week can make all the difference of interest in the same exact item being auctioned.
