Title: Imposter's in Nigeria(Najia) Board Post by: MithiRM on September 06, 2025, 05:47:26 AM Disclaimer – I have no intention of criticizing any specific board or its members, nor do I object to how anyone chooses to use or spend their sMerits. My only aim is to highlight certain behaviors where some individuals may be taking unfair advantage of the system. This is simply my perspective, and I believe there is some validity to it.
So recently I followed a pattern of posting style which isn't like local Nigerian. Well I have recently noticed this cause I do follow some ØGs from Najia board via telegram notification bot. In najia board they do use English so this ain't bother me to read their topics. I respect it, soemtimes I found also some information usefull. But here's comes my suspicious - According to Rikafip in his [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5231446.msg65642699#msg65642699) August Data in Najia board merit/post ratio is 0.67 that means every two post you're getting 1 merit. Also monthly average active user/posts ratio is 10.92 but I saw a group of user's is posting 3/4x to their regular in najia board. Not all members but a certain group of members . I defenetly think there is lots of Imposter's hidden there since they use english as their communication language it would be easy to blend with them and they are taking advantage of their board getting some quick merits. I have no personal grudge against anyone , so I'm not pointing anyone in daylight. I'm leaving this matter to the community. There are no rules restricting anyone from visiting any local board as long as you are not going to the local board to use translation tools in the community there. The 9ja local board welcomes anyone who feels they have a reason why they want to contribute in that place, so this type of thread to me is very unnecessary.27. Using automated translation tools to post translated content in Local boards is not allowed. Title: Re: Imposter's in Nigeria(Najia) Board Post by: lovesmayfamilis on September 06, 2025, 06:10:24 AM What do you want to hear next? The reputation board assumes that if you have something to say about forum users, friends, farms, or violators, then you must provide some solid evidence. There is none now, and there is only a version that a group of friends is exchanging merits. You will be surprised, but this is not news, and this happens not only on the Nigerian board.
By the way, why do you think that "impostors" participate in the Nigerian section? Should this be understood to mean that these people are not who they claim to be? Again, details are interesting, not versions. I'll add: Question: How do you feel about users having alternative accounts? Moreover, do you think you can be called a cheater? I don't think such people can be called as "imposter" when they understand the language and can connect with the local users. Also the forum have no rules for someone who spread false information, someone can claim they bought a house using x amount of Bitcoin and no one can know whether it's true or not. This same to someone claim they're from Nigeria, but no one exactly know if he's really born in Nigeria. God I love this, people coming to reputation section complaining over irrelevant stuff, inviting forum sleuths to start digging and usually finding something. https://media2.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTc5MGI3NjExbWwxNXRsbzl2cTZ1Y3hjZHJlb290ajJvaGYxemJncmx6eHJkZDhzYSZlcD12MV9pbnRlcm5hbF9naWZfYnlfaWQmY3Q9Zw/bC9czlgCMtw4cj8RgH/giphy.gif I have no personal grudge against anyone , so I'm not pointing anyone in daylight. It's so funny it's enough reason to laugh. You'll basically come to an era where someone all of a sudden brings up drama on the. Reputation board after a long while of silence. The only thing that is not nice is when someone hides behind an alt to say something he's scared to do on a main account. This particular stuff you are accusing a particular board of us something that happens on virtually every board it's basically like a normal thing even if it probably isn't supposed to be normal. |
