Now, you mentioned that “we can update anytime.” What exactly do you mean by this? Do you mean that we can change the name we provided during registration

It seems like you have done a good job with this site. As a new site, they may have some bugs but if there are bugs in login or registration, then they should not have released the site. Their testing team does not seem to be very good so they launched the site without proper testing. Anyway, they should fix these issues quickly otherwise those who are going to gamble here will not be interested in gambling here if they have such a bad experience in the beginning. Yeah, it was clearly stated on their Terms and Conditions that KYC will be required when withdrawing and additional verificaltion if the withdrawal exceeds 5,000USD. The requirement of giving out your full name when registering your account should have been an indication that they would want you to do KYC.

My Review On Gamblr.Io

This is my first review on the forum for a gambling site.I am trying to be blunt and give an honest review for them. I’ve been trying out Gamblr.io recently, and honestly, I’m really enjoying the experience so far. The first thing that caught my attention was the design the dark red theme gives off this classy, nostalgic vibe, almost like stepping into an old-school casino but with a modern touch. It feels professional but also welcoming at the same time.

They’ve partnered with a lot of well-known providers, so the game selection is huge. I tested out a few slots (including Gates of Olympus) and spent some time on the live casino tables. The blackjack table was smooth, as I played it usually.  which I personally loved. I also hopped into their sports betting section, the odds felt fair, and the live betting worked just fine without glitches.

In this post, I will me reviewing Gamblr.io, an online crypto casino. That's a nice domain btw, definitely fits the .io extension vibe.

As you see I deposited roughly $23 to this casino. I deposited them in bitcoins and it took 3 confirmations before it showed in my balance. I didn't have any problems with depositing. It was straight forward and the process was as fast as the bitcoin network. Other coins would be faster I am sure but I didn't want to send any USDT from my binance account and risk of getting banned from binance since they are pretty picky about sending&receiving funds to/from casinos using their platform.

For some reason they show your balance only in USD even though I deposited bitcoin. I guess it is not possible to make bets using btc or other crypto. It is not a problem for me but some people might find this "unfriendly" to crypto.

There are also not many crypto options to deposit. The choices they offer are:

1- Bitcoin
2- Ethereum
3- USDT
4- USDC

Minimum deposit is $10, and maximum is 1 million USD.

They only accept Bitcoin and Ethereum mainnet coins. So don't try to send them any wrapped coins. You'll lose your coins or won't be able to send them at all because they only generate mainnet deposit addresses.

USDT has 2 deposit options:

a- ERC20 (Ethereum)
b- TRC20 (Tron Network)

USDC also offers 2 deposit options ERC20 (eth) and something called BASE which I don't know what it is about since I haven't been a USDC guy. Those who use USDC probably know what that is.

To be honest I was hoping to see other altcoins too because I wanted to deposit some doge since they are fast and cheap to make transactions. (LTC would be great too) But I was disappointed to notice that they don't accept any alts other than ETH which nobody uses nowadays in casinos I believe. Doge and LTC are the gold standard of shitcoins. Gamblr.io should consider my suggestion seriously.

The first time I entered gamblr.io, I noticed that big animation that stays right in the center of the page. It is probably there to bring some life to the website but it is also making the page load more slowly hence I think I don't like it. Maybe reduce the size of it or just get rid of it altogether. As you see I am using an adblocking plugin. If I were a regular player in this casino I would definitely block this annoying animation. It is distracting too. Uninvited distractions are not needed by us, gamblers. Other gamblers may not agree with this statement but this is my opinion.

Once everything loads on the first page, everything seems to work fast. No issues there. Other than the big animation that messes my eyes, everything looks quite organized, simple and effective.

• Making Some Bets

At first I wanted to try my luck with some dice-like or slot games but I encountered a surprise.

I tried different games but no luck. None of them loaded in my browser. Maybe it is because I am using a fairly old version of Brave browser. You can spot the "update" button on the top right corner in my screenshot. Then I switched browsers and tried Firefox this time.Again, the game didn't load on my screen for some reason. I can access the website just fine but the games ain't loading because the server doen't respond. I am getting a connection time out error.

I find luck based games boring anyway so I headed towards the fun part, sports betting.

That means the website is working a bit on the slower side. I don't think it is my internet connection.

Anyway now it is minute 91 in the game and I have 2 open bets. It is a bad day for Dresden that's for sure.

I think I have seen enough here. The sports betting part works good enough. I had some problems with placing my bet at the end of the game when things got heated though. Maybe they will hire faster servers as they make more money in the future. For now the website works quite good, at least the sports betting part worked for me. I can't speak about all the slot games they offer since they refused to work in my computer.

Now I need to talk about the hard truth which people need to know. This casino requires you to do KYC before you withdraw funds. It is just in their ToS. You can read it yourself.

They don't say we can KYC you if we feel like. No, they say we will ask for your docs the moment you decide to withdraw your funds and that, is a deal breaker to many crypto enthusiasts. Most KYC casinos don't even enforce KYC to that extent. This casino hardcoded KYC to its ToS permanently. No good.

The ToS has a warning regarding to the VPN usage:

What does that mean? "may not", it reads like we will let you use a VPN as long as you are losing. No good either but many casinos do that so I'll cut you a slack here.

• My Suggestions

This casino has a big potential if they solve a few issues.

1- Accept more altcoins. You don't have to accept every shit coin out there but you at least need to accept Doge and Litecoin. These are the OG alts, they existed even before Eth.

2- Loosen the KYC requirements. Give the players a room to breathe. If your licenses requires this from you, you should either find a different license provider or get rid of licensing altogether because it doesn't make any sense to deposit crypto to this casino if all the players will have to send their passport scans to get verified. That needs to be fixed asap. It is the biggest major flaw you got. I won 2 bets fair and square and now I can't withdraw them unless I send you my passport scans. Does that make any sense to anybody?

3- Luck based games don't load on my browser for some reason and I couldn't place my bets fast enough. The load thing might be a problem on my end even though I tried it with 2 different browsers but the website is not working fast enough regardless imo.

4- Get rid of the big animation that sits on the front page.

I wanted to check out what makes Gamblr Casino special, and first off the name had me for a second. You’d think it’s pronounced ''Gamblr,'' but when you actually say it, it sounds like ''gam-blur'' which honestly feels like the perfect name for a casino player. • More coins/tokens need to be supported to give users a choice of what they want to use, because 4 coins supported is too small.
• I thought this was a fiat-crypto casino, hence the KYC, I understand your license dictates how this goes with regards to KYC but unfortunately many players are uncomfortable with sharing or putting personal data out there,if crypto users can be exempt from this then casino should have more players coming in or perphaps after crossing a thresshold of 10,000 in withdraws this should call for kyc.

Signing up

Users are required to enter their First and surnames alongside the usernames and password when signing up. The First and surname are to later prepare the user for KYC verification. One thing I noticed is there is not Geo-block for residents of jurisdictions that are banned from using the platform when I tried accessing it using an IP address of a banned/prohibited Jurisdiction.

The is also no confirmation email sent to the inbox of the email address used to register on the platform. This is a security flaw in case the person registering for the platform uses a wrong email address. There is no way of knowing if the email address was wrong or right except if the user signed in and checked the login details using the email address. If he signs up using the username. He can easily make deposits without knowing that the email address is wrong. Please work on this ASAP

User interface

Upon logging in one is welcomed by a clean dark and maroon like themed user interface which is pretty straight forward to navigate

I think we should have an Icon to show a notification of an unread message or even message count of unread messages while still on the homepage or at least after clicking on the profile Icon. One only gets to know that they have a notification after clicking on profile and then inbox.

KYC

When registering, the user is requested to fill up a few of his personal details (probably marking those in his documents), that is the first name and last name

Upon logging in under the KYC page, the first name and last name appear by default I believe they are also editable which is a good thing in case of any error

The part where someone is supposed to enter in a date is not really specific. I believe that should be the date of birth as shown in the document of the user.

I suggest there should be a clear indication that a user is supposed to enter Date of Birth as per the ID and not any other date

Upon depositing, I was able to receive the 100% bonus as promised, however during the game play I noticed there was no progress bar of sorts that can show a player how much they have wagered so far when they are playing any game. This is very important to a player and need to be an added feature.

Also, the bonus sort of got topped up on the deposited funds. While playing slot games, I was not sure with I was using the bonus or the deposit. It was just a complete mix-up because the bonus has a different wagering requirement from the deposited funds.

Unfortunately, I didn’t make profit out of what I had deposited, so I have no experience regarding the withdrawal. All I can say is that at the withdrawal page, there still is no remainder about the preferred destination of the funds or even any notification/estimate of fees that maybe incurred during the withdrawal


Conclusion
My experience using Gamblr.io was not that bad. They just need to do a little more improvements that I have observed and pointed out to enhance the user experience. Yeah, I second this suggestion and it is a valid one objectively. If KYC is mandatory than there is no question of accepting deposit without performing KYC. It is a totally ok to accept deposits if casino does not have a mandatory KYC (of course with the right of demanding it if any suspicious activity happen).

The biggest crypto casino out there also maintains this policy. The deposit addresses do not even show up before mandatory KYC.

I have some updated news after contacting Gamblr casino support.
After talking with them I asked them to allow me withdrawal of my coins I deposited, because I dont want to verify my account, and they agreed.
I told them they can keep any profits I made playing games, and I received coins they sent me in addresses provided by me.

KYC is mandatory on Gamblr casino, that is why I asked them to send me back my coins and to close my account.
I was clear about that in this topic previous post, so dont make false assumptions that are based on nothing.
