It happened to me a few years ago. My relatives visited my house and they brought their kid with us. We are very close to each other and visit each other very often, so nothing new here but one day, when they came, my mother asked me to go to the supermarket to bring bread, cola and some other stuff. I was playing slots during this moment on my PC and she was in a rush, so I minimised the browser and immediately went to the supermarket.
I had $10 deposited on slots, remember this. Then I come at home and I see this 2-3-year-old kid has opened my browser tab and clicks on the space button and is very happy, laughing. It was so funny experience that it brings me smile every time I think about this.

Mine was not funny but which I still remember. I had $20 which I am using to spin, I have not won up to $3 and the games was very annoying. My mother called and we talked for like 10 minutes or more. You got me laughing, and you are absolutely right, if Op had big amount of money there and came back to meet $00.00 there, I am just imagining the look that would have been on his face, and fate of that child that day. Probably that child would have received a knock or two on his head. It might look funny now but let's wait till l someone lose a huge amount of money that way. Anyway it's just a reminder that we should set up security lock on our devices. So that when it's left unused for few seconds it will require password before anyone can access it.

Funny story every one of us been into - we thought that with gambling we could constantly earn :D

I think that a lot of funny stories are related to gamblers being inattentive. Mine was when I have confused 1 cent with 1 dollar and turned on autobet in dice. It was a wagering tournament and I wanted to leave game running and do other stuff. I have started the game and went to make a coffee. When I got back I was surprised how different my balance looked like. Fun part is that it has almost doubled.

A funny story! It happened many years ago when I first decided to play slots, and my sister came to visit. She thought we were going to play computer games, but she was surprised to see the primitive images from online slots on the screen. But I told her it would be fun, since I had $16 to play. At first, nothing landed, and the lines wouldn't line up. But after a few spins, I hit a 10x multiplier, and we all had a wild, happy reaction, as if we'd won a thousand dollars.

Mine was 2 years ago, when I bet on a playoff series of an NBA game.

I think my funniest story in gambling or the most joyful one is the instant when I already surrendered my bet from a basketball game, and then when I woke up and checked it, I still won the bet. I even watched the replay just to see what the hell happened, and to my surprise, a buzzer-beater was the reason behind it.
It's both funny and amazing because the team I bet for didn't surrender until the end of the game, while I had already given up and was trying to move on. :D

You should’ve put like $100 so the kid would’ve been even happier, lol. But yeah, they say kids are lucky in gambling,  not this time. Good thing you didn’t load up your balance too much, or it would’ve hurt finding out it went straight to zero. Slots are pure luck anyway, you only win when it’s your day.

I have not had such kind of story like op shared with the kid. I try to keep kids away from what they don't need to know. As the risk didn't burn you because of the amount but sometimes it could be a disaster.

So mine was mistaking a team for another team and betting wrongly. I lost the bet while the team I wanted to bet won. I didn't feel good for the next 24 hours.

This experience is not funny, it is a crazy experience and it would have been crazier if you had won a huge amount but didn't withdraw it yet and then this kid took your laptop and burn down your balance to zero dollar, then you will be upset and depressed. I have had some crazy experience with my sister's children such that it was a total mess and because of that experience, there are my stuffs that I can not keep within the reach of kids because I assume that it will go down the same way it did the last time. My funny experience in gambling is also started with children aged 4 years, in the area where I live in having one idiot child limitations of way of thinking, But funny he always comes to my house to play, well, the funny thing is that he always spontaneously gave a precise number.

My funniest story isn’t from losing, but from when I actually won. I remember I was drunk and got way too aggressive with betting, I ended up putting my full salary on one game (sports betting). My funny story isn't related to an event like yours, the orientation is still on the gameplay. I often made large deposits, even reaching $1,3K in single deposit. They often ended in nothing, I'm not lying.

But there was a time when I received a tip from one of the forum users, for around 15 - 18 (in dollar). Any idea how much I earned for that small amount? I made almost $1K. I’m playing blackjack using to hands while have 20(pair of 10) on one hand and the other is 11 in total. Due to my excitement I thought I already stand my first hand but instead I double down a 20 and hit 10 so it resulted to bust while my next card I hit an Ace when I double down again.

The dealer hand is soft 17 which is 6 and A while 6 is the shown card. It should be both hand wins for if I didn’t commit mistake in double down at 20.  :D

It’s not funny but it’s a delightful story. It is something that I would want to remember because I’d be quite proud. But I don’t think I have a lot of funny stories. I’d find it funny if I got lucky like someone else paid but gave the bet to mee and then won. That would be funny and happy.

Atleast you should had think about the safety and orderliness of your personal files stored in the computer. I've not had a very funny experience in gambling but there was an experience that whenever I remember it I  always feel amused. Your story is kinda unique, I don’t think I have heard it before and mine is very different from you. Back then in the university, I had friends who would always place bets before the matches started. Somehow, they were never lucky, but they kept using their feeding money to bet. It similar happened to me but the difference is i was very lucky because i can double my money and back to 3 years ago i was playing slot using my smartphone but suddently i want go to the bathroom so i have decide to leave my smartphone on my bed but surprisingly my nephew have entering my room and because she is only 5 years old kid what she understand is how to playing game on android phone so she thought my slot game is not more than ordinary game which she always be played and she playing it approximatelly 10 minutes and didn't realize that until i am return from the bathroom but luckily i can see my balance double from my initial deposit and immediatelly i have withdraw it

My story is a little different, I have a friend who always thinks that he was born with the worst luck in the world. So we were arguing about this. Some time after this incident, we were walking along the road and some people were watching a football match in a shop and we were temporarily standing in front of this shop and my friend said that 'look, there is a football match going on' The team I will support will definitely lose and he wanted to bet with me. I then agreed to his words and said that whoever loses the bet will eat at the restaurant and he agreed but there was only 4 minutes left in the game and we were standing a little far from the shop. That's why we actually bet on the color of the jerseys and the colors were yellow and white since my friend is a Brazilian fan that's why he said that I should take the yellow team. I finally said okay since it was four minutes and there was still no goal from either side. We stood and it turned out that there was a corner in the last 30 seconds and the team in the white jersey got a corner and from there a great goal was scored and I won. I just looked at him in surprise and I believed him, saying that he really was the unluckiest person in the world.

To be honest, even after gambling so much, I can't remember the funniest moment of my gambling career. I always take gambling seriously because I have money involved in gambling, so if I make a mistake or make a decision that is not fun, then the result will go against me and if the result goes against me, I will lose my money, which is a bad thing for me. Kids are very naughty people because when they see you playing around with your laptop they would want to also try out what you were doing without them knowing that you weren't joking over there, but the funniest is that they wouldn't act as if they had interest in what you are doing but immediately you space a bit you would see them doing exactly what you were doing and you will get surprised on how they got it perfectly they way you were doing it. Hhhh, yeah, it sounds very funny that a child is enjoying losing money. He will be a true and ancient type of gambler who goes to the casino only for fun, without any regret over losses. But here you are also enjoying, although you are doing so because of the small fund. If the amount were higher, then surely you would not be laughing, and you would find a way to get rid of that child as soon as possible. Funny story, it is nice to know the kid was having fun but you are very lucky that it was just $10, what if it was an. Amount that was a bit high, I bet you wouldn't be happy about it, but what can you do when it's just a kid that is unaware of their actions. Lesson to the story is that you must always learn to be careful with your gadgets especially when you have kids around, there is a chance of your laptop getting spoilt or something

Lucky you that that amount is within the amount you can afford to lose and ve comfortable with, you have to keep you most important things from kids, and if i have to share my most funny story it should be the one i personally execute by myself and in that i may not have anyone related to gambling other than my various gambling loses due to my ow  mistakes.

It's crazy though, but why didn't you lock your pc before leaving, What if the money you deposited was such a huge amount of money and you came back only for you to discover that the young man has gambled with the whole funds? My daughter has dealt with me severely but what saved me is that I always locked the screen of my system whenever I am spacing, there is no amount of haste I would be that would make me forget to lock the screen of my system. After a learnt my lesson so hard I decided to take my actions even my phone browser before you access it you must use a fingerprint to unlock it since she's that smart enough in capturing my password and codes I decided to go with fingerprint. Mine is, she nearly delete my wallet if not that I had the seedphrase jute down that could have been the end I could have lost my savings.

That's crazy, I can imagine if you've left with hundreds to thousands bucks left there and that kid had no idea how much he's spinning with it. This is why I sleep my computer if I go somewhere else or I need to do some tasks outside and will be back immediately. I guess the funniest that I've been is when we went to a local carnival and there are gambling games there as well, like the color games and other sort of it which is very popular here in the country. When I was very young, I didn't know how to deposit money. Instead, I filled out the deposit form repeatedly, but it always failed. Yeah Ive done something similar and you can call it a "fat finger" bet, I think I was betting $1 or so a roll and for some reason I ended up betting $100 without realizing it. That is something very reckless because when things are identified with that level of risk, it is something that I have done a few times and only in one, like you, I was successful The truth is that after I was successful I found myself in the same situation but I lost everything In the end, I did not win anything because I ended up losing more than I had won and that is not a good strategy, quite the opposite.

Leaving the PC at home where children can easily access it is really bad because they can damage it. For those who are grown enough not to damage it, they will go through it, and if they discover gambling on it, like just the way your Internet browser was just exposed, it can just be the beginning of their gambling journey.

Talking about funny story, I've had crazy and laughable moments  with gamble but the one I love most is when I tried to gamble on a new platform and after some bet on sport games I decided to try out their casino games with the money I had felt on the account, so before I started  gambling I ensured to check the casino game out by playing the demo version, so something happened and I navigated to the home page and went back to the casino section and unknown  to me i did set the game to the demo version and I was playing  and luck was on my side, so I thought for a while if the demo is this easy and I get luck it'll  be good to play with my real account fortunately I have been playing on real account and increasing my balance ;D

I have no funny moment regarding gambling but I am curious to know what would happen if you have deposited 1000$ and made it to 10000$ but when you are out of your pc and the baby or someone else used your pc and make the balance of you is 0$. I think then you would not considered it into a funny moment hence you would consider into the sad moment.

🤣 Man, that's a very funny one there and I must say that you are very lucky indeed, assuming it wasn't for a luck that was on your side, you would have probably lost all your account balance on that real game thinking you are still playing the demo version of the game.. 😁

Someone like myself can never make this type of mistake though, not that I am perfect and or above mistake but judging from how careful I've always been in the past while playing demo version of either slot or casino game, there is absolutely no way the game I am playing will move from demo to real play version without me noticing no matter how careless or carefree I am or was at the moment the switch happened.

Of course that is true and no one would be happy seeing that their balance of $10k has actually gone down to zero balance, by then that person would never see it as a funny moment anymore because they had turn their happiness into sadness.
But what we must know is that we shouldn't for any day leaving our pc or personal device open for someone to have access to our pc in order to have access to drain our balance.

The smile was just because it was $10 had it been you left a thousands of dollars you would have ended up in regret by now. There are things that we should always take serious because taking them for granted might likely repeat itself when you least expect it, more especially in our gambling activities because sometimes that is fully surrounded by risk you might not really predict what would happen in the next few minutes that is why is always necessary to apply safety all the time.

Well, technically it was your fault. You should have known better, as long as there was a kid around you would have kept your laptop far from the child's reach. It's just $10, you should be happy it wasn't more than that or worse your laptop could have been damaged. I don't really know if you forgot to take your laptop to somewhere safe or maybe you didn't think it was possible for the child to go near it, it's a lesson not to take chances next time

It's like kids hasn't annoyed you before, those little creatures can do funny things that are annoying for no reason and you don't have nothing to do than to accept it like that. For him, it's very dear to him to ay his games and enjoy it, I believe that wasn't his first time gambling on slot but the little kid ruin everything. The sad thing about situation like this is if you try to report them to your parent since you can't to their parent, your parent will laugh at you and do nothing.

Lesson learn but if I'm going out as I don't have kids, I make sure that my laptop is off until when I'm ready to use it. I have my settings on hibernate and sleep mode that if I don't use it for 30 minute, this has help me improved my battery health. Another alternative is that OP can make use of phone for this kind of things. Even as he was going to super market, he can play his game in the supermarket while doing the shopping, it's not going to change anything.

That's a very funny story and even more funnier is that I'm the creator of this thread and I also have an exactly the same story but I didn't write it because my focus was on that one, which was a very memorable experience for me. I had this experience a few times on different websites, mostly it was fun but I also had an accident where I lost $30 without realising it because I thought I was playing with a play money.

There is no way on earth that I would deposit 1000$, turn it into 10000$ and would let a kid to play on my computer, there is no way I would allow that to happen.

I don't know if this is funny or sad, but at the time it was sad, but now I think about it, it's hilarious.

The story goes that I was gambling with my friends offline, playing dominoes (it's important to note that gambling is still illegal in my country). While we were having fun gambling, suddenly someone knocked on the door. Without thinking, my friend stood up and opened the door, thinking it was another friend. However, to his surprise, when the door opened, it was the police, and we were all immediately arrested and taken to the police station. We didn't stay long at the police station because we all promised not to do it again and paid for the tent to be released. What embarrassed me was that after we were arrested, the police called our parents. That incident happened seven years ago, but even now, when I think about it, I laugh to myself. :D
