Hi everyone
As an artist, is it advisable for me to showcase my art work here on this forum?
I have been willing to ask this question, art is what I do and was born into, I just wanna know if I can share the view with you guys :)

Also it is worth knowing that if you get to junior member, you can start uploading images. You need just 30 activity and 1 merit to become a junior member.

But you can decide to go for copper membership if you want to make it faster.

If you're having something that you do and want to showcase such in this forum, it's welcome, you only need to identify the right board for that and do your display there, but ensure that those arts were your original hand works and not what you may copy online to claim responsible for, you may try to read on pinned threads to learn more about some vital information needed to know regarding this forum.

Yes, it seems like it would be nice to have such thread on the Collectibles board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0). Let me know if you also need a more organized thread display and a little polish to make it look like a gallery or catalog space. ;)

Am a big fan of art, you are welcome, just keep on posting till you get 30 activities then you will be able to post your work, am looking up to seeing your art.

I don't know what are arts you have and want to show but you can do both: showing your arts, selling it, and providing your art services here.

This artist won many art contests in the forum and it's another way for you to get monetary earnings through your arts here.

It's neither advisable or not advisable, you're the one who choose want to show it to public or not because it has a correlation with privacy.

Even you upload an image without showing your face, but your image contain metadata which could make people able to track your location. Or there could be someone who know you close and live in the same city/village like you, they will aware with your existence.

When it comes to which board you should post, you could post in many sections including Bitcoin Discussion.

The forum is big enough to accommodate every kind of profession once you're able to align yourself to it's standard, abide the rules and be diligent in all you do, on the service board, you will discover a number of services being promoted by people and then you alxannakso see the way many of them have been consistent in it, not only that, they also have good reputation and trust ratings positively, if you are truly whom you claimed to be, then time will tell and it will be seen by everyone who may be willing to have something to do with you.

Creativity adds color to a community like this but as a newbie, you'll have to meet some requirements in the forum before you can start posting pictures. You have a merit already so you'll need just 30 activity to be be able to reach the junior member rank and be eligible to post pictures.  

When you've finally reached the rank of Junior member, I think a good way to start might be posting your art in the context of Bitcoin. If they're captivating enough, some members here may actually become collectors of your work. Good luck.

Good advice. Two threads created by the OP were thrown into the trash, as was content that had already been recently discussed. OP, learn to use the search button so we don't have to search for your work online, knowing you're good at stealing other people's ideas. Also, the off-topic section accepts any paintings and topics in any genre.

You might wanna read again what OP is actually talking about, because your advice will get him getting his posts deleted.

I must agree with you about locking the thread because the responses to the question has been served and I don't think the Op will be needing further explanations that he can or not post those of his artworks here as implied.
Op also need to understand that it's not just going to be about publishing his works here but must consider it impact in the community. Thus should be documentary arts that speaks meaningfulness. For now we don't know the essence of the Op's artworks so he'll have to efficiently navigate the forum so that the the works can stay in the appropriate board.

People who are skilled are better off more succesful in this forum because they offer what people need. Being an artist has put you one edge ahead. Follow the instructions given you above and post in the right board. Who knows it might help you to stop making low quality posts.

Yea, you just nailed it. Try visiting the begginers and help board so you get informations and guidance needed as to what is to be done. I must add to what have been said that the designs you plan to upload if you get the opportunity to should be real art work and not copied or AI photos as it is a real and punishable offence here in the forum. You should publish your work not only here.
There are quite a lot of platforms you could fetch clients from YT, Insta, Tumbl, even Linkedin.
And don't forget to build you own website, There is where you need to be creative starting with the domain name.

Yes, you are free to advertise your work here as long as it's legit. I have seen some users that advertises different skills and services on the service (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0) board and you can also post your art works there but you have to undergo the few process that have been outlined on the first comment, because that's only when you can be able to post visible images or you can just post the links of the art works and continue making post in other sections and once your activities is up to 30, you will become a junior member rank and all your images will begin to display.

If you can draw something about Bitcoin through art, then of course you can share it, but it is better not to show any nonsense artist other than Bitcoin friendly. But even if you upload a picture in your current state, it will not be visible, it will only float as a link, so for this you need to be at least a junior member or a copper member account. Then only the picture will float and everyone will see it.

If you are really born into art, no worries mate because you can showcase your talent in this forum and earn rewards. Roobet is always coming up with art contests from time to time. Always check the service board which the first poster Igebotz have given you the link.

Go for the contest whenever a new open starts. I will be looking up to see your artwork because we have a lot of good artist in this forum who frequently win these prizes. However, you should grow your account.

I don’t think op could post his art work in all sections except at those art work are directly related to bitcoin before he could post them in bitcoin discussion section, I mean if those work has full representation of bitcoin or correlates with bitcoin then he may post them over there. Again, he can also join some art contests so that op could fully upload and showcase his or her talents over there.

There are many types of art that people can do, what kind of art you want to introduce in this forum, paintings, crafts, digital or art that we may not see here.

As far as I know here the community really appreciates the art related to crypto or bitcoin is more at the price, other arts are no less competitive.

Yes you can show your work here,  although just like everyone else have pointed out, you need to at least rank up to junior member to be able to do so. Aside that, nothing else stops you. Know also that you can monetize your skill here if you are serious about it.

This forum encourages creativity. There have been lots of contests here in this forum that has required members here to showcase their skills. Winners of these contests are usually given rewards at the end of the contest. You will love it here.

Interesting information from the OP, who is an artist.
However, my suggestion is that the OP should explain what kind of artist you want to showcase. As everyone knows, there are many types of artists, including music, dancing, and so on.

Besides all the suggestions given you in respect to your questions, if you stick here long enough to rank up and be able to display pictures, you will find art contests organised by projects that reward winners for their skills. The rewards come in mouth watering packages. I encourage you to stay, read, and make constructive posts that will boost your activity count and merit earned so you can speedily rank up.

OP already received one merit so he only needs to post more and increase activity point to 30. Then the account will become Junior member and it will be possible to upload and show images. In short, it is like that but more details can be found in.

Of course yes you are so much allowed to showcase your art here on the forum. Do not forget that there are real people here and as a result of that, someone might even get attracted to your work, like or even find interest in it which can lead to you getting a private message from them. I'll advise anyone to post even about his or her art if the OP has a minimal of Jr member, he should even add photos because this forum is just more than discussion but more like a global market. You can get connected than you'd even expect.

I do not know if OP would get any benefit even if he becomes a Jr Member and show case his artwork. I don't think there are audience here who need the artworks. Yes, if he can design the Signatures, he may get some work for that but other than that audience here aren't much relevant.

Yes, he should have a good portfolio and try his luck on Facebook relevant groups and other social media platforms and there he can get what he wants to achieve.

I can overlook your first paragraph (that's why I also snipped it out) as a misquote to me. However, those other two I referenced above obviously shouldn't be for me. I believe you should be quoting OP to give them those details.

He can use this forum to advertise on anything he does, be it bitcoin related arts or any other kinds, since that is his profession, but when it comes to coming to this forum to advertise your service, then there are rules which should be followed about this forum, he can go ahead to read the forums rules and regulation and the pinned threads art the intended board to post about his services.

I must admit that I understand verily of the level of civility you are trying to proof but I believe as informative as the post might be to the Op, it will still be visible to him especially if he is actively tracking the thread.

Of course you can do this but as a new user you will have to buy a copper membership to display the email. Because if you post an image here without the minimum Jr Member it will not be displayed. So you will have to buy a copper membership or since you have got 1 merit so if you post here from active and complete 30 activities then you will get Jr membership which will allow you to display the image.

And since you are making these yourself and they are the showpiece of your hobby, you can post them in the Collectibles (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0) section.

I personally love arts, I cherish them alot as I love love the vibe and ambiance they bring into a living space.
I believe you can actually turn this into a service and business here on this forum, simply go to the service board and create your art service thread where you can showcase your artworks and their listed prices if you are going to be selling them, but before you start, make sure to have achieved the following..

1. Reach atleast 30 activity level here so you can be upgraded to a junior member which will allow you be able to post images, or better still, purchase a copper membership as suggested by Igebotz.

2. Establish a partnership with a good, trusted and reliable courier and logistics company that will take care of delivering your art work to your customers around your country and around the globe if you have plans of creating a global level artwork, i believe you would get alot of customers from this forum which includes my very self.
