Title: 2x 5770 or 6870? Post by: legolouman on December 25, 2011, 04:23:28 AM I've been thinking about upgrading not only my mining power, but also my gaming power. I'm having trouble deciding what to do (for my budget).
Right now I'm stuck between 2x these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161317(Fired for gaming effect.) Or one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161393 I think I'd get better hashing with two cards, probably not fired. But better gaming performance with the 6870. I'd go for the 2x5770's myself but the games I play run fine on a single 5770 anyway, it all depends on what games you plan on playing. Option 3 is to wait and see what the low end 7xxx cards can do.

Cards are 55-65 each, so that 260 for the worst.
