This is my first review on the forum for a gambling site.I am trying to be blunt and give an honest review for them. My Gamblr.io Review

In this post, I will me reviewing Gamblr.io, an online crypto casino. That's a nice domain btw, definitely fits the .io extension vibe.

• Depositing Funds

As you see I deposited roughly $23 to this casino. I deposited them in bitcoins and it took 3 confirmations before it showed in my balance. I didn't have any problems with depositing. It was straight forward and the process was as fast as the bitcoin network. Other coins would be faster I am sure but I didn't want to send any USDT from my binance account and risk of getting banned from binance since they are pretty picky about sending&receiving funds to/from casinos using their platform.

For some reason they show your balance only in USD even though I deposited bitcoin. I guess it is not possible to make bets using btc or other crypto. It is not a problem for me but some people might find this "unfriendly" to crypto.

There are also not many crypto options to deposit. The choices they offer are:

1- Bitcoin
2- Ethereum
3- USDT
4- USDC

Minimum deposit is $10, and maximum is 1 million USD.

They only accept Bitcoin and Ethereum mainnet coins. So don't try to send them any wrapped coins. You'll lose your coins or won't be able to send them at all because they only generate mainnet deposit addresses.

USDT has 2 deposit options:

a- ERC20 (Ethereum)
b- TRC20 (Tron Network)

USDC also offers 2 deposit options ERC20 (eth) and something called BASE which I don't know what it is about since I haven't been a USDC guy. Those who use USDC probably know what that is.

To be honest I was hoping to see other altcoins too because I wanted to deposit some doge since they are fast and cheap to make transactions. (LTC would be great too) But I was disappointed to notice that they don't accept any alts other than ETH which nobody uses nowadays in casinos I believe. Doge and LTC are the gold standard of shitcoins. Gamblr.io should consider my suggestion seriously.

The first time I entered gamblr.io, I noticed that big animation that stays right in the center of the page. It is probably there to bring some life to the website but it is also making the page load more slowly hence I think I don't like it. Maybe reduce the size of it or just get rid of it altogether. As you see I am using an adblocking plugin. If I were a regular player in this casino I would definitely block this annoying animation. It is distracting too. Uninvited distractions are not needed by us, gamblers. Other gamblers may not agree with this statement but this is my opinion.

Once everything loads on the first page, everything seems to work fast. No issues there. Other than the big animation that messes my eyes, everything looks quite organized, simple and effective.

• Making Some Bets

At first I wanted to try my luck with some dice-like or slot games but I encountered a surprise.

I tried different games but no luck. None of them loaded in my browser. Maybe it is because I am using a fairly old version of Brave browser. You can spot the "update" button on the top right corner in my screenshot. Then I switched browsers and tried Firefox this time.Again, the game didn't load on my screen for some reason. I can access the website just fine but the games ain't loading because the server doen't respond. I am getting a connection time out error.

I find luck based games boring anyway so I headed towards the fun part, sports betting.

I made a $5 bet on Darmstadt's victory while they were 1-0 ahead during the break and then they scored their second goal in the second half. The odd was 1.30. 30% is not bad I thought, and the game is about to end at the moment. I think I am about to get my first victory.

The website refused to accept my under 2.5 bet a few times but in the end they accepted it but from a lower odd than I wanted initially when I decided to make the bet. That means the website is working a bit on the slower side. I don't think it is my internet connection.

Anyway now it is minute 91 in the game and I have 2 open bets. It is a bad day for Dresden that's for sure.

I think I have seen enough here. The sports betting part works good enough. I had some problems with placing my bet at the end of the game when things got heated though. Maybe they will hire faster servers as they make more money in the future. For now the website works quite good, at least the sports betting part worked for me. I can't speak about all the slot games they offer since they refused to work in my computer.

Make no mistake by the way, football is not the only sports they offer.

• The Ugly Part

Now I need to talk about the hard truth which people need to know. This casino requires you to do KYC before you withdraw funds. It is just in their ToS. You can read it yourself.

They don't say we can KYC you if we feel like. No, they say we will ask for your docs the moment you decide to withdraw your funds and that, is a deal breaker to many crypto enthusiasts. Most KYC casinos don't even enforce KYC to that extent. This casino hardcoded KYC to its ToS permanently. No good.

The ToS has a warning regarding to the VPN usage:

What does that mean? "may not", it reads like we will let you use a VPN as long as you are losing. No good either but many casinos do that so I'll cut you a slack here.

• My Suggestions

This casino has a big potential if they solve a few issues.

1- Accept more altcoins. You don't have to accept every shit coin out there but you at least need to accept Doge and Litecoin. These are the OG alts, they existed even before Eth.

2- Loosen the KYC requirements. Give the players a room to breathe. If your licenses requires this from you, you should either find a different license provider or get rid of licensing altogether because it doesn't make any sense to deposit crypto to this casino if all the players will have to send their passport scans to get verified. That needs to be fixed asap. It is the biggest major flaw you got. I won 2 bets fair and square and now I can't withdraw them unless I send you my passport scans. Does that make any sense to anybody?

3- Luck based games don't load on my browser for some reason and I couldn't place my bets fast enough. The load thing might be a problem on my end even though I tried it with 2 different browsers but the website is not working fast enough regardless imo.

4- Get rid of the big animation that sits on the front page.

Poor support chat... This needs to be improved.

Is KYC required before making a withdrawal? This is bad... because as far as I know, the license from Anjouangaming does not require KYC, as there are other casinos with licenses from Anjouangaming that still relax KYC requirements.

My Review about Gamblr casino

I wanted to check out what makes Gamblr Casino special, and first off the name had me for a second. You’d think it’s pronounced ''Gamblr,'' but when you actually say it, it sounds like ''gam-blur'' which honestly feels like the perfect name for a casino player. I visited the website just like other casino, it's color eye friendly, not too bright that is going to affect the eye but there is a problem, the website is to heavy on the home page. The front animation is not necessary, a slider image would be better even if it's an ongoing promotion on the casino.

Just like other casinos, the registration was very fast, I used an email and password and that's it, there is no need for prolonged signup or unnecessary wasted time, straight down to business.

Registration and Logins

Registration process, right from the onset when a gambling platform asks for full names of a player, then you already know that KYC is a must and unfortunately I know many players wont like this but if i check with the competitionn I think 70% of them do have this in place and Gamblr is no exception. The only request I would be making is to have more alternative options to register/login via social logins like Facebook, Metamask etcetera to avoid having a mountain of passwords for everything , and it will make it more convenient for users to access the platform.

User interface

First off, catchy name for a gambling platform(Gamblr =Gambler) which I like. General overview of the website tells me everything I should expect to find i.e casino, sportsbook, horse racing etc, because some platforms make it difficult to find the sportsbook or casino as they lack organisation, but here our house is in order.
For the color combination used here, I don't know if I like it or not, but will take some time to getting used to , otherwise, UI works flawlessly both on phone (well optimized) and desktop

Looking at available coins to play with, I am not impressed with what coins I can play with, and some of the chains supported here force players to incur higher fees when alot of other options are available, for example, polygon, binance chain etc.

Conclusion

More coins/tokens need to be supported to give users a choice of what they want to use, because 4 coins supported is too small.
I thought this was a fiat-crypto casino, hence the KYC, I understand your license dictates how this goes with regards to KYC but unfortunately many players are uncomfortable with sharing or putting personal data out there,if crypto users can be exempt from this then casino should have more players coming in or perphaps after crossing a thresshold of 10,000 in withdraws this should call for kyc.
Signup process should make it mandatory to verify email address before gaining full access, because it's very much possible to type in a wrong email address and should anything happen like a forgotten password or reset of password this means you lose account and funds if any. I have seen this happen with others and I have done it before, which means losing access to an account is possible should it get logged out.

There's no problem in crediting speed, the problem with deposits is the limited methods, which doesn't offer many options for users.

Signing up

Users are required to enter their First and surnames alongside the usernames and password when signing up. The First and surname are to later prepare the user for KYC verification. One thing I noticed is there is not Geo-block for residents of jurisdictions that are banned from using the platform when I tried accessing it using an IP address of a banned/prohibited Jurisdiction.

The is also no confirmation email sent to the inbox of the email address used to register on the platform. Upon logging in under the KYC page, the first name and last name appear by default I believe they are also editable which is a good thing in case of any error

The part where someone is supposed to enter in a date is not really specific. I believe that should be the date of birth as shown in the document of the user.

Upon depositing, I was able to receive the 100% bonus as promised, however during the game play I noticed there was no progress bar of sorts that can show a player how much they have wagered so far when they are playing any game. This is very important to a player and need to be an added feature.

Gamblr.io is one of the most dynamic online casino I have seen. The animations and videos of the landing page, colour combination and UI give a premium feel, but it reduces the loading speed of the webpage. The website is suitable for both mobile and desktop.

Registration Process and User Interface
Like the most other crypto casinos, the registration process is simple. A user is needed to enter his first name, last name, username, email address and password for registration. Gamblr.io doesn't send any confirmation email or welcome message to the users email address, which is strange. For a while, I was wondering whether I had entered the correct email address or not.

Gamblr.io is asking the users to accept 'Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy' during registration. Where most of the casinos ask the users to accept the terms and conditions only. Personally, I liked this step of Gamblr.io. The user interface is simple and friendly. I can see a wide range of games. The UI of the sports betting section isn't bad, but it is not the best in my opinion. I'm not sure about the odds provider of Gamblr.io sportsbook yet.

VIP Loyalty System and Promotions
There are 3 VIP tiers at Gamblr.io, which are Red, Gold and Black. New users are considered as basic users. Minimum 25k points are required to reach the first VIP level. This is equivalent to $25k wager if we play the slots game or place bets on sports events. There are no benefits for the basic level users. It has made their VIP loyalty system less attractive. The requirement to reach Gold and Black VIP tiers is also high. The bonus rates should have been more there for all those VIP ranks with those requirements.

Payment Process (Deposit & Withdrawal)
It looks like Gamblr.io is using a 3rd party payment provider to process the payments. The deposit process is too easy. But they don't have too many deposit options available yet. Currently, they are only accepting deposits on BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC. They must add more crypto deposit option and networks for the users. I don't have the experience of making withdrawal yet as I lost my deposit. The mandatory KYC verification is a big downside of Gamblr. I haven't forced myself to test the withdrawal by making more deposits for the mandatory KYC verification system.

Gamblr has a lot of games from different providers. They don't have any own developed games though. I had played some games, and didn't face any issues with them. But my experience was too bad with their support team. I had reached their live support a few times, they replied to me once only. I didn't even receive a response despite waiting for 40 minutes by keeping the live chat open one time.

Conclusions
As a new casino in the gambling industry, Gamblr.io looks pretty solid. But the mandatory KYC verification, limited payment methods and lack of proper VIP loyalty system & promotions are a big downside of them. Gamblr.io team should bring some changes and upgrades on those sections to grow faster.

Overview of the Website

The home page is well designed with friendly colours. This is because, unlike other casinos that have a shouty colour combination that affects the eye negatively. Gamblr.io has fewer deemer but professional and attractive colour designs. It is common for me to use eyeglasses in some casinos due to the offensive bright colour designs, but I don't need them while using Gamblr.io. The arrangement of games on the home page makes it easy for first-time visitors to navigate the casino without confusion. The options for casino games and sports betting is clear.

But I noticed that it was very slow to load. I thought it was from my internet connection until I visited another casino. I guess it might be because of the excess animation in the casino. It has to be fixed since it is time consuming.

Deposit

I deposited $21 using USDC, and it reflected in my account within two minutes, which is encouraging. But the casino has very few payment options in cryptocurrencies and they have none for fiat. The minimum deposit is $10; wouldn't it be better if it were reduced? Some people might not be able to deposit such an amount based on their income. The casino has a variety of games that will entertain almost all gamblers who visit. But I took interest in Ibiza Final Boss, 777 Rush and Bullets and Bounty. The games look fair to me because there was a high rate of wins. But my biggest win game from Ibiza Final Boss and I enjoyed the game. But my biggest losses were from 777 Rush.

I went further to place bets on sports. My favourite League is the Bundesliga which is one of the top European Leagues. Withdrawal

This is the area that I am not too pleased with Gamblr.io. After my games, I lost a few dollars and decided to withdraw the rest. I was subjected to one of the most rigorous KYCs for just $18. I wouldn't have complained if it were above $1000. You can withdraw in some casinos without these documents. I had to submit proof of identification, do facial recognition and provide proof of residence to withdraw. The truth is I would never visit a casino that would ask for these documents or make me go through this process for a few bucks. The proof of residence was so annoying because they were very selective.

After the KYC had been approved, I couldn't initiate a withdrawal until I contacted customer support, who asked for my username. I guess authorisation is done manually and within few minutes I was able to withdraw. But it took a long time for it to be sent to my wallet. I waited for hours before it finally came.

They are fast, active and helpful. I contacted them when I was looking for the Bundesliga, and a link was sent in less than one minute that sent me to the right page. When I had issues with withdrawal after KYC, their response was also fast and helpful. But why would customers need to fill in their username and email every time before they are attended to by support? It's unnecessary and time-wasting.

Conclusion

General UI/functionality:

The game has an interesting name, "Hot Air Rises," and I literally laughed hard when I checked it out and started playing. Basically, it is a crash game, but the design is unique. A guy starts to fart when the game starts, and the guy falls when it crashes. If you play this game with the sound enabled, you will laugh as well.
