Congratulations to you on reaching this feat in this contest which I know has not been an easy one. It is right to say that whatever is conceivable is also achievable. Keep up the good work as we patiently hope to see the best possible results. I understand that the judges are humans but I trust the ability of our Naija moderators. They've been doing this before now and I know this one would be a walkover.

Congratulations to everyone for successful submission of their creativities. It would be nice to in one way or the other have a sprinkle of rewards on every of the works as it was all innovative. Anyone can win and we trust every judgement.

Congratulations to you @Obim34 for gradually getting to the end of this project that once started as a tiny idea in your mind.

First of all I want to say a big shout out to God almighty for keeping us till date to witness this day, secondly I want say shout out to the organizers of this Nigeria  Green white Green contest you guys have indeed proven to be a great bitcoin enthusiasts that you are and I also want to say shout out to everyone that took part in the contest you all have done extremely well, we are indeed taking our Naija Local board to the next level  and making our local board to stand out among others.


The good lord that has taken us this far will still lead us to the wonderful and beautiful end of this contest in Jesus name amen.

Wow. This is a good one. I wish I joined the forum before now. Congratulations because I can see the competition is almost coming to an end. By next year I will be G lad to join if you still repeat the contest. Beautiful presentations of the art works, it's indeed very well arranged OP. You did a great job and i must commend you for your time and efforts you have put in to make this contest work. Recognizing the independence day is a way to keep our hopes alive for a better Nigeria even though our dreams seems as though it is unrealistic but we still hope the best for our beloved country. While we await the winners, i say congratulations to them in advance.

The drawing competition on the occasion of Nigeria’s Independence Day was great. Many people submitted beautiful pictures in their own way. Special thanks to OP for organizing such a contest.

The contest was said to accept three types of artworks-
1. Hand Drawing
2. Digital Art
3. Craft

Above I have listed the three types of pictures separately.

Now the process of selecting the winners is going on.
But I have a question in my mind that will the best three works be selected from the three types of pictures (all the pictures)? Or will different pictures be selected as winners for different categories?
And if all the pictures are combined and the winner is selected, then on what criteria will it be selected?

Yes you re right, there is this popular saying that says that a little idea or a little plan will end up being a big plan, the initiator of this contest deserves all the praises his is getting, at first I know that he might be discouraged but here we re almost at the end of the contest. I wish to congratulate everyone who participated and I sincerely trust the Judges and I know that there will be a fair judgement at the end of the day. Kudos

The sponsor of this contest has done a great job to add value to naija local board that will make people not to forget his contribution for the growth of naija local board.

Congratulations to you guys. Your arts are awesome. Revisiting your arts made me understand why it can only be you guys that should win this contest. There were many creative minds that participated but I must say the judges were very keen and near perfect with their voting. @Obim34, you have done Nobel, I hope next year would be much better than this year's own.

OP you've done a great job, organizing this contest. Anyway I was unable to participate this year, maybe next year I will see what i can give in contribution to Nigerian Independence day.

I would also suggest, if by next year you intend to organize it again, see if you can increase the number of winners, because there were beautiful artworks that deserve a little bit of reward. I would love to support as the case maybe.

It's an interesting contest and hopefully maybe it will continue annually if possible. This is one of the contests I’ve seen on this local board where the choices of the judges for catch my heart or aligned with mine. Not all of them per se as I hardly did note the third but I see now the piece of art right there but, the first and second places were definitely my pick for those positions and placements. On these, I can say the judges did their diligence and just to the contests.

I appreciate the participants too, you all challenge yourselves to do better.
For those posting AI generated content in contests such as these as, I can spot some obviously AI looking content with watermarks all over them, I suggest you guys don’t repeat that. It still counts as plagiarism.

Why is the judges hidden and not visible for the community to know? This makes me feel like pot of afang soup. The other fruit contest has an open judges and the pick was open...this one is not visible and I don't know why?

Your problem I suppose, judges made calls that sit well with me and their is something called reputation, except you are calling them out on that and I wouldn’t blink…

I wonder though, just how many contests have you actively participated in, given that your account was registered just 3 months ago and you only started being active from 17th of September being last month… or you’re not exactly a newbie I suppose.

I don’t think this is what you should be dwelling on as a newbie if you are, focus on learning about Bitcoin and the forum and let the contests slide in at the side.

This contest was made, by OP @Obim34, and so many participated, indeed there where judges that finalized this art contest. And I can also see that you haven't participated in any art contest before.

@MorganaX, OP that win this contest has been participating for roobet art contest for a while now I believe he have known how contest like art, are basically presented. With some experience participating in Roobet art contest has not been an easy one, where you will see different art around the world, so don't you think he have already gotten that experience.
And again if you know about Roobet art contest you will come to discover that, for some years now, members are frequently participating, where the judges are not known, but still winners are still selected rightly.

So are you telling the local board that the judges did something foolish or those that win paid the judges, for the way you sounded.

I also participated and, I thought I would be part of the winners, but it didn't go the way I was expecting, but still, I congratulate the winners and give them accolade because is never easy
And for someone to come with the idea to host this contest that we haven't seen in this forum, you thought it was easy

The judges did there job, and the winners we selected rightly.

You've never participated in a contest but interested in the judges, we had 43 participants, 3 won and 40 saw the results and are okay with it, next time don't call me out hiding behind a newbie account. The judges for the contest are well reputed, I don't think your actual account has gotten to their level of reputation.

Specifically for this account, i will keep this thread open for another 48hrs, if you can provide an artwork that competes with the first winner, you get a prize. I won't tolerate this behavior, try it with someone else not me.

It's certain that he doesn't know credibility and a good art when he sees one. There is no need changing words with him or even asking him to provide a better art. I believe the contest was organized by you @ obim and you have stated your rules and regulations that would guide the competition of which was followed and the judges decided and brought the results. For me I think he should just go and organize his own contest and state his own rules that he seems fair and legit for him.

Nice job, you indeed did an incredible job, i am glad to be part of the success of this project, let do more next time i will be more involved and committed to the contest, you called my attention late so there was little i could do but just to judge others and not being a contestants myself.

So make you no because of one person decide to award prize because e complain and e post art way e feel say e good, that one no be the way to handle am. I got the inspiration for this art from the current situation of the Nigerian Economy. Due to high inflation and other financial crises within the country eating away our local currency value, we have gradually found a lifeline in  Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This rising interest in decentralized digital money has really shown how we Nigerians are actively seeking out our own solutions to get around the current financial roadblocks.
I pray for a better Nigeria.
