In Russia St. Petersburg, grandmothers are already actively trading greens and vegetables for cryptocurrency

That must be a joke. And why is there a BCH sign on the add?  ;D ;D

I can imagine her grandson joking like that, but not her taking BTC. No way it happens in this reality and in Russia.

Op this does not look normal because the price of vegetables is not up to a dollar in my location so buying or selling it with bitcoin might not be a favorable thing for the seller because of the transaction fee. But it is a good news if really market people accept bitcoin in major products and goods.

Poor grandma does not know she is using the BCH symbol not the BTC symbol. I hope someone explains the difference to her before she makes a mistake.

That being said.... How much BTC does she want for a sour pickle?  ;D

It really is a bit heartwarming to see the elderly warming up to Bitcoin and the modern world.

That is a granny that is still very much young at heart because I cannot even imagine my granny being accommodating to any other payment method asides physical cash that she can see. She is not even interested in bank transfers because of the stress she may have to go through to get her money.

I feel in the future, there will lot more elderly people who will accept payments in bitcoin, by then, we will become the old people of that time and it will no longer be surprising to have older people using bitcoins for payment.

Two things maybe involve in this picture, neither someone is using the woman for promotion of cryptocurrency or the children wants their mums to trend, because at her age what she will demanding or needing should be a traditional currency, so that it will be easier for her to spend it, it's very difficult you see a woman that age that knows what is cryptocurrency talk more of Bitcoin, if the information is real that means the woman is working for someone, secondly price of what she's selling no one worth $1.

I think grandma's family is involved in bitcoin and so she has being lectured about bitcoin which she now knows what she stands to gain using bitcoin for business transaction, I am not surprised at grandma's involved in bitcoin, main looking at her, she is exposed and we'll educated in that way it will be easy for her to understand and transact bitcoin at her convenience, and remember they are less stressed and so they will have enough time for bitcoin, she is not only into bitcoin but other cryptocurrencies, there are some few elderly  ones that are very active, smarter and focused than some youths, when we come across those elders, then we should not expect less from them, remember age is not a barrier in bitcoin, investing for her children and grandchildren's future, do not underestimate anyone irrespective of the age.

Some granny have determination, maybe she has concluded that you most have a bitcoin and she derived this method to have bitcoin, there's some granny's that needs what is invoke, it's granny choice to do what's in her mind

The granny is definitely working for someone even though she may know some great deal about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin of which is number one before any other crypto currencies.
Still, this picture depicts the growing realization of Bitcoins dominance in the financial system and how it helps to ease transactions and the load of carrying cash weight around.

That's not a BTC symbol but BCH.

I guess that his grand children or whoever printed that have no idea that these two are different and if they're going to accept BTC, it should be with the one colored orange logo.

Since the abbreviation is written there, people who would see the logo will assume that it's BTC and not BCH. If I'm there, I'll take an apple from grand ma and pay her with BTC.  :P

Well, a new adoption type has occurred! I hope it's the same in my country, too.  ;D

I'm also bothered that they are using BCH and not BTC. Maybe grandma has a thing for color green, because she's selling "Greens"  ;) :P ;D
